@alliepasch I use it as part of my morning goodies to start my day. I combine fermented garlic, black pepper, turmeric, ginger, bit of olive oil followed by full glass of water. Health tonic!
For kombucha, I’ve heard recommended to steep the tea in about a cup of water as a “concentrate” then adding the rest of the water to cool it down. Also, if you want it more bubbly do the second ferment at room temp for a couple days.
I see you added orange juice to flovour the second ferment. I will try that. i have used cherries, plums and bit of fresh ginger. I use flip top previously beer brown bottles. I leave near my air vent as my kitchen is not that warm in winter.
I m new to your Channel love the video watching from Canada 🇨🇦🙏❤
Love seeing you making all of these terrific home fermentations!! Thanks for the inspo!
I’ve never heard of doing kefir that way, I’ve only ever heard of using kefir grains
I ferment raw garlic that i grow with raw honey for 30 day in the cupboard. It enhances that value of garlic😂.
@@janew5351 I wonder if I would like fermented garlic? I don’t think I’ve ever had it before. How do you normally use it?

@@AmyHatch-x1c I am thinking about the next time I make to to keep the second ferment on the counter for a day or two to see if I like it that way!
