Just picked up a SIM this week after being absolutely floored at the numbers I was getting. Store only had one X-Stiff shaft left, and it was the HZDRS 70G. I’ve never swung a club so smoothly to start hitting 170-180 ball speed. Took it to the range for the first time today and it was night and day from my old driver, in terms of dispersion. Gotta hand it to TM, their R&D Team hit a knock-out with this one. Although, I’m gonna be reeling for a while from that price tag 😖 Bloody expensive game!

The price of new drivers is off the planet. For the 'possibility' of maybe scoring a little better for an amateur golfer like me. Would either of those drivers help, absolutely compared to the $100, 20 year old knockoff i have now. But when it comes to scoring I usually outplay my buddies with my driver and $70 Ben Hogan forged irons, and 1970s blade putter compared to their $2000 clubs. Let's face it I'm not nor are they joining any tour soon 😁 That being said, 2021 I'm getting more serious lol about my play and entering more tournaments because of where I'm now living, and the longer season. As your psychiatrist, I advise you to play the TSi3. If you're in a tournament you don't want your SIM potentially spinning 1277 and hitting the ball 27y left of center to get that magical 368y. That's cute and impresses the girls, but you need to play golf. And that is not tournament golf. You didn't know where that drive was going as you began the downswing. No more square peg in round hole. Play the TSi3 for the 💰

Its a REALLY hard sell to tell me you're "sacrificing" strength using Carbon Fiber. As an avid F1 and Indycar fan, I know how strong it is. Hell, wheels are made from them, all kinds of things needing huge strength and lightness. That just sounds like they want to be different and thats their marketing for that excuse/reason.

I'm in the TSI3. Came down to SIM and it but SIM was just a bit too low spin for my swing. Few too many dive bombers. I'm now seeing if the TSI fairway can knock out the SIM 5 wood in my bag. A dubious proposition for sure...

I HAD all Taylormade in my bag, threw them all out and replaced with Titleist TSi3 driver, fairway and hybrids.

Looks shit, sounds shit. @peterfinchgolf , do you ever plan to reply to the comments you ask us to make? I like your videos, I like your content, I like your charisma.
However (you knew it was coming), I don't really agree with your opening statement that most tour players are using it. 99% of your audience are not tour players, or pros, like yourself, therefore, not really good candidates for your recommendation that you put it in your bag and we will follow.
Most bloggers advocate a fitting (of course, where you can make some money) yet you promote so many different clubs and brands and brag how good they are (for you).
Your Chanel is real, yet your message recently, is not. In play Cobras,I didn't get fitted, I enjoy them, I'm not good at golf, but I still enjoy playing and enjoy your content.
Might be time to consider your audience more than yourself. Unless, that is, that it's not what your channel is about.
Listing interest in always recommending the same top end stuff everyone else is recommending and reviewing.
If you ask for comments, reply to them all. Otherwise, stop it.

361 368 and 364 in the same group of 5 Pete. I think it’s more than clear to say that The SIM stays in the bag. For me that’s a Standard Drive and a decent 7i, before we’d even arrive at your ball.

Good numbers for sure, but in comparison, any drive with 1500 rpm of backspin is going to fall out of the sky. Good for launch monitors but on the course is garbage. Ball speed numbers and carry are ideal here. Good vid!

Still using a TaylorMade R9 at about 9 degrees but using a shaft from an R11 3 wood and cranking it out to about 290 average 💪🏼😜

You cannot compare those spin numbers because the SIM had a spin rate of 940 - obvious misread, if you omit that result the spin rates are 2008 vs. 1898. Not much in it there.

your a powerhouse👍, golf clubs are like cars, bmw or mercedes, both nice, both fast, my own opinion is Titleist are just bland and £520, Prefer callaway and tailormade or even ping before titleist, a little more bling wouldnt hurt titleist, traditional for 50 years just doesnt cut it anymore

It’s an interesting thing the SIM driver touts regarding aerodynamics. It’s by far the worst idea for a club for the average player and great for a player. Do you really want a 20 handicapper who swings the club offline more than not to make that misdricting swing to go faster? An inaccurate swing going faster. Yeah, great idea.

Hey Pete you should do a video with a long drive champion and see if they can get you sending a ball 400yds 🏌️ with drives like that I don't think you'll struggle!
