- A small video on how can you replace by yourself the spark plugs and the air filter on your Suzuki Hayabusa. Even though we are working on a 2005 model, the procedure is similar for all models from 1999 to 2007.
Very easy and simple, as long as you are able to loosen and tighten a few bolts!!!

Thanks for making this video...I have the same air filter...is that the type of air filter that I would need to clean? I was looking on the k&n website and the cleaning kits are for "oiled" air filters...I have no idea if thats an oil filter or not
Yes, this is the one! Buy a K&N oil filter cleaner kit to do the job. It should have two bottles in there. One is the cleaner, which you spray on the filter. You let it soak for 5-10 minutes, and then you rinse the filter with a water hose (not pressurized water). After that, you let the filter dry completely (sometimes I use a heater gun or a hairdryer). Then, use the second bottle, which is the oil, to apply oil onto the filter.
I think I'll have to make a video on that at some point 🤔
@@ChrisSofos thank you!
What should the gap be?
Sorry for the late reply. The spark plug gap is 0.7-0.8mm for the 1st generation Hayabusas
