Persona Q Music is definitely underated and underappreaciated tbh. Laser Beam (Persona Q Boss Battle) is one of my favorite Persona OST. You should definitely check it out.
Minako was definitely a welcome addition to Persona Q. What really surprised me was that she has speaking lines for once and how it's been almost a decade since she last appeared in a Persona game. I really like her interactions with the P5 cast and how she became fast friends with Futaba and Ann, even to the point she's already on first name basis with the latter.
Aye, she really does seem right at home with these guys which given all they've been through "Outcasts who were unfairly labelled without a place to belong" actually makes huge sense and it's why I adore Q2 so much. I especially love they don't forget about her being with the Phantom's even after her own team shows up and she's ends up using what they taught her.
This kind of makes me want to see a remade Persona 3 with the FeMC because A: I'd love to see how that'd look on modern graphics and B: She just projects so much warmth and that'd be an interesting contrast playing through that again(I did play the portable version but still) you know... God she just projects so much warmth here though!
Well actually the Protagonist in Main games don't really talk without The Dialogue options, or inside battle. What if the Protagonist you don't choose still joins the Group?
Really cool how they characterized all the protagonists other than Joker. When playing those games it always fell into that whole "silent protagonist" trope, because although with a lot of dialogue options it just ends up being a projection for the player. Dunno. Just feels like P3P, P3, and P4 protags got their time to shine as characters first and didn't have to conform to what the player wants them to say and feel. P3P MC is definitely my favorite and probably has the best side story in Q2 being that she is with the P5 group the entire time and had more story interactions, so when we get to the 3rd Stratum we were already somewhat invested in her character.
well if you ever search Minako on Dancing Moon Night you might be surprised, its a fan mod but hell yeah she's so cute in tjose HD graphicss, best girl deserves so much better than this:(

For some reason the writers decided or got permission not to adhere as much to the "it's a self insert character so they can't have any personality to break the illusion" rule of dialogue writing. Maybe they figured most players are male so they wouldn't play her as a self insert?

Honestly Minako (or Kotone as i called her in my playthrough) was probably my favorite and most used character as soon as she appeared on the story, she is just, i was so glad to see her, specially since persona 3 portable was not only my first persona game, but also my first smt game, and guess who i played as on my first playthrough.
I loved Femc so much playing PQ2 she was such a sweet girl and honestly left a very good impact. Now a year later I'm finally playing Portable for the first (almost done) I swear hearing her theme play almost made me cry but it would have if I had already played it and played PQ2 later on.
Her theme "Pull the Trigger" Is really sad if you know She alone in world she didn't know, her friends (sees) not from her world and she keep positive about it not try to show that sadness she experiences. Thank goodness that P4 members manage to make her feel happy and welcoming in this unknown world

You’d think the devs thought better than to only leave a six-character limit on MC names. Why the hell must it be Minako Arisat and Yu Naruka?
I really miss the English VA’s for these characters, Elizabeth in particular. It’s only going to get worse with the upcoming P4 and P3 Characters-Especially P4 where IMO they achieved the rare feat of having a better english cast than the original japanese cast. FMA:B’s Edward and Gintama’s Kagura just don’t work well as Naoto and Rise, and Johnny Yong Bosch is Yu Narukami.

@@averageral3192 No. It most probably because of the fact the English cast were busy with other projects. Like the upcoming Persona 5 The Royal and P5 Scramble games.
Beaides the P3 & P5 dancing games had their English Dub cast as well. Which was released not that long ago. Not to mention Vic still voiced his lines for Rohan Kishibe for the JoJo Part 4 dub.
Not to mention Japan is totally in the dark for the most part regarding except certain members of Toei animation. Even then they more mad with Funimation screwing with their brand than anything else.
Nah, the english VA doesn't have anything to do with P5R for now. It's most likely because of the sales numbers being lower than expected in Japan. The VA costs (30 VA's? For real???). The dying 3DS situation (The 3DS is less popular here in the west). And the controversies.

The P3P Fem Protag has an official name. It's Kotone Shiomi.
I think that’s just for the theater play, just like how P3MC is called Shiomi Sakuya when the official name is Makoto Yuki.

@@one-wingedangel5107 But unlike the P3MC, that's her only known name: Minako is a fan-made name. Also, the P3MC is known as Minato Arisato in the manga, as well as the Japanese trailer for Persona Q1.

Well technically p1, p3-5 dont have actual canon names. Just fan canon because anime and manga other places where they got names is the closes to them getting canon names. But none of them do except the p2 protagonist.

A shame for sure. Actually ended up being the reason I passed on it. No hate to the fans of the sub or anything like that, the Japanese voice actors are phenomenal, but without the english cast I've come to adore its just lost something special to me.
@@TheWeaselDaddy it didn't get a dub because of the time and console it was launched. The 3ds is nearing the end of it's life span, so it was expected to have low sales. Basically it wasn't worth the time and money to dub it.
