Dillz_ GO TO YOUR ROOM!!! Three was what I call something that could have been great. Three failed to exploite the best things about the American Revolution. However, I respect your opinion my friend.
You know the skill difference between Ezio and Edward really shows. When I played as Ezio I could take on 20 people at once and have them down in 20 seconds flat, but Edward actual struggles just with 5 opponents. I'm not saying Edward is bad, it just Ezio must be just that good.
Spectral Stranger Yeah, I like the AC4 combat a lot better. You're too OP in all the previous AC games. In AC4 you will actually die a lot if you're lazy and just button mash, unlike in previous games. The snipers can one-hit kill you early on in the game, too, before you get health upgrades. It made the game actually challenging and encourages stealth a lot more. There's not much incentive to use stealth when you can mow through dozens of enemies without even losing health.
Michael Stein That's the opposite of what I'm saying. With Ezio, you actually have to be atleast decent with the controls. In AC4 there's no reason to really to be stealthy, I could still be stealthy running straight up to a guard's face in AC4 so long as I killed him. It's almost too easy to rip through guards in AC4 because they're even stupider than they are in the very first game. The skill difference shows when you've played AC4 and then go back to the Ezio games. Especially as far as stealth goes just comparing the hidden blade kill alone.
Spectral Stranger We'll agree to disagree on that one, but the AI programming in AC4 certainly could have been better. Don't even get me started on the stupid suicide bomber grenadiers who do more damage to themselves than anything else or how you can easily evade capture just by going in the water. Still, the snipers made the game a lot more fun and challenging, in my opinion. In AC3 you could literally annihilate a patrol in like 20 seconds. Fighting large groups of enemies in AC4 takes patience and skill. The section in the story mode where you have to infiltrate the temple with stealth was challenging and really fun. I found AC4 the most fun to play of all the AC games so far, although AC2 and AC3 are great as well. AC1 was revolutionary for its time, but looking back, it's a lot more linear and restrictive than the other games in the AC series, making it less fun in comparison. I still play it once in a while for the nostalgia.
Michael Stein AC4 requires patience? I skimmed right through that game 100 percent sinc with my finger practically glued to the run button. (Minus the underwater bits) There are no real risks, unless you just sit there and let something happen. I think the previous entries required more patience, because when Ezio killed someone stealthily, it really looks fatal and he covers their mouth, and lets them stand. Not to mention the gadgets at his disposal. Connor and Edward just flip the blade into backs like a tap on the back, and I'm supposed to believe that the guard would be quiet after such a thing. Also, AC2 was more revolutionary for its time than AC1, mainly because of the influence of Prince of Persia. Plus, a game called Assassin's Creed should probably have an actual Assassin to play as. And besides, I think the snipers were better shots in AC3, seriously, it was actually a little difficult to runaway without the whole town on top of you.
Spectral Stranger The skill difference has to do with the animus modifying it. Notice how Altair/Maria bleeding effect dream that Desmond has in AC II, his skills are that of AC 1, yet in Revelations, Altair's skills are like that of Ezio's. Also notice how Ezio's skills during the Christina missions (which take place during AC II) are the same as skills in Brotherhood.
***** Yeah, I've just recently gotten to the Desmond files, and those were pretty nice. I get it, though. I've had friends who lived out of their bags and slept on whatever couch they could find for the night, but they usually take it off when going to sit down or something. Desmond keeps his on through the entire animus experience. I know it's just one of those things I should forget and just let the game tell a story, but I thought it was an interesting little detail that he keeps going into the animus with a lump of assorted goods on his back. Not the most comfortable experience, especially if his sessions last for 3 or more hours, which is a normal session according to Abstergo's employees in Black Flag. I'm just being picky, of course. lol If I really wanted to be THAT guy, there's so much more that could be talked about, like how in Black Flag, they went through the trouble of giving you a variety of nice outfits to wear, but in cutscenes, Edward still removes and dons an invisible hood for the outfits that don't have one. Again, not game breaking, but something I wish they would have thought of for the sake of being a little more detailed.
Brotherhood has so much action from the start compared to ac 2. That epic siege... You can tell ubisoft has massively improved AC from AC2 to brotherhood...!!!

Pro tip: If you are (like me) on an AC spree, try watching on 1.25 speed, shortens the 12 hours of watching by a lot and you can still understand everything quite well
I didn't feel like there was any holes. I mean, you might notice some missing scenes if you've played the game obviously, but I don't think a person who hasn't played the game should feel like they've missed anything. At least that was my intention.
I remember me and my friend used to play different Assassin's Creed he played brotherhood while I played AC 2 everyday we would tell each other of our accomplishments and weapons good times.
Haven't played AC..ever ....just bought brotherhood, still have to install..but I'm captivated by your movies , very well appreciated ! Thanks for sharing ;--)
You're a godsend Andy. My Brotherhood game was structurally kaput in sequence 1 and I couldn't find a save game to a later sequence. All that was left was to find a thorough story recap. This is perfect. Luckily I played it a few years ago on console already.
No it's not. I have taken cinematics and gameplay, and edited them down to a movie format. I don't include all the gameplay or all the cinematics. I choose which are needed to tell the story. The entire game is something like 12 hours long.
What if they did AC completely differently... Skip AC3 and instead make AC3 Black Flag, and no Desmond bits at all in any of the games, but keep the scene where Ezio sees Desmond... Then, make AC4 a game all about Desmond, but with actual gameplay and an actual character. Reveal the Animus and all only there. Through it, he has the wisdom of Altair, the ability of Ezio and the experience of Edward, and he takes the fight to Ubisoft - I mean Abstergo.
***** I think, after seeing all the Templars have done, he has that himself. The wisdom of Altair, skill of Ezio, wit and experience of Edward and his own courage is enough.
This made me recall why Brotherhood was one of my favorite AC games. The story telling was nearly flawless even when the game play was not. I hope they do as well on the plot and story line in Syndicate as they did here, but with Unity's (post glitch fallout) esthetics.
Loved this game, it had a good tie between Desmond and ezio, probably the part that sticks out most in my mind is Desmond following the ghost of old ezio as he went back to the villa to leave clues so where he hid the apple.
I remember when Brotherhood was announced, quite a few of the fans were upset that we weren't getting AC3. But, it was a great adventure and then Revelations really tied up Ezio's story. Biggest thing missing from the games in the past couple years, since Black Flag, was a modern day character to link up to. We got to play as ourselves in Black Flag and then nameless in others. I think they should re-introduce a character, who like Desmond, is the modern day person. That element helped ground the first five games. Of course the fate of the world helped too.
I think the next game will do that. The Jack the Ripper DLC had some documents showing that the Assassins want to stop with the initiates idea, which is what everything after AC3 has been, which to me suggests we'll be getting a new modern day character. I think it will be a female, which will fit with how Liberation ended saying "Eve will save us all". Desmond represents Adam, and the new girl will represent Eve.
I think that will be interesting. And I hope you're right about a new main character for modern days. It just makes more sense. OR, give us even more control. Say it's been the same character from Black Flag til now, but we get to create them, male or female. That would be cool.
+Andy Gilleand The Modern Day in the First Five Games was my favourite part of the games & it is a shame to see how it is now but Syndicates wasn't bad but hopefully it gets better
+Steven Martin (AssassinMilite) People didn't like it because they thought Connor was a pretty boring character coming off of Ezio for the 3 years before that. I loved it, and yeah Connor wasn't as interesting as Ezio but it's a really good game.
everytime i remember this game...my heart feels weird and i almost feel sad that i finished it so fast. the story was soo good... i replayed the game 4 times and it was felt as though i had never played it before through every run. Best game ever
11:55 I wonder if Desmond is thinking about the fact that anyone of these women with whom he's reliving Ezio's sexual encounters with could be his great, great, great great, (etc) grandmother. Kind of kills the mood doesn't it?😩
Douglas Watson that is easy to forget... no worrys. Though you never know if there were such ancestors of your own like the assassins. still waiting for that animus to be invented irl
I like that you actually showed the whole story and didn't skip over the present parts, some people don't realize that AC actually has an overarching story connecting all the different histories...
2:00:00 Wait... this master assassin, who's carrying a cross bow on his back; and a gun on his arm, just let's his target walk away from him, with the only thing that separates them being an wrought iron gate that he could easily fit the muzzle or bolt through?!?!? Never noticed this one, even after playing it over and over again...
5:40 I dont understand why this is so beautiful: The delivery... The presentation.. The title shot.. Assassin's Creed: brotherhood... This game reminds me of coming home after school or summertime.. And playing this game along with Black Ops.. Playing with my brother and sister, grubbing with some burgers.
Oh yea and I wanted to say.... superb editing. Will watch all of your AC movies before my Black Flag arrives for PC... just to relive the saga before jumping into the next chapter.
I think one of the arguments supporting the benefits of playing video games is that it helps reflexes. I guess in your case its doing its job, although, to be fair, watching the cutscenes also makes me feel bad for the poor "bastardo" . . . (NOTE: I'm not a gamer, I don't play video games, I can't do it, even on PC: it would take a long time to learn how to move the character around and I don't have the patience for it, but my brother does, and I love the stories, hence I am watching the cutscenes . . . however, any comment I make on gameplay, etc comes only from observation and the opinion of gamers I know, not from actual experience)
Whomever scripted the scene regarding the tetragrammaton deserves a lot because that's some really smart shit it pulls off. Connecting Exodus 14:19-21 to a numeric equation combined with Hebrew script then to a major historical monument. Plus Shaun Hastings pulls this off well.
As if Lucy was going to betray Desmond in the end.... In all the cut scenes she genuinely looks like she cares for him and is worried about the fate of the world and the templars ect. personally, i thin kif she was still alive, she would change her mind and not betray Desmond
Right. I think she was still helping the Templars out of loyalty, but I do think she really cared for Desmond, and would choose him over the Templars if it came down to it. It's sad that it had to happen like this; I really liked her character.
Andy Gilleand good point. btw i can't find this anywhere, but what actually was her reasons for joining the templar's in the first place?? when she was already an assassin?
Andy Gilleand She was brainwashed by Warren Vidic when she was working undercover in Abstergo for the Assassins. She became a sleeper agent for the Templars. She did not know that she had been brainwashed, she acted normally, but sent information to the Templars periodically. So now you know something more about Lucy.
This was years ago, so I couldn't say for sure, but I recently replayed the game and ended up playing for around 20 hours total, so probably somewhere around that.
JC I don't replay a lot because I have a long backlog, but these will be my third time through the Ezio trilogy. My most replayed games are the Uncharted games and The Last of Us.
i gotta say, Altair is much more interesting than Ezio. Notice how his voice changes through the game as he becomes less arrogant? That was genius. the game was suuuuper repetitive though....
40:19 - Machiavelli: "Just because you kill a few guards does not mean the people will grant you access to the stables" *explosions* Machiavelli: "It seems the stable is now available for purchase" XD
the graphics and visual effects in Brotherhood are incomparable with any other game. everything felt live.... and most epic when ezio is in gladiator costumes . love this game
Unity, yes. Rogue, I don't know yet. Unity is the next main game, so I'm focusing on that. If Rogue turns out good I'll probably make a movie from it as well.
If Ezio's ghost is the size of Desmond, and lets say Desmond is normal sized for todays standards, then Ezio must have been a freaking giant in his time.
Lucy was at first an assassins pretending to be a templar but she was truly a templar pretending to be an assassin, her plan was to use them to get the Apple of Eden and bring it to Abstergo
Andy Gilleand Who cares about the graphics if unity is unoptimized to shit? Theres a video of someone running assassins creed unity on the lowest settings with a gtx 980 and fps still drops down to the 50's and 60's, that's ridiculous and unnacceptable lol.
Hey man, I appreciate all your movies! Keep it up :D Just a suggestion, since you seem to love adventure games with good plot and writing, if you could look into some older games, such as Silent Hill or Dark Cloud, that might add some nostalgia for more viewers if you want. Still love these though!
Sorry but you're wrong. Connor has a hidden blade and I've used it many times. Connor gets his dual hidden blades from Achilles. By default, his hidden blade is accessed by pressing dpad up.
i enjoy the movie since i don't want to go play through this and just want to get filled in just so that when i play AC3 I'm filled and not lost. but a little wish i have is for subtitles i like see what they are saying when they speak italian just a little pet peeve but other than that this is great.
The games are always awesome, but i always hate the endings. I remember I just waiting at that point when Desmond should stab Lucy I don't want to do that, but some seconds later it have been done automaticly :( .
There is still a little chance that desmond is alive. It could be a fake body in AC4. Bc there are activities from the apple. So, he could have duplicated himself. I dont and cant believe that he is dead.
Bradley B It's probable that Juno swapped places with Desmond somehow.... leaving Desmond's consciousness trapped in the memory modules in the Temple (AC3). Although, if Ubisoft... err... i mean Abstergo was actually there to extract Desmond's dead body, more than likely, they would have also SCOURED the place for First Civilization tech as well. If they did that, who's to say that they probably didn't even realize that they could have inadvertently downloaded Desmond into the Abstergo mainframe in the process.... just waiting for an Assassin's Creed 5, 6 or 7. Realistically though, that'd be a real stretch... and I think the AC franchise can survive/thrive without the extreme drawing-out of Desmond's story. In a way, I felt that it was getting really stale.
Man, I really appreciate you putting these films together. I'm so far behind on the franchise and this is a good way to experience them. A little constructive criticism: I think you could stand to lose almost 15 or 20 minutes of gameplay here! I agree it’s good to have a certain amount to keep the story from jumping about too much, but there's quite a few very long scenes of him fighting and climbing here. In your AC2 movie there's a few scenes when he has to kill a bunch of guards or something and you took 3 1second shots to show him doing it without anything else. This was great because it condensed the action right down and it made Etzio look completely badass. You did the same with a few free-running scenes just to show the progress in a flashy, quick manner. The scenes here are too long and actually slow down the flow, some of them even make Etzio look less skilled than he is (not your fault, just the nature of the gameplay). The fighting and climbing scenes are so exciting in game, but watching like this they just feel a bit laboured. As I said though, thanks for the film and please take my criticism as a complement. It’s great work and can be even better! :)
I always try to look for good opportunities like that scene in AC2, but it's not always easy to do it in a way that works. It's got to maintain the flow of the action well otherwise it just feels like a sudden cut that doesn't fit. You'll see that I definitely did some similar things in some of my other movies like Black Flag or Freedom Cry. It's just a matter of editing it in a way that feels right to me. If the quick cuts feel wrong in the overall context of the scene, I won't put them in.
Andy Gilleand Yeah I agree you'be got to maintain the flow of the story. It's a hard job you've got because the gameplay itself is both integral and distracting at te same time... I look forward to watching the rest! Although I'm thinking I might play Black Flag. Or maybe watch it and play Rogue... I can only play 1 over xmas you see, because I tour with my job without a computer for the rest of the year. That's why these movies are great for me

Or just do Ezio's Diary of the Assassins. Absolutely everything else seems poorly portrayed, even the premise and the plot.
Happy tree friends
strikeout1991 No.
Actually, a
This made me recall why Brotherhood was one of my favorite AC games.
I don't know how I came to love a movie put together from gameplay walkthrough, buh I must say I'm enthralled... Thumbs up
Assassin's Creed Revelations is next after this
I remember when Brotherhood was announced, quite a few of the fans were upset that we weren't getting AC3.
I don't particularly like that idea though, because it causes problems for character development.
+Andy Gilleand how are you man😄😄
+Andy Gilleand The Modern Day in the First Five Games was my favourite part of the games & it is a shame to see how it is now but Syndicates wasn't bad but hopefully it gets better
I don't know why everyone hates on AC3. I thought it was pretty good
+Jerron Turner-Clark Yeah same And the DLC was great for it,i loved the animal powers.
+Steven Martin (AssassinMilite) Assassin's Creed 3 is the worst part.......
Looking briefly the characteristics of Connor
+Steven Martin (AssassinMilite) People didn't like it because they thought Connor was a pretty boring character coming off of Ezio for the 3 years before that. I loved it, and yeah Connor wasn't as interesting as Ezio but it's a really good game.
it's definitely better than unity
Bartolomeo comes up with the best quotes in the history of Assassin's Creed. I am a huge fan.
everytime i remember this game...my heart feels weird and i almost feel sad that i finished it so fast. the story was soo good... i replayed the game 4 times and it was felt as though i had never played it before through every run. Best game ever
The music gives me the shivers....well done, its kind of nice being able to focus on the scenes instead of playing for a change
"I Intend To Write A Book About You One Day" - "If You Do, Then Make It Short" 1:54:46
Connor does have a hidden blade. It also doubles as a standard knife as well for dual weapon combat.
11:55 I wonder if Desmond is thinking about the fact that anyone of these women with whom he's reliving Ezio's sexual encounters with could be his great, great, great great, (etc) grandmother. Kind of kills the mood doesn't it?😩
CinemaSins
nah.... the animus stops following the person when he/she fertilizes the next ancestor. lot of relatives can be found tho....
ore wa neko dayo Ah! Right I didn't consider that.
I like Ezio's story. Thanks fir creating it!
I thought that too when I first played Portal 2, but it's not, Wheatley is Stephen Merchant and Shaun is Danny Wallace
I JUST finished that mission yesterday and that was my first thought haha glad someone else is pissed too
yah
plot line armor
Great work dude. Really enjoyed watching this!
The Assassin's Creed series does a fantastic job at blending historical fact with a fictional storyline. "Nothing is true, everything is permitted"
5:40
I dont understand why this is so beautiful:
The delivery...
The presentation..
The title shot..
Assassin's Creed: brotherhood...
This game reminds me of coming home after school or summertime.. And playing this game along with Black Ops.. Playing with my brother and sister, grubbing with some burgers.
I find it funny how Lucy in the first game had no ring finger, but now she has a fully functional one
Gameplay of Assassins Creed+ World of Skyrim= Heaven on a PC
I'd like Shaun to knit me a lovely hat.
Oh yea and I wanted to say.... superb editing. Will watch all of your AC movies before my Black Flag arrives for PC... just to relive the saga before jumping into the next chapter.
Is it just me, or does anyone get Ezio's joke at 51:12? It is a reference to the last game, AC 2.
I got it :D
I got it, that sword
THE SPANIARD LIVES???!!
What a moment by Nicolo 😂
Is it bad that whenever someone tries to strike Ezio in combat gameplay, my hands twitch from reflex?
Same thing happens to me.
Same
same
I think one of the arguments supporting the benefits of playing video games is that it helps reflexes.
Must be the bleeding effect...
Y'all getting better and better making these video I in joy watching it this is your friend in munford Alabama
shaun's voice always reminds me of wheatley
Great job. You got the big story points, ignored the grinding and put it together quite nicely.
THAT WAS EPIC!! Thanks Andy for posting this.
Thanks 4 upload, always have seen & heard of ac.but never played, now seeing movie, ill get the game,
Ahh, got shivers at 5:50 from the music.
The Ezio series were so good.
Good job bro. i liked it
good job not screwing up ;)
thanks for this nostalgic experience!
Ramsay Bogunovich I don't think we know, but I'm not sure.
***** But also very true.
I love how you create these movie's with the game cut scenes!
How many hours did u record this
This was years ago, so I couldn't say for sure, but I recently replayed the game and ended up playing for around 20 hours total, so probably somewhere around that.
wow.
How often do you replay games? and how many times have you completed the assassins creed games?
JC I don't replay a lot because I have a long backlog, but these will be my third time through the Ezio trilogy.
My most replayed games are the Uncharted games and The Last of Us.
Yeah how many hours
Stellar production, keep it up. They get better every time I see the next.👍🏾🤓
My rankings of Assassin's Creed:
1. Assassin's Creed II
2. Assassin's Creed: Revelations
3. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
4. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
5. Assassin's Creed III
6. Assassin's Creed
7. Assassin's Creed: Unity
Thanks mate, im watching these movies becuase i want to get to AC3 fast and know how the story goes. Simply epic :D
i gotta say, Altair is much more interesting than Ezio. Notice how his voice changes through the game as he becomes less arrogant? That was genius. the game was suuuuper repetitive though....
40:19 - Machiavelli: "Just because you kill a few guards does not mean the people will grant you access to the stables"
*explosions*
Machiavelli: "It seems the stable is now available for purchase" XD
Loved the movies. Just a suggestion though, you might wanna turn on the subtitles next time cause they actually translate the Italian that is spoken.
I leave them off because Desmond doesn't get those translations. It's part of the atmosphere of the game.
Andy Gilleand
i agree with you mate. subtitles are distracting in a movie. cheers for these
Thank you so much for these videos! Great work
fav assassins games
1.Assassins Creed 2
2.Assassins Creed 1
3.Unity
4.Assassins Creed 3
5.Brotherhood
6.Black Flag
7.Revelation
(personal opinion)
Is assasin unitt horrible than ac1??????
do you you now if ACU is working ok on Acer Explorer ?
ok thanks for answering other peapole arent even answering or being a complete douch
i know... but i know a site where you can scan your pc to see if youre able to run games, its calle canyourunit.com try and check that out :)
thank you but evry game says it woulnt work good for my pc even games tht i have that work perfect so i think its kinda broken xD :P
You edit very well, a few holes in the story but im glad you decided to edit i dont exactly have time for a 5 hour video :)
good work but you should have put the subtitles on
Awesome how the dialogue between Vidic and Lucy was added at the end...
I wasted more than 2 hours of my studytime today...just to hear Ezio's voice☺
the graphics and visual effects in Brotherhood are incomparable with any other game. everything felt live....
and most epic when ezio is in gladiator costumes . love this game
Are you planing to do ac unity and rouge?
Unity, yes. Rogue, I don't know yet. Unity is the next main game, so I'm focusing on that. If Rogue turns out good I'll probably make a movie from it as well.
Greysen Cameron True.
Rogue first then Unity only because rogue is peeking my interest with the idea of a story from the other perspective now
If Ezio's ghost is the size of Desmond, and lets say Desmond is normal sized for todays standards, then Ezio must have been a freaking giant in his time.
That glorious armor :(
Ezios story is very sad but at least he avenges Mario's death
When she came in "clothes" I was like o god...
Lucy was at first an assassins pretending to be a templar but she was truly a templar pretending to be an assassin, her plan was to use them to get the Apple of Eden and bring it to Abstergo
i just realised assassins creed hasnt really improvd on graphics
Unity looks way better than this
unity but... III II IV and brotherhood and revalations are all same graphics..
Andy Gilleand
Who cares about the graphics if unity is unoptimized to shit? Theres a video of someone running assassins creed unity on the lowest settings with a gtx 980 and fps still drops down to the 50's and 60's, that's ridiculous and unnacceptable lol.
matics28 chances are they had a crappy cpu, as the game relies a lot on cpu power
well the graphics arnet that bad
Hey man, I appreciate all your movies! Keep it up :D
Just a suggestion, since you seem to love adventure games with good plot and writing, if you could look into some older games, such as Silent Hill or Dark Cloud, that might add some nostalgia for more viewers if you want.
Still love these though!
does assassins creed have a major effect on anyone else lives?
Also do girls play assassins creed or not?
Brendan Sutton No shit Sherlock. I'm a girl and I love this game.
whats your fav one
Brotherhood and II. I love them both equally and they're my favourites out of all of em.
Dawn126 👍
I'm a girl and i play this game alot
Sorry but you're wrong. Connor has a hidden blade and I've used it many times. Connor gets his dual hidden blades from Achilles. By default, his hidden blade is accessed by pressing dpad up.
i enjoy the movie since i don't want to go play through this and just want to get filled in just so that when i play AC3 I'm filled and not lost. but a little wish i have is for subtitles i like see what they are saying when they speak italian just a little pet peeve but other than that this is great.
Dang that ending really surprised me. These stories are so good
I surprised this actually part of truth history of mankind.
AC3: Liberation takes place during AC3.
Connor's story: 1753-1783
Aveline's story: 1765-1777
Favorite part: 1:47:12
He has tomahawk, axe, hidden blade, sword, club, bow, gun, and more. Plenty of weapons, but you can still use hidden blade if you want.
Bradley B
Andy Gilleand
Yeah I agree you'be got to maintain the flow of the story.
That's why these movies are great for me
I haven't played Rogue yet but Black Flag is a fantastic game, I highly recommend it.
