Love watching, even if there is traffic noise. Watching you work drowns out the noise.

I just found your channel a couple of days ago. Thank you. I have been searching for videos or books that show, not dense fillers, but nice loose free motion edge to edge designs. I do not have a long arm but love free motion just the same but need to get some more ideas.

Are you quilting in manual mode and if so what is the stitch length
I’m trying to figure out the whole manual speed Versus regulated precise and regulated cruise.
    Thanks for your help
I am also loving the everyday TH-cam your doing now

I honestly can’t recall what I was doing in this episode😉 but I do like stitching in manual mode. I like 10SPI when regulated, so I aim for a similar size when unregulated.

Really like your FMG design! I have a few that I have used over the years. I will doodle with your loopy idea. No backtracking and ok to cross over! I cannot attend the seminar “live” but want to watch later. If I sign up, is there a number limit? I don’t want to hold a place of someone who can attend “live”. Do I need to sign up to watch later?

Sherry, if you're referring the the All-over Feather Bootcamp, there's no limit to sign-ups, and you DO need to sign up to receive the links to the replays. Thanks for your interest!

Thank you sew much for sharing your amazing talent and knowledge. I have a sit down long arm, if that's what they call it. It's similar to a sweet sixteen , but it's a Juki with 18" throat... You are really convincing me I might need the frame, although space is an issue. I've been afraid of the loading process... I hear horror stories, but you made it look simple. Still pondering.... Q How often do you change your needle, and do you use size 18?

I generally use size 16, but it seems like lots of quilters use 18. I prefer to keep the needle holes as small as possible. And if you have the hand strength for Red Snappers - loading is a breeze! Oh, and I change my needle “once in a while”. Realistically, when I see signs of dullness (ticking sound), when I’m beginning a batik quilt, or it’s the first thing I do if tension is off. I know that’s not very scientific, but it’s reality. 😄

I’m finding the background music too loud and when you talk Susan fortunately I can hear you. Hope I’m not the only one who feels this

@@StitchedBySusan No it is not, that is why it was more noticeable for me. I have a hearing problem so maybe I notice it more.
