Nice set set up by NDTV. Good job designers 👏🏼
One day our Indian will be permanent member of United Nations
Reform or reforms, stop or restrict the veto powers of members.
What a insughtful debate dealt with
UN and its existing status and ineffiecent impact globaly. Its no denial any structural reforms would be gradual but sooner its better ,otherwise different global forums surely would emerge.
The UN has to declare that all religions are legitimate paths to god as one.
There was not a sovereign nation called India when the UNSC was formed in 1945, period.
"Not necessarily the G 20", is he implying BRICS???❤
The "United Nations" has become irrelevant in today's world. Russia has invaded and occupied parts of Ukraine but the UN is unable to punish Russia. China has occupied Tibet and the UN is yet to sanction the totalitarian Chinese regime. FM Jaishankar rightly says the UN Security Council does not represent the entire membership. If India is not made a member of the UN Security Council, the UN should be dissolved and money saved used to help oppressed peoples and nations around the world.
India should just pack up and leave the UN.
Why is India. Thrown out one brics currency
Three nation joined Russia china South Africa
Why do we use English in every field of India? *(Why do we need English)*
1) India is a *"multilingual"* country & we have a different language family's *(Indo-european, Dravidian, indo-iranian sino-tibetan, Tibeto-burman, Semitic, astro-asiatic Etc..)* & India has no _-national language-_ or any _-monolingual policy-_ the country of India is a *"union system'* and "all languages are respected equally"
2) Only English is recognized and used as the *"2nd administrative language"* in all states of India. (After their state's official language)
3) English is the only language used in all fields of India *(science, technology, research, education, medical, business, job field, information, space field, Navy, etc..)*
4) India is mostly dependent on *"foreign income"* & So we need English in the field of 'business' and 'workplace'
5) English is emerging as the future *"lingua franca"* of India and the World
6) English is *"indispensable"* today and giving more value to "English" after our "State language" is also good for our financial empowerment.
7) Yes there is a language problem in India! So English has grown and is growing as a language to solve that problem, This is the reality! It is better to accept reality. And at the same time all the languages of India should be respected equally
How long this can go on at 🇺🇳 UN?
