This fellows Amazing Grace popped up today on Pinterest. With every song I listened to i got more chills. I'm 71 and am an old metal and rock woman. I could listen to him all day. He brings these songs to life in such a way that goes clear to my soul.
My son was a son of pain but his escape was death. This song holds pain for my sons passing, but hope for me I think. Dan is such a powerful force in my escape from darkness. Thank you Dan.

It holds pain for him in his father's passing as well.😢❤ I'm so sorry for your loss..💔 I lost my son too. Yet he lives. Right frontal brain injury from a car accident. 5 month coma, 1.5 years in the Brain and Spinal injury hospital, thought he was my dad for a while then my husband for a while, then he was 6yrs old for several months and loved me❤ then he settled in the evil twin of himself and truly hates me for no reason. I suffered his abuse for 20 years. Now we haven't spoken for 4 years. Nobody, nothing tells you how to grieve a living child. 😢

Another triumphant, soul piercing version that is so intimately sung! Can anyone else go to the level where Dan Vasc goes to show so much emotion in EVERY song he does!! I watch this man shed genuine tears of grief, yet maintain all his vocal control. Meanwhile, I cry until I melt into a puddle of tears on the floor. To me, he’s a miracle of empathy and strength, and I don’t know he manages that. To say his music stirs the soul would be the most obvious understatement of all time, and I will never understand how he does it.
