Breakthrough, ego death... the craziest feeling with a new perception of life. It all kicked in from shrooms after dealing with a terrible loss in my family. But once this happens everyone will be there to guide you through. Everyone is already part of you!

i must have this. I've been addicted to opiates since I was 25 years old and been on methadone for the past 10.
I no longer have the need for methadone but they didn't tell me that it was much much more addictive than heroin and that no matter how small my daily doses become I'm still faced with 30 days of hellish withdrawals. At 62 I don't think I can deal with it, I could end up like Gerry Garcia, DEAD. Ibogaine could be the answer.
I've experienced many LSD trips of heroic quantities so there's no irrational fear of hallucinogens, been there done that. Just don't want to leave this Earth while still addicted.

Wish I had the chance to kick opiate with Iboga. Down to 2 mg of suboxone after almost two years of being on this shit without one doctor interested in getting me off of it. A new Dr came to the clinic and I went from 8mg to 2 mg in the matter of two months. I want to be off suboxone by Christmas as a gift to myself.

I locked myself in my room a couple years ago while on a high dose of lsd. It was a very cold that night and my apartment at the time would get quite cold so I put a bunch of sweaters and a big puffy jacket on, turned on my space heater, set up 4 wireless speakers, one on each corner of the bed, turned on Buddhist monks chanting, and then got under my blankets. One of my last thoughts before I left my body was that with the all jackets, blankets,!and the space heater I felt like I was a big cosmic egg.
Once I shed my physical self I went on a super crazy trip guided by these kindly androgynous aliens and at one point they showed me a giant brain/jellyfish thing thing that was cosmic entity that we and all things that ever were and will be are a physical manifestations off. It was a pretty fucking crazy Tuesday.

@@QUINTUSMAXIMUS I knew as if it were verified fact that I was dying on the first trip. Was delusion obviously but it was my reality at the time. I went in under a tremendous amount of stress in my life (thought everything in my life was collapsing) to the point where my bed was soaked every night, lost weight quick, etc. The first trip righted that and also knocked out nicotine cravings. Hard to describe the second trip but it was also no picnic. It’s as if my brain was deprogrammed and defragged or something. I came out with a different perspective on reality altogether. Some people say they reconnected with their soul, where I would say it was more of a reintroduction. I saw myself as a child and felt like I abandoned that kid or something. It’s hard to put into words but it’s giving me goosebumps just writing this and remembering. I definitely want to do it again to try to get to the bottom of some of that. These substances are tools that can help us understand / learn what we already know deep down inside, I think we’ve just been trained and programmed to think different.

My son and I went here around 2015 because he was addicted to heroin. What is really important to understand is that iboga is not going to free you from an addiction like magic. What it does is two main things: 1. It frees you from the intense physical withdrawal symptoms of heroin so you don't have that obstacle in your way from getting clean and 2. It increases your self awareness and openness to a different realm where answers and guidance are available. These are huge benefits, however, if you still have unhealed childhood trauma or some other core reason you started using drugs in the first place you still have to deal with those or you will relapse. Sadly, my son did relapse and die in 2016.

funny thing with the whole universe heartbeat thing, theres actually a theory, i don't remember where i found it but theres a theory that the universe does that, where it explodes and keeps expanding and expanding, then it all just retracts back into a little tiny point in space and the big bang happens again and this goes on and on, obviously no one knows if this is true or not because the universe is still expanding but its interesting he saw that.

Not a big deal every space/universe enthusiasts has heard this theory of big crunch. The tiny detail he remembered while at his home in childhood is also a part of theory related to subconscious mind which states that our mind registers less important detail like the color of carpet in this case and stores it but we seldom get a chance to access that, Iboga exactly does that as per my understanding. I have my set of questions ready and saving money for this life changing experience which probably 5% people know about.

My point was to simply draw attention to the motivate of the comment. One who walks the path loses the need to be right. One of the 20 hard things buddha taught is that it is difficult not to feel disdain for someone with lower intellect. His choice of words show his egos intentions are malice. The same way my original comment was to showcase how im somehow superior because I am able to check my ego or something 😄

the part about the matter of the universe going through a cycle! I've always thought that if theres a big bang then there will be the biggest chunk that has the greatest gravitational pull ( Great Attractor ) and everything eventually gets pulled back to it and then big explosion again. The universe is breathing!

Books intellectually teach you. I've read shit loads on Iboga. However there is no substitute for direct experience. If you understand that it's you that creates then - great. But you're still gonna be afraid. Unless you've experienced it with every cell of your body. It's like if you read about surfing big waves you're still gonna shit a brick when you face one. However if you've grown up surfing, and experienced it with every cell of you're being, the fear will be mitigated. Same thing
