Thanks Adam. I included a bit more tech talk and explanation in this one but didn’t know if people just wanted to see shiny things being made so thanks for the feedback.
I’m not really going to be able to help you. I get 1 or 2 hours a week in the workshop so my current project is going to take about a year to finish. Then the next one is lined up after that. Try a local engineering shop, or ask on an engineering forum.
Right era but this one was a model car with working engine, steering, gearbox, and rear differential. I guess they could have used the same parts in a tractor ? . . . it is lego after all. Got it down out of the loft just for the demo !
@@routercnc9517 Hi, yeah yeah i think you are the only one so far to get that connection! Did you watch it at all? nice one! but really i ment like with all your skills and talent and all the equipment at hand i would have made one from scratch? Instead of modifying one? Anyway, take care mate and have a great day!PS, id luv to work in a place like you was in! I don't know anyone that has a lathe at hand and I luv working with them! Have they got any jobs going there? lol! Take care
@@ArnaldRimmer I watched Red Dwarf when it originally came out, but I've not watched it since so can't remember much except it was a great series. Anyway, take care and all the best.
Doesn't want to chop the front so he builds a custom diff instead... I love channels like this
Sorry, can't help myself. Also, the welder fund is still some way off target (and approval !)

@@routercnc9517 lol didnt expect a reply.
Oh, ok sorry about that! Are you UK based? There are lots of engineering forums like practical machinist that might offer some help.
Great work brother.. Would you make and sell a rear differential for me to buy from you?? If so, how much??
Thanks for asking but this is just a hobby for me and I’m not able to make custom parts for people. Thanks
Ok no problem.. Can you send me the specs so i can have a shop make one for me??

you should say building an open differential, that's not an axle... misleading Title
