This is the 4th video I attempted to crochet along with. Your's is the first one I understood enough to actually make a cable stitch!! All the kudos!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗
Hi, thankyou so much for sharing this video. Its by far the best method for Crotcheting Cable Stitches, its also the nìcest looking. Thanks again...Jen (UK)
I have been trying for almost a year to find a crocheted cable pattern I could understand without success until now!,, THANK YOU for this pattern - I have been able to expand it to make a crocheted cable hat for the first time ever and it looks GREAT! Again, many thanks - you are a wonderful instructor!
You are an amazing instructor and your voice and video are so very clear. Thank you so much for showing how to do crochet cables as this is something I have not done previously
Excellent instruction! I love how you pace yourself and explain each stitch in detail. The tone of your voice is so calming, which makes me want to learn more from you. Plan to ask my daughter to purchase your Crochet Book for Christmas. I am a true fan of yours! :)
Oh my heavens! You are the best instructor! I had no trouble following this tutorial. I absolutely love your calm approach. I will be looking for your tutorials and check into your blog!
🧓Hey there!! I just wanted to tell you that I can do cabling!! 😸😸 I tend to overthink things and get frustrated trying new things. You made it SO easy 😁😁 Thank You!!
This is beautiful and looks so easy. I've gone though 20 or more videos trying to learn this stitch. They were all so hard and complicated. Do you have a pattern for a scarf using this demonstration? How many foundation chains would I need for a scarf. Again 😊 tyvm
Thank you so much! This is one of those stitches that I've admired from a distance. lol Your video was so clear, step by step making it seem less intimidating. 😊😘
Thank you.... Thank You! For this wonderful Tutorial, this has been the easiest video for this particular Cabled Pattern Stitch, so glad I found you! 😊
Thank you so so much .you are marvelous in your video.I finally learned to make this pattern, because you make it so easy to learn and to followed step by step.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤
Your hands were open and what was done in each stitch was clear. Other videos go super fast and don't sop to show you exactly with post to DC. I just finish watching a vid where a lady says do 4 DC. And proceeds to do 3. Like woman I just watched your hands do otherwise!!! Lol I swear some videos mess with your heads on purpose. Sure enough I fallow what I saw and it's correct. Anyways this was easy and you showed the work through out the process I appreciate that.
I really want to try cables and I want to make a cushion cover with your pattern so is there a stitch multiple to do,to make it the size I need? Any advice gratefully accepted😊
When you are moving to row 4 and the line of half double crochet, on the back of the work it’s almost as if pockets have formed. (The back of the beginning of the cables) do I close both sides of the pockets, as in put my crochet hook through both sides of the cables for the half double crochet? Or just do the half double crochet on the back row (the front of the work)
Another awesome tutorial!!! If I could make a request?? Could you please do a magic circle tutorial? I’m still struggling with holding it right and what not for some reason once I finally get going the tail end never works to close it 😭
The magic ring is definitely a little tricky at first. Admittedly I avoided it for a long time lol! But yes, I will try to film a video for you very soon! :)
Hi. Thank you for the tutorial. It’s very easy to follow and the quality is great. Can you tell me which app you have used to add the words “ Gleeful Things “ to your video ?
I personally don’t like cables for blankets because they don’t look nice on the back side but I’d encourage you to work up a swatch and see what you think! :)
I've been sat here wracking my brain over a pattern for so long trying to figure out this stitch (the in pattern description is very brief) but this made it far easier to understand, now I can finish my slippers! ( ◜‿◝ )♡
There's a link in the description to where you can find the free written pattern on my blog. I also offer a low cost PDF on Etsy & Ravely if you'd like to print it.
I’ve watched 100 of these tutorials and this is the only one that makes sense THANK YOU
This is the 4th video I attempted to crochet along with. Your's is the first one I understood enough to actually make a cable stitch!! All the kudos!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗

I really want to try cables and I want to make a cushion cover with your pattern so is there a stitch multiple to do,to make it the size I need? Any advice gratefully accepted😊
I tried this recipe several times and it is delish! I did not have all spice but I simply added cinnamon and it was still a big hit! Thank you :)
What! She leaves us.. I have no idea what to do.. repeat rows 4-7? Brother..
All you need to do is rewind the video and do rows 4-7 again ;)
Beautiful I'll try this I'm working on it and it seem so hard at first .but it's worth the try
This is the best video I have seen. I think I can do it!
When you are moving to row 4 and the line of half double crochet, on the back of the work it’s almost as if pockets have formed. (The back of the beginning of the cables) do I close both sides of the pockets, as in put my crochet hook through both sides of the cables for the half double crochet? Or just do the half double crochet on the back row (the front of the work)
This is my main problem w the cable stitch and I am looking for the answer as well
Beautiful beautiful and easy to follow, thanks so much
To do a full size or even a small blanket to you do multiples of 11?
