I want a shop, this is nice... Until then I just keep building solid body electric guitars in my apt... For a while I had a drill press on my coffee table, A portable work bench in my living room. Tear down paint booths. But you know what? They all turn out beautiful. It's addicting and I love the satisfaction of DIY... The sad thing about this COVID-19 is... I have all the time in the world right now to build new guitars, but no money to do it. But I'll be back to work soon, then I can return to feeding my addiction... I know this is 3 yrs old, but I just want to say thanks!
I know you! I’m in a 14’ wide mobile home. Covid 2020 got me totally back into lutherie, so much, I’m redesigning the end-kitchen area into a shop. Kitchen moves to the present bathroom; bath moves to the small spare room. Rather have a workshop that a 2nd bedroom, right?
Super nice looking and well designed workshop. I am currently building a work bench and trying to decide a good height for setting up guitars, soldering pickups, changing Pots, etc. I don't build guitars, but like to do basic setup work and wiring as mentioned. I am 5'10" tall and prefer to stand up while I work with no excessive bending over both to save on back fatigue/pain and a good height so I can see what I am working on very well... Would you have a recommendation for a good height? Thanks and super nice workshop you have.... Phil
I've wrestled with this for ages, and suffered damage from a few "falls". What a great idea, thanks.
I learned the hard way too :) This has been a huge stress reducer for me and keeps my guitars safe and sound, glad you found it helpful!
Really cool idea for storage while working on multiple instruments at one given time. Thanks for taking the time to make the video and to share it.
Thanks Tomy, so glad you enjoyed it!

Great idea sir! Thanks for sharing. I will have to try to stop by and say hi the next time I’m in the Lou.
Very cool, nice and organized! Thanks for sharing bro 🎸🎸👍
Is it just the drawer, that's your buffer to humidity and temp changes or did you build seals, ventilation, and humidity control into it?
thank you
Super nice looking and well designed workshop.
