I agree. The ride to the river and learning the history of the area was a highlight of the adventure.
Our group of 14 loved this tour in May of 2022. We have done many of the activities on Kauai during our 26 days on the island spread over two separate trips, and this was our third favorite, behind the helicopter tour (#1) and the catamaran to Napali coast (#2). It was a real treat to see this video on Christmas. Thank you for sharing it!

I did this tour before and did wear a long sleeve rash guard, glad I did because I was chilled in the water. I changed into dry clothes after the tour and lunch and felt very comfortable for the open truck ride back. I would suggest to have sunscreen, towel and dry clothing like top and shorts in a backpack that you can change into.
We were there about 3years ago and it was an amazing time. If you have the chance to do this adventure, highly recommended

Nice vid! I am planning to visit kauai with a 4x4 camping truck. But I am wondering if I have to camp on « official » camping spots (parks and county) of if its possible to spend a night in the back country, like on the side of a small offroad trail for instance.. can you help me find out?

Love the Jungle Cruise jokes 😂😂. We almost booked this tour in 2019 but hesitated because we weren't sure our youngest would be scared at the time. This looks like so much fun and a must do on our next trip to Kauai.
My wife and I did the zip line tour with this company in 2006. I don’t remember the tubing being that popular back then. It’s good to know that it has become so popular now.

Thanks for review. As a fat man I discovered that a Chinese laborer in the 1800’s did not care about lumps of rock coming off of wall. I was in a small tube and I was constantly turning around and around hitting my helmet quite hard off the rocks. 😮
It was amazing to look at the pick axe groves so close together. I like history so it was a unique experience. All part of Hawaii history. ❤
