Additionally with the LCD with 90Hz refresh rate is a nice touch and the Dolby audio support. I wonder how long of a support this tablet gets.
Last year I bought a refurbished Samsung galaxy tab s8 plus and it's been great but I can see using this tablet for the basics so that's not a bad deal it might good for my nieces and nephew

the fact that it was TFT was the only thing worrying me , so I visited an actual store and saw the tablet up close , and that removed all my worries i ordered the 8/128 gb version and im just wating for it to arrive
It's awesome! Just pay $10 per month for the 5G service, and the tablet is free. It has actually gotten faster and more optimized after each update as opposed to iPad updates. It is the best tablet I have ever used.

Already very happy with my Tab A8, the Dolby Atmos sounds great, I use it mostly as my 'tv'. I wish it had a fingerprint scanner, because face unlock is flakey and a code or shape to unlock gets annoying quickly

It's a beautiful tablet and today I saw the 128gb version on Amazon for $209. I don't understand why Samsung left the camera lens protruding like it does. The tablet wouldn't lay flat without a case.
Well I just returned mine after 6 days, it had issues with multi finger tap, with 2 fingers the touch stops responding until you lift it and tap down again. It got worse progressively. reset didn't help

Brought this a couple hours ago. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet. I only use my S6 lite for youtubing, a couple games, and streaming movies and music. So the A9+ should do me just fine.
Do not buy a 4GB memory model unless you only want to use one app at a time. My Samsung tablet has 4GB of RAM, and when I switch the browser (FireFox) and another app like a PDF viewer, often browser tab gets refreshed, probably because the browser was unloaded to recover RAM. 4GB might sound enough but with all the bloatware of Samsung (even after you disable/uninstall everything you can), the available RAM is less than 1GB.

Viewing angles honestly are fine in my opinion. If you're not used to TFT displays which are displays that fade at certain angles...then I'd pick something else. But if you don't care about the best display then I can definitely recommend it. It's a nice display for TV shows but most websites will give you money back guaranteed if you're not satisfied. I just bought the A9+ and I cannot figure how to turn on DEX to mirror on my monitor. My Note 9 just plugs in with a USB C to HDMi without adjusting any settings.
I returned mine after only a few hours of using it. I only wanted it for media consumption but found it super glitchy, like it was struggling to perform basic tasks. Build and screen quality was nice though.
@@kingplayer321One is system memory,the other is storage. Good point. Storage can (under circumstances) replace (expand) ram but is always a compromise. As of today (2024) 8 Gb is mandatory RAM memory imho (phone,tablet,laptop). 8 gigs or more.

I don't think the keyboard is being released in the US either which makes that Smart Connector a mute point also unless it fits one of the other keyboards from a upper model but no mention of it anywhere.... They don't even advertise the Smart Connector. I believe the A9+ replaces the A8 and the A9 which is rumored for March will replace the A7 lite.
Id never even concider getting the 4gb ram version, its just not enough. I have the 4gb a8 and i wish there was an 8gb version, on the A9+ its only a couple of tenners more.

True it is a better device, however the $270 Tab A9 Plus has double the Ram and Storage of the $200-$250 base model Tab S6 Lite and a slightly faster processor with the Snapdragon 695.
this is better in every way then the s6 lite with the exception this does not have a s-pen it has more memory a better process 90 refresh rate better speakers also years of updates.. take this over the s6 lite..
It's so hard to get a good, inexpensive tablet with a sim (LTE or 5G) here. It's sucks. I wouldn't mind not having cellular data but I really need a tablet with a GPS chip and the LTE/5G tablets are the only ones that have them. So doesn't look like this A9+ has that option either.
