Mean Mate. I’m looking at similar set up except I’m getting the 4495 headers. One thing I always do when replacing headers is to knock those frost plugs out on the block and replace with Brass frost plugs. Specially if they are originals. Chances are the heat internally and the heat from the exhaust seem to deteriorate that side often first to start leaking. But great set up. Thanks for the know how😎🤙
just fitted these extractors quite easily without removing the steering column lift them on a high angle and slide them right in just the water hoses at the back have to be pushed to side as it goes in
@@TRAV30387 i just made a 100cpi cat section that bolts to the stock rear for now and it sounds alright surprisingly no engine lights on and it has a decent crackle too it when backing off but it's missing that deeper note a full 2.5" catback would have.

Now I can hear a ticking coming from the engine and there’s a weird smell from the exhaust I don’t know if that because it new and doesn’t have a carbon layer in the pipe yet and everyone told me that the engine light would come on but it’s been 2 days and nothing is that a later ok thing
I always thought extractors are more about making more power and usually better fuel efficiency rather than just how they sound? The sportier sound is a welcome bonus. Do you have any dyno numbers?

Hey man yer cool unfortunately you have 2 cylinders short of a v8 just not going to happen you can put different cams in the barra to get the lump with a good exhaust system will sound tough just not 8 tough

Tbh with ya, it still sounds like a Japanese car. The Barra engine might be a bloody good engine, but it's hard to make it sound mean. I've literally bend over backwards to make it sound at least acceptable, i mean, almost anything, it still sounds too smooth.
I’ve got a stock cat on mine and I’ve found has a deeper note than other falcons with high flow cats. Also competition headers like the pacemaker 4495 give a slightly different note than most other headers because they are equal length.
Mate there's no point with a turbo on the street. Pointless,useless to have all that power, can't use it?? stick with n/a, just focus on torque and 0-60km/h..
$1700 I have a better obnoxious sound than you when I put my foot down it was Raws stock system 3 inch resonator all mufflers removed at the end have an x force hotdog muffler oooh fuck cheapest and a bit better then everything out I’ve listed to

Those two bolts at the manifold can break really easy. And that's where the std exhaust always bloody leaks if you scrape your exhaust.

The ticking im not sure of but the smell is normal mine did aswell burning in and my engine light is on but doesn't effect it

Does the ecu need modification? I thought changing position of 02 sensor would throw up fault codes? Engine light?
Nope its fine no issues
Generally the ecu will tune itself, if you want a good power bump out of it you would need it tuned properly, otherwise it shouldn’t cause a problem

Put a turbo on it. The 4l barra is a formidable engine to contened with opposed to the 2j 1j and rb the barra has definitely set its own title
