Just a minor correction, the pixel size is in um or micro meters. Nanometers are 1000x smaller and are close to the size of atom scale.
Oops, that's more than a minor mistake ☹️ Not sure why I didn't catch the fact that a pixel isn't half the with of a human hair.

I'm looking at getting the Mono 6Ks - one big pro thats not mentioned here, Anycubic printers allow you to test multiple exposure settings in one print. That is, you can print 8 calibration models at various exposures in one go!

Thanks so much for this in-depth comparison as I'm tossing up buying either the Creality or Anycubic printer. I have a traditional 3D printer but am only now venturing into resin printing so your straightforward, non-tech explanations help immensely... though I'm still tempted to buy both just because... ;)
The resin pump on the Halot Mage Pro is a lifesaver for loading resin. No more spills - just smooth and efficient printing.
The Halot Mage Pros early bird price had me sold. Its a real bang for the buck, and Im eagerly waiting for my confirmation email.
I recently upgraded from the PhotonS to the Mono X 6Ks. The fine printing is way better than I am use to. However, the are things I love the PhotonS and wish the 6 Ks had. I may be getting a little picky, but here are the things I think the older PhotonS was better with over the 6 Ks:
1) The PhotonS had the square arm bar. I could the build plate 90 degrees and put it back on. This let the extra resin on the build plate drip down(fairly fast) into the resin pan. You can't do that with the 6 Ks. Maybe I can make an arm attachment to do this again.
2) The 6 Ks build plate top is fairly flat compared to the PhotoS's. The steeper build plate top on the PhotonS helped the resin drip off into the pan below.
3) I miss the three fixed sides and lift-up front on the PhotonS. The 6 Ks top has to be set aside somewhere and I don't have a lot of room.
4) The resin pan hold down screws on the 6 Ks are a pain, since you need to completely unscrew them to get the pan out versus just loosening them up on the PhotonS.
Just picked up the halot mage 8k for only 200 from amazon. I was just seconds away from buying the anycubic 6k for 270 when I saw it and with a discount code I found online I got the creality large cure and wash station too. All in for only 350. Cant wait for them to get here.

@@onemansvideos2134 Yeah but I haven't had the chance to use them yet. Look nice and feel good though. I looked around a lot and I don't this you can do better on the price to quality unless you go to a smaller screen. I am used to FDM printers so 10 inches or more for resin was a must.

Overall, it looks like a fantastic printer for both beginners and experienced users. Im seriously considering getting one!
I started with the Creality LD-002H and then a Halot One, but I ran to the Mono 6Ks when I moved into a larger format. I've had success after success with it for both minis and functional engineering parts. And, I chose Lychee and opted for the Pro license to get access to all of Lychee's advanced settings. You're right about both being great, but I just didn't have the room for something as large as the Mage 8K. My go to resins are Anycubic and Siryatech.
Haven't you had problems with lychee in 6ks? I don't like workshop very much

Hello I bought a 6ks and was wondering what slicer do you use? I've tried the photon workshop and chitubox but both crash while saving the sliced file and just wanted to know
always satisfy with my ender 3v3 se, as it can provides all I needs. but I think the Creality Halot mage 8k can be my next advanced one.

Have the Halot Mage… at first I was frustrated by print errors… but once I started using the Halotbox slicer and changed a defective FEP… it’s been phenomenal

My Ender 3 has lost its luster and I've been looking at new printers. Resin's mess is still a little offputting but I think if the Creality one drops in price over the Holidays, I'll grab that and give it a try.
Guess what? The creality one's dropped in price. By a LOT.
Printing with the Halot Mage Pro has its software quirks, but thats a small price for the exceptional print quality it delivers.

Im a fan of Creality and I have to say that Halot Mage Pros hardware features are real winners. The carbon filter and resin pump add practicality to the printing process.

Its not suprise for halot mage is the best seller in Amazon for its affordable price and amazing 8k tech....
Those carbon filters only remove odour not all the dangerous volatile organic compounds that are hazardous to health. So not much of an advantage one printer having one.
Then how would you explain the carbon filters in my Niosh certified respirator? Activated carbon does remove VOCs. You’ve been misinformed.
