Many times the ICP comes with a replacement pigtail! Also I removed the big cover off the top of the engine permanently, I believe it holds heat and contributes to the deterioration of wiring and connectors long after you turn your engine off! Noticed my glo plug relay connector boots were falling apart and I thought that cover holds heat !

Im going to need to go through mine. Did bunch of work to my 99 with changing seals, cups, injectors etc.. now im getting a p1316 code. Think cylinder 1 has a code short after i do buzz test.
Did your truck start kinda shaking if you gave it throttle around 40 to 55 but if you made it go into overdrive it would stop? I’m thinking I could have the same issue here.
i’m having a dead miss, i think i’m not sure it all of the sudden happened, newer stage 1 injectors, i just did the new connector for the valve cover gasket and i also did a brand new valve cover gasket, it still has a miss, what is thay random silver wire? i just cut it down and put a wire nut on it but this is driving me crazy this truck is my daily, should i keep cutting down and see if there is an open wire? passenger rear clip melted and replaced both and still runs like shit, HELP!

I had a China icp in my 99 7.3. For 3yrs. Cuz money was tight. I guess its hit n miss. Finally replaced with oem. Kept China in glove box.

Any idea what that exposed wire running in the harness is for? And why it is exposed. I have the same on my truck and that seems weird to me.
