Walk through Kumartuli artisans district, Birla temple, Birla planetarium, Victoria memorial, Dakshineshwar temple and Belur Math by ferry, College street bookwalk and coffeehouse..you'll love it! If you are in these type of situation where you need the Internet urgently. You can just ask anyone for hotspot. Probably the can driver could have helped. Another thing is that you could turn on international roaming on your native sim card. That will be a little expensive but it will serve the purpose for urgent situations as you guys travel so much.

Yellow taxies are very iconic here in Kolkata, he took 300 rupee extra! It could be settled in 600 or 650 for 26kms! And he took maa flyover so its took little time for going over south! White taxies are the worst of them! In Gariahaat you will find Koshe kosha, and for biriyani you will find TANDOOR house! He have no idea about food here in kolkata!
