She's just the most gifted, insane singer on the planet, she's in the middle of writing her own songs for an album for the new year, she also plays guitar & piano, there will be be a lot of Tagalog & English songs on her album
The earphones convinced me to subscribe. Can you imagine trying to hear all of this performance without them? On a cell phone speaker? I love your enthusiasm and appreciation for what you are hearing. Voice coaches can use Morissette's performances to teach just about anything. But, she is also the complete package. Rare talent, beauty, love, joy, commitment to work hard, get training and then practice, great sense of humor, ability to immerse herself in the story, connect to the audience. I know I've left out some things but I'm sure you can continue to add attributes to the list.
I think for your next Morissette video it should be her performance at the 2017 Asia Song Festival. She sang 2 songs in it. You'll love it for sure, as much as I did.
Here are some fun facts Danielle - the two backing vocalists on this video are Adonis Tabanda (Mori’s musical director and a member of 3rd Ave) and Kiko Salazar (who wrote Akin Ka Na Lang). Two very influential and key figures in Morissette’s career.💕

Great question, but I stopped wondering that a few years ago when I started following her daily. I figured I don't have to keep wishing that because I already know she's the best there is, and I enjoyed everything she does, otherwise I won't waste my time. Maybe just wished she gets the fortune for her insane ability.

She doesn't live in NYC or LA/Hollywood one big reason why isn't like "biggest female artist" but maybe it's better to not live where all the predators thrive.

I was in love with this song after the first three notes. Not only am I a huge Morissette fan, but this version is on the smooth jazz edge of pop, which I thoroughly enjoy. Also, anyone who knows me knows that I almost always like the original song over a cover, no matter how good the cover. And yet Mori is so amazing that she constantly outdoes the original singers. This song really is a masterclass in control and precision. Big call for "she used to be mine". Might be a "sit down and I'll show you how it's done" moment for you but I like your rendition of it, although.... like nearly all the versions I've heard it sounds like you're singing a song. From the opening vowel Morissette rips open a can of emotional whip-ass which tears through my heart every time. Watching her sing that song is... difficult for me emotionally and even though I don't think it's one of her best (too many growls) her delivery, the story itself is so powerful I'm overwhelmed. Good luck when you get to it.

She is a bit older at 44, who previously shunned commercial secular opportunities to pursue singing Gospel due to her deeply held religious beliefs and a sense of obligation to use her gifts to comfort people. However, since starting to branch out she is considered one of the best female vocalists in the world. She is a professor of music at a prominent university, arranges all her own music, and is an acclaimed fantasy novelist. She has several English covers, though her Korean songs are just as impressive. To introduce you, I would suggest giving a listen and reaction to her cover of 'Never Enough' (recorded for the opening ceremonies of the virtual Olympics, there is a special twist that I will not give away) and her version of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' by Simon and Garfunkel (her gospel influences are on full display). If you want to see the full range of Morissette's vocal abilities while also singing live on stage you should check out her Asia Song Festival 2017. She does two songs, the first one is a more ballad style that shows her low range and full belting. The second is another Mariah song that shows her singing more upbeat while dancing around, also has a full spectrum range.
