I'm looking for a retro game like this but much older, circa 1990-1994. The vehicle could fly in the air, have wheels on the ground or be a jet boat on water. Anyone have any idea what this game was?

@RedTony I planned to beat all 3 stages in Johnny Nero: Action Hero with Guns of Fury akimbo mode at Eleanor's Undertow in Lincoln City, OR, but I ran out of quarters halfway through The Mummy King stage (I beat the Space Wars stage).
I remember this was one of my favourite games I'd play at any arcade. Slightly annoying how levels 3 and 5 are rigged to instant-kill you at the beginning, I'd only ever get to the beginning of level 3 because I'd save the rest of my coins for ticket games :'(
Seriously. For an arcade game, this game goes harder than it should. It’s like the devs knew that not everyone had a steering wheel added to their controller so they just put this in an arcade. My god, this was the funnest out of every arcade game to plane.

I remember playing this at Stars and Strikes back in 2018. I beat Freeze and Bane, and then I did the Joker level but when I got to the part there you’re supposed to ram him with the Batmobile, I missed. And I didn’t have any S&S points left to try again. Thank god I get to see the ending here.😂

I like how most versions of Batman have an almost religious commitment to not killing anyone, then in this game his solution to every problem is jut strapping two LMGs to the Bat-mobile and shooting everything that moves.
I know this arcade when i was 15 my family take us to the mail arcade and it was fun to play, but every dc fan forgot this arcade. And you really good to use emulator is really fun
I remember playing this game with a friend, and he would simply explore the city while I came in clutch to clear the missions within the time limits. It was challenging, but it paid off. (that was until we both died with no continues left)

fun fact, at the beginning of a chapter if you go slowly out of the batcave, you can explore arkham aslyum.
Constant unavoidable damage, no way to recover armour, this is a coin muncher in every sense of the word.
Sometimes you can get health back when your at 1 hp. I could beat the bane and mr. freeze boss fights with no damage taken.
Either way, it’s still fun
