Occasionally I upload plays about the real lives of the people who wrote the classic tales of fantasy and adventure that appear on this channel. This is a BBC radio adaptation of the famous play about the tragic love affair between C.S. Lewis and Joy Gresham. I do in fact have an older BBC version (from 1997) but it's missing the first ten minutes. I may still upload it though, as it stars Michael Williams...

There's an excellent film adaptation of the story featuring Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger - in fact there was an earlier BBC radio version featuring Judi Dench's husband, Michael Williams, but I don't think I have a complete recording of that, sadly.

There is an earlier radio version that I keep trying to find, which starred Judi Dench's husband, Michael Williams - but if anything that version is even sadder as WIlliams himself passed away from cancer just a few years later. He had a wonderful voice though.
