This game was literally my introduction to the terminator franchise so terminator salvation holds a weird special place in my heart despite the fandom's opinions on the movie
Look at it this way ever since Dark Fate came out I think the fandom has a new movie to be... divided on so to speak... I know which side I'm on at least.
True that, I enjoyed the Terminator franchise alot besides all the other franchises but I'm glad I'm not in the fandom cuz' I bet it's just as worse as the Transformers or TMNT ones lol.
I remember someone at the arcade attempting to use both guns. I don’t know how far he made it but he seemed pretty successful when dual wielding the guns
I actually tried doing that and it kind of succeeded I mean it was a bit easy dual welding its just you need to be quick The only flaw is that you need alot of tokens or credits so that you can succeed
I played the Aliens Arcade games; these arcade shooters are so much fun. At one point I joined the army and learned some good rifle skills; so when I picked up and played Aliens Armageddon; I was gunning Xenomorphs down left and right and my coworkers watching me were going "dude... what the hell!" These games are a blast.
Congrats to you, it's not often real life jobs can be used to help win video games physically. Also I don't know what branch you served in the army but we all appreciate your service to the country.
Oh yeah it was a similar game to this one, I've always wanted to try that! Mainly the big one where you could HOLD the actual rifle and aim properly, I hate the one where it's stuck to the machine and stiff to aim.

I told Adam from Arcade Heroes a while back about how far we’ve come from just pulling out our recording devices so we could get arcade game footage. Now we have the power to plug in a few additional wires on the arcade PC and record it from a separate computer. It’s just amazing how far technology has come now that we have the power to do this kind of stuff. Nice job on this playthrough. Of course, the game HAS to be that difficult, or else it doesn’t make money. But then again, we’ve shown it is possible to 1cc this game.

Good God what a nostalgia trip. Only one arcade in my side of the state had this gem and I used to buy both player slots and dual wield rifles. Not very effective, but enjoyable. To be a kid again.
I remember doing that once or twice as a kid or teen and to reload I would just slam the magazine buttons on the counter that the guns were tethered to.
Yes Raw Thrills made a sequel to Aliens Extermination even though Extermination was made by Global VR with PlayMechanix which is also part of Raw Thrills company.
Transformers human alliance based on the movies of the bayvarse trilogy even the name of the toy line based on the Hasbro movies also used in arcade game
When I was in Highschool our marching band would have a sort of "retreat" at the on the last day of Band camp at John's Incredible Pizza. I unironically would spend all my points on my card with me and my buddy doing nothing but playing this game. I even beat the whole thing in one sitting. It was 100% worth it.
I remember when I was a kid, I played arcade machines with my grandmother. This video reminded me that I played this game. My grandmother told me about the Terminator movie later. I love this franchise, especially the fourth movie. I really like the way the apocalypse was depicted there.
God this brings back memories. I used to live in a neighborhood that had a community club house. In the clubhouse was a small arcade. All of the machines were set to where they didn’t need coins or money to work. My friends and I would play this game all the time when we got home from school… great times.
I remember playing this at one of my favorite arcades that shut down. Well, the mall it was in closed, but it was the coolest arcade I've ever been to, still to this day. This game was my favorite, and there was Lazer tag on top of it.
I think all of us here remember playing this in an arcade or bowling alley at some point as kids, can’t say I have some crazy fond memories of it but it’s definitely nostalgic seeing it here
Every time I go to a arcade this game is the first thing I look for. Good times trying to rush this game because your pizza was ready. I remembered beating it with a cousin and we both felt sick but it was worth it.
Never played this, but I still remember being freaked out anytime I'd see the Terminator stand on top of the cabinet with the glowing eyes. Pretty sure it traumatized me for a bit.
The amazing thing is that back then the mechanics and the position of playing the game in the arcade helped with the immersion. But looking at it now u can see how it was alittle janky when everything is clear from watching in high resolution than watching those screen for the salvation arcade game
I'll never understand why we didn't get this game for console instead of the garbage one they made for it instead. The music, the visuals, even the weapons are just miles better in comparison.
It's cool to see how this game fully plays out in its story. I never had enough money or just sucked to actually progress further than the first and second mission.
0:34 fearless, relentless killing machines. It’s what we become we face extinction, but this is not the end. We are the resistance. This is just beginning.
There’s a movie theater that everyone always goes to near me, and literally for the longest I can remember, every time I went to the movies with my parents I’d play the hell out of this game before and after the movie. Can’t believe that was 12 years ago bro.
I played the hell out of this game as a kid. Thanks for the memories. I also remember being underwhelmed by Terminator Salvation because it was nothing like this game except for the setting lol
I had one of these to see in my town when I was a kid at a mall. There was a kids section on upper floor where children love to come to play there and eat burgers. The left side of this Planet of Kids (that's how it was called) is dinosaur themed playground for littles while the right one is space future sci-fi type of mood for "cool guys". Back then Terminator franchise hasn't gone to shit as we can see it now and it had reputation, so you guess there was this arcade everyone loved to play but no one could beat it. I'm thinking if there was at least one person who did make it to the end of all this despite the difficulty and long ass line that would always go "Move on, I wanna play!" But if he did he probably paid a shit ton of money for that. I still doubt to this day, if anyone could make it. If he did I think there was no one to tell the tale.
Can I use footage of this playthrough to mention this game in a retrospective of all Terminator games? I'll credit your channel as the footage source onscreen and link to this video in the description as well.
I’m pretty sure I played THIS particular game with my dad in the arcade on this ship called the Spirit of Tasmania on a trip this one time. To this day, I still find the Jurassic Park Arcade a LOT more easier. Because, I made much more progress on it.

Plays smooth AF! Now I am working on my 55" Aliens Armageddon, 705 G3 is giving me some issues, but the old HP6305 is running a Samsung 500GB 870 SSD & Zotac 1650LP 4GB w/GDDR6 & Next is Global VR's Blazing Angels WWII airplane fight cabinet computer upgrade.
I'm very glad it helped, I'd suggest sticking with the GTX 750 instead of the GT 730 for Terminator even though i slid in a GTX 650ti instead of the GTX 750. Mainly the GT 730 was really meant for a Display Card and not used for the Game even if the card has 2GB of Vram it's still weaker than having the 650ti 1 GB Video Card. I've also dealt with the HP 705 G3s being a pain in the ass with Cruis'n Blast with the Zotac GTX 1050 2 GB Video Card so i replaced both with the Dell Optiplex 3050 Mini-Tower with the i5-6500, 8GB DDR4, and 256GB M.2 SATA SSD and it runs so much better even though only Version 2.17 which is the 2020 Update supports the new M.2 SSDs. I have all the Raw Thrills Recovery ISOs including the latest version with the USB creation tool so i can make copies of recovery usb drives for the specific games when i sell a fully working computer and not making it crazy price like most people are paying on betson or ebay. Even the latest Global VR XP Embedded OS software from 2014 can run on the Optiplex 380. So in my spare time i test all sorts of computers with these games and see if they are useful because it's just insane how much money people are paying for a "new" computer part where you can even go to a e-waste facility and find parts there if so.
@@DewRagen do you know what is the nvidia driver is on Terminator? The reason I’m running a GT 730 is a release note/log file states that they supported the graphics card from what I understand on aliens Armageddon with v6.00 you can run a 2080. I just updated the graphics driver last night for blazing angels golobal VR I’m able to get a 750 TI to work, but the driver supports up to a 960!!! Any chance you’re willing to share those ISO’s?
@@2002SLPSS1991 Terminator v1.41 has the most recent driver from December 2014 when the software was released, then a day later they have updated the driver so it used 346.22 for AMD64Linux and for Global VRs Multi Version of the OS for June 2014 is running the Driver Version 337.88. I can post links but it might take a while to upload
@@DewRagen So on T.S. it's running a Nvidia 346.22 driver supports up to a GTX980/Titan damn!!!. As for my Global VR Blazing Angels Disc I just got 2 days ago v1.2 dated back to (9/24/2014) running an embedded Windows XP its best driver is 275.33 for Desktop GPU's, they somehow added 306.23 for "mobile GPU's" WTF! which did not work for me. I was able to install (after some doing) Nvidia 368.81 up to a GTX960/Titan, currently the 750 is running, but BA will be getting a used 750ti as its is on the way.
Also one note on the Global VRs OS Multi version is the Intel Desktop Board D915GAG I've tested for Aliens has Sound issues so it won't load the audio check and if it starts playing the Demo attract it will crash so you have to run the driver located in the !drivers folder which they have for most of the supported motherboards because the OS finding drivers are a hot mess and you might have to locate some drivers which can be frustrating but the Optiplex 380 made it so much easier and only requires you to locate the Nvidia Graphics, and Audio Driver which is in the NVIDIA folder right out of the open on the C: drive that's where the nvgenco32.sys and nvinfo.pb files are needed to install the driver correctly so I'd suggest sticking with the Optiplex 380 for this Multi OS Disk. Also if you got the Core 2 Duo E7500 CPU with the GT 730 Video Card in the 380 Nascar Racing won't even lag a bit because i remember working on one with a 6600LE + GIGABYTE Motherboard and it was so laggy and not enjoyable

Also if you got the Core 2 Duo E7500 CPU with the GT 730 Video Card in the 380 Nascar Racing won't even lag a bit because i remember working on one with a 6600LE + GIGABYTE Motherboard and it was so laggy and not enjoyable
this is still at my movie theater I love this game lol
I feel like this game is the last arcade game any generation will reminisce about. Insanely hard and insanely fun worth every bucks I spent on it
By far the best arcade game I ever played, literally a core memory with my brother
W game, actually forced u to “get good” and constantly held your attention 20/10
This was the best thing in my arcade, loved it so much.
My local movie theater has this game at their arcade and I enjoy playing it there whenever I get the chance.
I remember seeing this game at the arcade section of my local trampoline park, thought it was the coolest arcade machines ever made
This game is so fun with a friend. Both this game and the console Salvation games were really good.
Without a doubt, that arcade is a good game. I remember playing it and putting in a lot of coins
