For me, Morissette has been a singing education. I've never heard any other singer so precisely craft every single note - the entrances, exits, perfectly crafted runs, small runs even inside a syllable, starting notes slightly ahead of or behind the beat, little breaths in between, trademark squeaks and growls. There is nothing which isn't perfectly crafted. By comparison, most other singers just sound crude. Many voice coaches say they can't understand how she does her controlled squeaks - they just can't do them. Not to mention her warm, rich timbre, amazing breath control, and her 5+ octave range. It is truly a privilege to listen to her sing - like watching a great painter at work creating a masterpiece.
You're the 2nd voice coach who had notice the wrong note by one of the band, and that was in a span of 4 years.great reaction again thanks and God Bless to u as well as u'r family. by the way you too probably notice that she personally adjusted to the capabilities of the bands "misnotes" and that shows how professional and humble she is. She's a cowgirl.

Everything she sings it feels like she is telling you an experience she had in a song. How can she be so convincing and emotional even with her facial expressions and movements.
The most impressive thing about morissette, i think is the insane quality of her tone in every single performance. those controlled and sustained whistle notes are amazingly beautiful. she can whistle so long like she doesn't have to breathe. for me! its not just a whistle, its crystal clear whistle. i just hope she doesn't overuse her whistle and takes good care of her voice. that is a gift

She has so much control over her voice. To flip from soft falsetto to chest to belt in a second is impeccable. I like how you explained the track issue. I think you are right it’s just instrumentals on this without the track. She is so good and stays on track despite missed notes on instruments and flat notes from bgs. LOL 😂.
