Thank you, Deb!! Your editing is perfect.
I appreciate the opportunity to express my story. Hopefully, this interview will encourage others to be frank and honest about mental illness. We can End the STIGMA... one conversation at a time.
Lisa❤
Thanks Lisa. I think so yes. The more we COME TOGETHER on this channel and put it out there, i.e. YOU ARE NOT ALONE - it will normalise mental illness in a big way. Thank you again for doing the interview with me. Your honesty is refreshing and your courage is so commendable. xx
I want to add that this interview has been a big achievement for me. I rarely go on camera and speak. Thank you for the opportunity to move forward with a new sense of accomplishment.
I must add that my serious kidney disease is also a significant challenge for me. The physical and mental combination makes management even harder, but I NEVER GIVE UP.
I do have tremendous HOPE as we COME TOGETHER and beat the stigma for once and for all.
All my best,
Lisa ❤️
@lisashawe this is great to know. I will email you explaining my edits. You did so well. Thankyou again.
We MUST find more people who are willing to share their lives with mental illness if we’re going to make it acceptable’. You’re an asset to this channel. 🌹
Good on you Lisa. Lovely to hear you tell your story. Bravo! ❤❤❤
@@stephaniepoleson8891 Thank you, Steph. 🌹
Lisa, I really relate to the studying and not being able to work. I have exactly the same issue. I am university qualified, with many certificates, diplomas and degrees, but I am on disability pension. I am lucky I have this, plus my music and art. I am also on four different types of meds for depression, hypomania and mixed episodes, which are a wild and unpredictable ride. I sit in the middle of the spectrum, with bipolar 1 and 2 features. Also depression and ADHD. It’s great you have music and writing to guide you.
@@stephaniepoleson8891 Yes, I understand. I admire you in many ways. You are a brilliant example of guts and determination. My music and art has helped me cope. I am blessed to have this gift.
And , of course, I love your music and artworks.
You are super talented .
Much Love,
Lisa❤️🩹

@@SoulMama570 Yes indeed!
Anytime Lisa❤
Lisa you are very brave to talk about your bipolar and BTW are looking very good for your age. Guess Mark has a secret ingredient 😉 in his cooking that maintains your youthfulness 😊
Thank you 🙏
I have a question. How do certain mental illnesses stunt emotional and mental maturity?
Thanks, Lisa
Hi Lisa. They don’t unless the brain or ones chromosomes are compromised. Most people who have mental illness are very intelligent. I’ll cover this in a video. 🌹
@@deborah_mann thanks 🙏❤️
@Lisa, do you want specifics in the video?
@@deborah_mann Yes, that would be helpful ❤
