Who will be optometrist & who will be ophthalmic assistance ? Is it will be besis of degree?

And Ophthalmic assistant will come under allied health care professional.

Sir maine khud personal experience kiya hai jadatar allied health professionals jugaad wale hote hain...jo doctors ke favours se ghus jate hain aur fir injection se lekar OT tak me apna dabdaba rkhte hain...bill to no doubt bhut achha hai ab dekhna ye h ki implementation kis level pe ho pata h.

Sir iam a student of pg diploma in guidance and counseling one year certification course, distance mode, from aligad muslim university.. After completing the course am i eligible to work as a counselor? Is this bill have any implication on counselors?

Distance Education Not Eligible To Register ?
Some physiotherapist are protesting that they now are not allowed to do treatment w/o doctor's recommdation as they are not Dr anymore with this bill and are just Healthcare professional. Equivalent to speech therapist or dietitian.
So you are saying this bill doesn't favours these professional and favour doctors more??..(I'm also a pharmacist)
@@PrashantKumar-bb1so I am getting physio for my knee post surgery. The physios are not really happy with the bill. I can't say anything more as I have not read the same but the trait of allopathic doc. not recommending patients to physios will worsen as physios won't be able to prescribe anything by themselves to patients and title will be stripped of Dr. hurting independent practice.
Sir i am a student of bachelor in prosthetics and orthotics and its not included in this bill and our subject has under control of rehabilitation council of India.

Allied and healthcare professionals are different in this act. Allied professional will be having minimum 2000hr of study but healthcare professionals will be having minimum of 3600hrs. Both are different not same

You have mentioned like that " Beside a doctor another person who check your power and do test by machines" But I'm sure I can't agree with you with same way. As I am an Optometrist. There are three segments in Eye care profession. Opticians, Optometrists, Ophthalmologist.. the person whom you have mentioned is a mixture of optician and Optometrist. Opticians can analyse the power and provide suitable spectacles and give you benifits regarding that but Optometry is whole of the Eye care. It includes the Ophthalmic dispensing, OPD, and also opticians work along with contact lens providing. In other countries Optometrist are known as Doctors like Ophthalmologist. They can do minor surgeries including, basic test drug providing, therapies (both psycho and physiological), can recognise power, everything comes under Optometry. In foreign countries this doesn't appears like segment like as a patient when you are starting to judge any of the healthcare professional then you create a negativity inside you and that what's happening in our country. So I hereby informing all that don't judge any of them as they have the same contribution.

B.optom is not allied its independent. What we need from the govt is the legalisation to prescribe medications because we have read about dieases, biochemistry and the reactions of drugs with the overall system.
