    Love your vids and content guys, but come on. We all know 240y 150mph ball speed is NOT your normal numbers with TS3 Bumblebee. On the other fitting vids, we saw 280 carry. So its really not 40 yard gains, no chance. And the yellow shaft and the Hzrdus Smoke are basically identical, but for a little counterbalance. So you can use your Yellow shaft no problem, its identical to the Black one as far as high kick, low torque, tip stiff feel low launch. The Hzrdus Yellow Hand Craft is basically just a color preference (and if white is your thing, that discontinued EvenFlow White is also similar).
    All in all the TSi is probably more stable and much better sound, but the differences arent monumental. TS3 is still a beast. 240 carry my ass, love you guys. Enjoy the clubs!

    There is no way he could have been fitted for his own TS3, 4500 - 5600 spin rate with his driver. The vast majority of the gained distance came from the reduction in spin rate. 5600 spin rate is 5 - 7 Iron spin. Come on guys 👎🏾🤦🏾‍♂️

    108 -110 MPH Club head speed and your carry was 230 yards? Dude take the head cover off !!! who fit you for the TS3 ? Hilarious. All I see if that you got fitted and you started hitting the center of the club face.

    Think it’s a bit of a joke from titleist again
    Bringing out tsi 2/3 respective and fitting people into them then in a few months down the line they’re bringing out tsi1/4 which may be better suited to players they’ve already fitted into 2/3! Poor form titleist!!!!

  • @erikcrossley5048

    How did you get fit for a driver that spins over 5000??? How were you even playing that and loving it? How that wasn't the first thing the fitter pointed out is beyond me. You would have got at least 30 more yds with a better shaft.

    I agree: get fitted...WITH DIFFERENT BRANDS!!!
    So you optimized your best shaft/head combo FOR ONE BRAND. Now you do the same with the other drivers on the market, then swing those and check the numbers. THAT is how one gets fitted for a driver. Almost playing your viewers to be morons.
    I get it though if you’re in bed with titleist. It’s the nature of the game.

    My first impressions of the driver was...
    "Oh just another Driver head" and I was always a believer in the shaft being the motor, and changing the shaft is what changes your distances.
    But I must admit watching the video I am impressed by how just changing to the TSI head changed the speed numbers that much along with the distance changes! Very good way of showing off the new Tietlist drivers guys....u got me looking into them!

    Mike what happened to driving the "bumble bee" 300 yds uphill??? That was at the last fitting... If you've lost that many yards in a year then it's your swing... not the club.

    • @Golficity
      @Golficity  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My swing has gotten a lot steeper over the past year and my swing path has me swinging more inside out that usual. I took a lesson which ok going to share here next Thursday where I learn to attack the ball at a positive angle and stop coming side spinning the ball. That’s really knocked a lot my distance down. - Mike

    All these companies have the exact same guidelines to make a clubhead. You CANNOT make a "faster" driver. You can however, get fitted, which can get you many yards. A driver from 5 year ago to a new one now is negligible.

      Yeah but he was fitted for his previous driver. A 111 chs to 210yrds there’s something wrong.... 4500 spin??? That must have been a poor strike - this wasn’t surely his “standard shot”?

  • @johnstone5377
    @johnstone5377 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ok guys. So I just came back from my driver fitting. Compared my G400 LST to Sim/Mav SZ and the TSI 3. Have to say, the TSI 3 was absolute bananas. The feel/sound is what I first noticed. It sounds like a carbon head driver. Felt/sounds like butta. The ball speed retention and increase was +3-5mph. Carry was 268 avg. compared to 257yds with my Ping. I definitely will be ordering it in a few weeks.

  • @lindsaynewell6319
    @lindsaynewell6319 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    really nice insight into a quality fitting experience. I just got fit to replace 15yo Cleveland Launcher 10.5 but didn't see this video before my fit. Shortlist was G425max, SIM2 max and Epic max but went in with an open mind. Fitter added TSi2 to the mix and it won easily on the numbers. 93 clubhead, 130 ball, 15-17 launch, 2200 spin, 220+ carry. 4 degree up attack angle meant I could go with 9 degree head, Tensei blue 55s in A1 setting. Loving it on the range and one round so far. Forgiveness is excellent but I'm also consistently finding the middle of the face and avoiding my old diving toe hook 50 yards left (which was mostly due to regular shaft having too much flex when my transition gets quick).

    I own a Titleist fitted TS3 8.5 +2g PX T1100 65g 6.0 shaft, and it's awesome - but having a hard time imagining 40 yard carry and I have the 105-110 speed just like Mike. Hopefully Titleist Thursdays comes back to my area and I'll validate ... but, if I'm honest - I'm skeptical.

    Can't even watch this stuff... If you are spinning a driver 4.5k+, it's all your fault. Just changing from a fitted TS3 to a TSi3 isn't going to drop 2k+ spin... it might be a fine driver, but misleading videos like this is just crap...

    Got fit for the TSI3 Friday. Gained about 10-12 in carry with the same shaft as my TS3. Biggest jump was with fairway though where I picked up almost 20 yards in carry! Unfortunately those numbers came from a Ventus shaft which is like a $400 upcharge 🤑

    Wished I had gotten a pro fitting when I bought my tsi3. I’m definitely going pro fitting with my next Titleist driver and woods. My tsi3 isn’t quite as long as my sim1 but the consistency with the tsi3 is all the difference in the world. After doing my homework, I really think the tsr line (I’d prefer the 3) with whatever head and shaft the fitter went with, would be a huge upgrade.

    Just got fitted for the TSi3, and in short, it blew my mind. I hit it last, and it wasn't even on my short list of clubs that I was shopping for. But after hitting the Epic, Rad, G425, and Sim2, I went on to the TSi3 to find the feel, and numbers I was looking for. Keep in mind that I had hit about 80 shots before I got to the Titleist and I was starting to get wore out. But my ball speed was still the best with the Titleist even after 100+ shots. Can't wait to see what numbers I can get when I'm not tired.

    Guys all the latest drivers say the same stuff , different aero space materials , artificially intelligent designed faces , they are all governed by CT testing , no ones going any faster than another or the baseline , they are all as close as they can get . It’s just looks and feels and sounds and what you prefer , all the new drivers are almost infinitely adjustable to dial in a ball flight and spin rates with weighting options . The driver is the single most changed club in the bag because everyone’s chasing the holy grail of driver distance and the marketing of these bigger brand companies know it , remember not long ago very few people drove past 300 yards and they still played golf in sub par rounds every week . There is no magic fix or driver to smashing bombs to impress your mates , if you want to be hitting like Bryson you need to do what he does and spend all day in the gym , simple as that . No one could out drive tiger back in the day and he was the only one in the gym , now everyone is in there. Technology is maxed with balls and drivers with CT limits , you can’t do much more with irons they’re already making irons that 7 irons go over 200 with stronger lofts . We all need a lesson in marketing so we don’t believe everything we are told anymore , much like politicians they all say they will do everything until they are elected .

    I’m a big Titleist fan. I’m oh edge to get fitted for my new Titleist driver! I’m playing the TS3 9.5.

    I'm gonna catch hate for this, but it would have to be a badass driver to replace my wilson staff Triton. It works great for me. Alot of folks don't like them but I crush it.

    Surely the golfer is the engine . . . shaft the transmission, the club is the tyres, the ball is the bug on the windshield

    Gaming the ts3 for the last 4 month and honestly can say this is the best and longest driver i have ever used. Always been a callaway driver fan but the mavrick drivers couldn't get close to my ts3 for some reason. That tsi3 is possibly the best looking and sounding driver i have ever seen and i for one can't wait to demo this 👌

    I really like the look of the driver. I play the TS2 currently to which I got fit. It would be interesting to see if the TSi improves my shots.

    I think the sound of the TSi3 is way better then the TSi2. I’ve always struggled with to much spin and would love to get a fitting win or no win.

    I love the look of the tsi3, that is a sweet looking driver. Not a fan of the look of the tsi2. Haven't tried either, I game the ts3 now, never know the tsi2 might end up being right for me.
