The fact they decided to add samsung dex is pretty cool, the A9+ is probably the best affordable tablet they've made in a while
agree , got a plane trip coming up and we already have a surface pro so was looking at this . The other samsung tablets are way overpriced , I just want to watch movies an browse the internet

This is one of the most affordable tablets ever. Love the A9+ Tab. The only downside is it doesnt come with a stylus. I bought a 256GB SD card to go with it and a universal stylus. Mine is 4GB RAM with 64GB storage but I only use it for school, browsing the internet and Netflix so no big deal. And it handles most games comfortable not a bad tablet. Samsung u did good!!!! Very impressed!

This is another good budget offering from Samsung IMO. Here in the Ph the A9+ (wifi) costs 270$ while the S9 FE (wifi) is 487$. It has most of the features of the S9 FE at a lower price.

I am also particularly impressed with the a09 tablet, it has an amazing clock speed powered by mediatek.

I got a Galaxy Tab A9 Plus few days ago from Amazon, and it is great. Note that if you get the Kids Edition Pack you get 3 Crayon Styluses. I like the battery life with it, definitely better than the Onn tablet I had.
Rather confusing to call it the "A9+" when it's more than 2" bigger than the A9 and pretty much everything that matters on the inside being different. Then again, Samsung's never been known for naming their products sensibly. :P
both have ufs 2.2 and performs similarily as well, and storage options seems to be 64/4 or 128/8
i do think they could’ve done something like lenovo, make it like 9 inch with symmetrical bezels to avoid confusion, like lenovo tab m9 and lenovo tab p11

Apple does the same thing with their phones. 15 and 15 pro have different processors, chargers, cameras, almost everything is different. So you can't just blame samsung here
I was thinking the name was confusing because the + in Samsung naming seems to usually refer to a 12.4" tab (like with the tab S9 FE+ and the tab S9+). Still, though it IS bigger than the A9...
I just picked this up for 159 usd! (Smallest memory). I'm replacing a Galaxy Tab S2 so it's lightyears better than what I had. Dex is amazing even as a table, but it handles a mouse and keyboard pretty well.

I almost bought this at my country the 8gb 128gb version for 266$. I was going to order it online but decided to go to the store and check it out and when I did the first thing I noticed is how horrible the screen is compared to the S9 FE. The colors on the A9+ seeing it on person were really washed out and I was shocked how good the FE screen compared to it. I decided aginst buying it and will wait for the S9 fe price to drop because currently it's stupidity expensive.
I really wish samsung would sell the better versions of these tabs everywhere, for curiosity sake where are you from? Here in Brazil they only sell the 64gb storage and 4gb ram version which really annoys me because 8gb of ram would be perfect

Budget Tablest are all about compromises.. not about good specs, A9+ is the best budget Tab Samsung released in past 5 years xD
The bright side is.. A9+ & S9 FE are 90% similar in performance (CPU).. S9 FE have better screen, S Pen, & bigger battery
For 2x price gab.. A9+ is better value.. especially if U want avg Tab experience like watching movies or browsing

OK, serious question: The keyboard you show in the video with the yellow slot, the smaller of the two you have listed: on Amazon it says it fits up to a 10" tablet, but this one is 11", yet it fits perfectly in your video. I'd like to order the smaller one in the video from Amazon, but not sure - can you clarify for me please? (and thanks) (on the Amazon reviews, some say yes, some say no about it fitting - help?) Amazon owners say that slot on the keyboard is only 10.5" long??? how does your 11" tablet fit? I want it to fit, but ???????
I just figured it out all by myself! (in case anybody was interested) The 11" measurement on the tablet is a DIAGONAL measurement - duh me, the actual length of the tablet is 10.12 inches. so, it will fit in the Logitech keyboard that is 10.5 inches long.

Kind of over priced. I got the lenovo p11 gen 2 for $217 with the pen on prime day. Other then dex and probably more os updates, I'm still happy with my choice. Strange that this has quad speakers and the fe versions have only dual speakers.
S9 FE's speakers are higher quality

i dont reccomend you a pen cuz this tab doesnt support S pen so others are trash they can damage ur tab's screen

I'll be buying an s6 lite for my daughter soon to replace her Amazon tablet. She is very artistic and wants the pen. I'm looking at the base A9 for my son. The performance seems similar between the two with the A9 performing better with games.

It should have a record pause button because Android has it natively, but hopefully SamSung did not take it out.

That all depends on price and what you will use for. The A9 plus has far better battery life, more options for Bluetooth, possibly better sound quality given the speakers support Dolby Atmos. SD card support for storage up to 1tb. The Air has no SD card also has notoriously bad battery life, one Bluetooth codec and no support for Dolby but you will get a more powerful processor and better screen. Support for the Air 4 is running out whereas the A9 has another 4 years.

If you're ok doing a bit of tech work yourself (downloading some apks and installing it after watching a video tutorial) then the Amazon fire HD 8s can't be beat for kids, they are so cheap that if they get broken it's easy to replace but also they are super durable.
My kids have been using them for years (8 and 6 now) and have only broken 1 of them. And at 70 dollars (prime day sale) to replace it was no big deal.
The only problem is they don't come with playstore, you have to do a little bit of work (about 30 minutes) watching a tutorial on how to install it.
sd 695 only supports 1080p video playback. That’s why it doesn’t support 2k or 4k !

I have a question, i just got this tab. But noticed, the off and on screen by touch 2 times. Only works when in hands. But when the tablet is lying flat, it doesnt work. Is that normal?

Surprised the battery is the same size. Battery life is probably the biggest issue with the A8.
i would only upgrade from the A8 if you can get the A9+ cheaper than normal price, not sure if you could sell your A8 or trade it in towards the A9+
@@FishBeeProductions thankfully today's the last day to return the a8, so can recoup that $ fully. And looks like the a9+ comes with a case right now so that helps even the playing field.
Thinking its probably worth it to get the extra years of updates since I don't upgrade often.
Currently have a sm-p580 10.1 16gb from 2017. So definitely need a new one.
