Love that your showcasing these custom figures. Because of your videos I ordered and just received my first custom from Keepers Kustoms. Thank you for expanding the universe.
Never too many creatures for the Cantina. These were some good additions as well. They definitely look really good in the display too. Super cool additions. Wuher!!!!!
@@GQJedi I don't have any of The Next 17 custom figures in my collection yet, but after seeing these, I'm thinking that's going to have to change. My Cantina needs these guys, especially Wuher.
Yes, Wuher! We definitely should've gotten a Wuher figure in the original Kenner line. All of the other figures in this video are awesome too. By the way, it's become a tradition that I watch the latest GQ Jedi video on Saturday mornings after working all night.
Cool figures, and I love the design on this new kind of robe. They have really managed to catch the feeling and essence of the original figs. I saw T.P:s take on the other figures from this line, and immediately thought of a Vader with this kind of cape 🙂 And a great nod to the original line with the blacked out figures, esp the one done with markers, cause if I am not mistaken, this was exactly what Kenner did back in the days (painting out figures by hand)
Thanks for putting up this video. Your collection and customs urge me to get out there and purchase from these creators. I’m waiting until January so I can order all those figures at once. Because they come from the Netherlands, it’s cheaper to get them all at once or else I pay more in customs fees. I hope there are still some left by then.
I could not agree more. It's a great time to be a vintage Star Wars collector. Make sure to check out Part 1 of the Cantina Review if you haven't already :)
It says on my end that you posted your first comment 5 mins ago. Is that true? Asking because TH-cam is being weird and not showing me the correct data this morning on this video. Thanks!
Hey GQ, I asked SW Obsessed this the other day and he said he'd give it some thought, perhaps for another video...can I get your thoughts? So, I was wondering...was watching Pawn Stars the other day, they had this old sheet metal Donald Duck wind-up toy from the 1930's, and the guy wanted 2 grand for it, but of course, the PROBLEM with that, is that MOST of the people for whom this would be a memorable toy to collect, or re-collect?...Are seriously paring down their spending, or ...well...dead. Not to be morbid, but I’ve been thinking about this aspect of collecting for quite a long time, and I was wondering if you could touch on it in a video, cuz Id like to hear your perspective... Im not a MAJOR collector...mostly just a few items that fill a wall...PPG Buttercup, Harley Quinn, GIJoe Baroness, and MASKED Imps...(Stormie, Sandy, Snowie, AT-AT, TIE Pilot, and Imp Gunner ONLY...you gotta FOCUS or else you will be poor), but I know there are some content creators that have some pretty substantial collections....and well...I know >I< collected what I did cuz I wanted to have what I couldn't have as a KID, or cuz what is there NOW is so f-ing cool...(Black Series, or Buttercup!). I also know my poor Mom has all these ceramic tea cups and figurines, that you just cant GIVE away now....My buddy worked in a pawn store, and every day someone brought in a silver spoon set that they thought would be priceless...and shocked to learn that they are only worth the spot price of silver that day... I just have a feeling one day Im going to try to sell my meagre stuff for cat food money...and the kid at the counter will say, "Nobody WANTS your little space-fascist army-dudes, old man!!...Don't you have any Fizz-Dingle Whirly Balls, or Electric Jump Island Play figures?..THAT'S what all the COOL kids want!!!" I think I know your (the) answer..Don't collect for re-sale..collect cuz you love something... But I was wondering if you might have anything else to say on this. Have a chill day.
Hey bud! Great question. Have you seen this video? th-cam.com/video/gWvACP-kG1A/w-d-xo.html - I touch on this subject a bit in this video. But you already know my answer.
@@GQJedi His outfit is wrong. It should be a tan/white, plus he had bare, clawed feet and not boots. I got one from Funky McClunkey and had Keepers Customs paint him up like in the film.

It is my pleasure to share my findings with fellow collectors. Congrats on your first Keeper's Kustoms figure. Which figure did you order?
@@GQJedi grabbed a BoShek. Can’t wait to order a few more. He does great work. I love this new aspect of collecting.

Nope. You’re right. The more aliens the merrier. Beyond stoked to have Wuher!!!

I highly recommend picking them up. They’re awesome looking in the cantina. Hope N17 makes more aliens/characters.

Yes. I agree. Cloth soft goods are the best! I champion their use at every opportunity.
Wuher: Make it a double!
Exactly! LOL
These are sweet! I think they should include the Tonnika sisters in their next wave.
I agree. They are pretty rad! Stan Solo is actually producing his version of the Tonnika Sisters and I am very much looking forward to those.
Love them all especially hermi ! He is a tank!!
They’re all pretty sweet. Stoked that N17 decided to make them. Hermi is a tank! 👊🏻

You're welcome, Patrick! Happy to share. I hope you can score the set when you're ready!
Long live the Next 17! May it become the Next 99!
I hope they continue on as well. I love adding more vintage style figures to my Kenner collection!
@@GQJedi Yes, will be interesting to see where Graham goes next in the OT canon!
Yessir! Can't wait!
Fantastic ! I just got my Wuher and the doctor !
Awesome! I love both of those figs.
Sweet. Gotta get the bartender!!!
Highly recommend Wuher!
I shall do my best to attend. MTFBWY.

some pretty cool figures.
Right? They look good in the cantina.
Tonica Twins should be next.
I think you’re thinking of Stan Solo. These figures are from the Next 17.
Cool Stuff 😊❤
Next 17 is making some much needed action figures!

@@GQJedi Thanks!!!!
The Wuher is the first of the Next 17 that would fit in with the vintage figures
Hem Dazon and Wuher are my personal favorites from this line! Super jazzed to get a bartender. Crazy that Kenner put out a Cantina with no bartender.
@@GQJedi your cantina looks great, it really captures the crowded bustling feel of the movie
Thanks, Dude!! Appreciate it. It’s one of my favorite displays.
It only took 43 years
LOL
Wolfman ain't the one shown on the cantina shot
I think you're referring to the Special Editions where he was removed. I could be wrong.
