I have a 2004 civic owned it for 16 years!! Almost 300,000 miles! It has never left me on the side of the road! I also have a 2019 accord touring 2.0. And a few other cars. Thanks for the great content Randy!!
Buick Riviera is an awesome find in my eyes, You mentioned you can not find any parts for it ..... This makes this vehicle a gold mine when parting out. Im sure given the time frame its been sitting and not selling , it will go for very cheap !
Man you gotta get that 7 series it's absolutely gorgeous! I bet they have the key in the office. Look at that stitching in the leather though, get it cleaned up and bolt the new parts, I bet that thing will run like a brand new car!
Randy, see info below: they have jumper points on all these cars under the hood. should be a negative terminal on the fender wall near a strut and one hidden under the portion of plastic under the windshield. Alternativly you can go in threw your back seat to access the trunk as well and jsut pop the emergency latch.
Me and my friend are doing coopart car things for 4 years. Bid, win, fix, sell is my car world for past years haha Flood cars in UK are cat B listed. Cat B here is for breakers, for parts only. And you need special licence to bid on flood cars. Audi has, boost pack points. They are located under bonnet. If airbags are deployed then you need to get to the battery location. There is a big fuse, in the + battery terminal. Two 13mm nuts and it is square shape. Take it apart, join a fuse and car will start without any further damage. BMW, Audi, VW, Mercedes etc has same style system and so on
In the case of the 4.2 Quattro Audi all you have to do is just release the tab to drop down the rear seat and crawl in and pull the latch of the emergency trunk release 👍🏻
Hey randy on the far left of that audi uder the right passenger side their is a jump point you pull up on the cowl panel and it pops out their should be one on the fuse box area .
Andy I have had Made a comment before about the Audi and how to open the trunk but I think you had never gotten in to it ,to open the trunk fold the rear seats down then you’ll see the release handle if you be able to slide your self in cargo area use light
I bought a 2006 a8L flood car and it wasn't nearly as bad as that one. Needed seat module and a few others. Ended up replacing entire motor abs module 1 shock, tensioners, and a few other things. No jump point on the a8 of that year we go in the truck thru the hole/ access port in the rear seat cup holder then use a broom to hit the emergency unlock switch. Also if you put 12v to the dashboard fuse in the door it will get the key out the ignition. No paperclip some don't work properly. Hope this information helps the next guy.
that frontier is such an easy fix, takes time but it can be straightened out. Changing the frame is much more complicated unless it comes out in nice sections.
Go with the ridgeline. I have a 07 civic with the r18 and owned it for two years. The only thing that really NEEDED replaced was my rear calipers and parking brake cables besides regular maintenance.
I miss my 05 Nissan Frontier. It had the 4 banger but it always had power when I wanted to. I had a custom exhaust on it and tuned the engine to add a little power. It was one of the only base model trucks my Nissan dealership that was custom.
get a jumper box or jumper cables and connect Positive to a smaller phillips screwdriver and negative on other scredriver and touch your cigarette lighter output. It worked for me. Ignition came on and key came out. Just don't short it.
The Honda is a Donation (and when I write this sold on approval). Could be a good buy. Clean straight vehicle and title. Appreciate the walk around in these difficult times. Thank You Copart and Randy.
Buy the Beamer dude good car.....Also thank you for making these videos even during the nuttiness of the world right now. Like you I am still working every day!
You posted this video on my birthday. 3/24. I watched it on my birthday. Awesome video. Love your channel. You inspired me to start my own TH-cam channel and in the future I hope to buy and sell cars on my channel. Thanks for all you do. Keep up the awesome videos. 😊
Hey Randy, I bought a Ridgeline brand new in 06 and put 160k miles on without a single problem. I would definitely recommend one if the price is right..
At 4:10 it looks like the GPS in the BMW is functioning because it automatically recalibrated the clock according to time zone the car is located in. Super neat
the 1rt bimmer looks like just needs a new rear bumper but i would take a closer look under those heat shields in the rear they looked way to clean, i bet they're maybe some damage hiding there
There’s a 91 riviera at a pick and pull in Kansas that’s the same colour and looks like a good front end, there might even be one around where you are at
Nice ridgeline, my brother in law has always wanted one, but could not afford to. I hope one day I can afford to find one at copart just like that one and buy it for him.
Great video. I noticed during the Audi ragtop walk-around you missed the gen 10 Honda and the older Acura literally right next to it, but you redeemed yourself with the gen 1 Ridgeline (2006 truck of the year at Motor Trend). Yeah, there's no bed to speak of, but there isn't in an El Camino or say a quad cab Colorado either. In fact after 25 years the Colorado's bed is... 1.2" longer. You'll get a Honda sedan or couple in there eventually, I have faith in you. Keep the videos coming.
i would buy the bmw 740. It looks good and if it runs well, then it is a good deal with the replacement parts in the back seat. I would go for it Randy.
Now that’s a deal on a 100k car , I had the 730 E hybrid and great car ,try turning up the radio with you’re fingers and changing the radio with also the fingers ..
Randy, I would love to have that Nissan pickup, can't afford it right now... buy it for me 😆 please?? I would straighten the frame, throw a homemade flatbed, & bumper on back.
Salute Randy 🌟 ! 2018 BMW has been doctored up LOL ! Beautiful ride though, shame it's sitting at COPART nothing against Copart LOL . Stay safe brother 👊😎
Randy addicted to your videos watched loads over the present lockdown. Strange the differences in driving culture.....of course with fuel prices at $7+ a gallon, try running a V8 in the UK. Been 10-12 years since I've had a petrol car. Great channel, great content,, subscribed. Love that 7 series.
kenny koester my 2013 accord sport is about to be paid off in August. I bought brand new 8/13. as a left over. I’m at 160k. No breakdown ever. I’m keeping it forever and getting a camaro as my other car.
You really should take on that NIssan Frontier! 13k miles, I'd overlook the damage the bed caused to the cab as long as it didn't penetrate/puncture the cab but, Even if it did, weld it up/patch it somehow, THAT TRUCK IS WORTH IT/BRAND NEW! Could get an easy 200k more miles out of that drivetrain!!!!!! Keep in mind that a used bed would cost a lot less then $4k!
The Infiniti just needs a cleaning under the hood, and in the interior, maybe a headlight and I think that the gauges is just a fuse. Could also use some tires lol.
On the Audi convertible this is a common fault. These issues are usually caused by internal failure of the Multitronic (CVT) gearbox ECU that is bolted directly onto the gearbox itself. Not a difficult job and the ECUs can be rebuilt but are available.
Well yeah if you own a car , when the key is in position one before the car cranks over that light is always on then once your car starts and does a check it will go out if all is ok...
Again that is normal function of the obd2 system. It illuminates the light in key position one then when you turn the key it checks all monitors which monitor each system and if any fault is detected it will stay illuminated but it goes out like any other car.
@The_First_Resort No, you don't get it; Car manufacturers all have different check engine lights; Some say "check engine", some say "service engine soon", some have a picture of an engine and some have a picture of an engine with the word "check" over or under it; What I'm trying to get across is that that particular car has a "service engine soon" light...
The Ridgeline is basically a Honda Pilot with a bed ….its like the chopped the back top off the Pilot. I don't like them either but it is a good vehicle and does sell well
There is a nice Acura TL gen3 shown at the 11:28 min mark. Do you ever consider the Acura's? There is good demand for the gen 3 models 2004-2008 and they are easy to work on. I have a 2006 TL where everything still works on it and I only have to do maintenance after all these years. I have 3 friends that all want to buy that car off me when I eventually get a newer one. An Acura MDX would be a great car to fix and resell (2015-2020). I am just curious if you stay away from the Acura's because they cost too much to purchase at auction and there is maybe not enough profit for your effort.
I can’t believe some of those vehicles. As far as some of the damage I don’t feel it’s that big of a deal. All the trucks look good to me. They can straighten the frame somewhat and put a bumper on and drive it. Great transporter of parts and large things. Nice video Randy, looking forward to the next one 👍💥💥
I have a 2004 civic owned it for 16 years!! Almost 300,000 miles! It has never left me on the side of the road! I also have a 2019 accord touring 2.0. And a few other cars. Thanks for the great content Randy!!
You're welcome
Drew Benefield 300k barely broken in. Is it a manual?
Randy i am from india and stuck here from past 5days and will ve stuck for another 21 days,i watch your old videos all are entertaining thanks .
Your not alone
Stuck inside here as well
Buick Riviera is an awesome find in my eyes, You mentioned you can not find any parts for it ..... This makes this vehicle a gold mine when parting out. Im sure given the time frame its been sitting and not selling , it will go for very cheap !
Been off work. Caught the corona virus been busy watching you. Thanks Randy.
Man you gotta get that 7 series it's absolutely gorgeous! I bet they have the key in the office. Look at that stitching in the leather though, get it cleaned up and bolt the new parts, I bet that thing will run like a brand new car!
The Ridgeline looked great! But already know the outcome! Great walk thru!
Randy, see info below:

BMW, Audi, VW, Mercedes etc has same style system and so on
Randy there is a device you can get to plug in the 12v outlet an use your booster pack
Seeing these videos simply makes my day!
In the case of the 4.2 Quattro Audi all you have to do is just release the tab to drop down the rear seat and crawl in and pull the latch of the emergency trunk release 👍🏻
That's exactly what I was thinking
Andy Larralde That’s exactly what I was about to comment and then I saw this comment LoL
He seems to have changed the way he budgets his time spent in the videos.
It might only have a pass-through, on the A8, but it's worth a try!
He's too fat for that endeavor. Knew better than to embarrass himself more than he already was!

After all this corona stuff got us on lock down this is the only thing I’ve been watching
Your crazy man that Honda Ridgeline is a hell of a truck. Buy it before you regret it man I’m telling ya. They resale for good money. You have a gem
I think the check engine light came on for that Infiniti. It was service engine soon which is what Nissan used.
Yup. It's a Sevice Engine Soon light, top right of the speedo. Came on both times
that frontier is such an easy fix, takes time but it can be straightened out. Changing the frame is much more complicated unless it comes out in nice sections.
Go with the ridgeline. I have a 07 civic with the r18 and owned it for two years. The only thing that really NEEDED replaced was my rear calipers and parking brake cables besides regular maintenance.
Congrats on your new house, Randy! I saw your video yesterday and forgot to mention it.
I miss my 05 Nissan Frontier. It had the 4 banger but it always had power when I wanted to. I had a custom exhaust on it and tuned the engine to add a little power. It was one of the only base model trucks my Nissan dealership that was custom.

Really like the Ridgeline. Love the body style. Of course I owned an Aztek at one time. Please reconsider it.
The Honda is a Donation (and when I write this sold on approval). Could be a good buy. Clean straight vehicle and title.
Appreciate the walk around in these difficult times. Thank You Copart and Randy.

The Bimmer and Ridge are looking good.
FWIW those infinitis have a "Service Engine Soon" light instead of check engine and it's visible at 20:00 before you start it
Oh, dang that Colorado took it hard in the rear end
Monty The Troll Hunter 😂😂
Hey Randy, I bought a Ridgeline brand new in 06 and put 160k miles on without a single problem. I would definitely recommend one if the price is right..
O
Yessss! It’s my birthday and I was waiting for this! Thank you Randy
Happy birthday!!!!! (and many more)
Happy birthday! 🎈
Happy birthday buddy!
Happy Birthday. Have a great day like everyday :) x10 lol
Happy birthday
The battery on the audi is under the cowel where you was pulling i have a 06 audi s4 it has its own plastic cover labeled with a battery logo
To jumpstart the a8 you have to look under this cover in the midle below the windscreen
At 4:10 it looks like the GPS in the BMW is functioning because it automatically recalibrated the clock according to time zone the car is located in. Super neat
the 1rt bimmer looks like just needs a new rear bumper but i would take a closer look under those heat shields in the rear they looked way to clean, i bet they're maybe some damage hiding there
The Audi A4 at 10:24 when you started it up, the flashing "PRNDS" means the TCM module is done fore, needs replacement or rebuilt.

Let’s go a nice long Copart walk around vid!
i would buy the bmw 740. It looks good and if it runs well, then it is a good deal with the replacement parts in the back seat. I would go for it Randy.
The Honda might not be your cup of tea, but it certainly deserves to get back on the road. Could be a good quick flip for you. Love your vids man!
I agree the Honda Ridgeline isn't a real truck. Yes it'll do some truck work. But still not a real truck. Still not bad looking vehicle. Nice flip
Id take that Ridgeline any day of the week!
Now that’s a deal on a 100k car , I had the 730 E hybrid and great car ,try turning up the radio with you’re fingers and changing the radio with also the fingers ..
Oh man that cab was .... 😳that frame
I would love for you to check out the white Honda accord I think and see if it starts and whats the damage. Thanks
1:12 did u saw the latest 2020 7 Series ? these grills are tiny compared to those man !
The new kidneys are absolutely nasty
on that leaky infinity it has a service engine soon light and it does come on and go out
Randy, I would love to have that Nissan pickup, can't afford it right now... buy it for me 😆 please?? I would straighten the frame, throw a homemade flatbed, & bumper on back.
Wish that Buick wasn't so far away.. these are in abundance here in Jersey
Salute Randy 🌟 ! 2018 BMW has been doctored up LOL ! Beautiful ride though, shame it's sitting at COPART nothing against Copart LOL . Stay safe brother 👊😎
Randy, the car next to the white Audi is a white Honda accord, I own The Identical car.I was hoping you would review that Honda
i
The Ridgeline is like what the Explorer Sport Trac is.
The chevy colorado would be a good buy i think, maybe doesnt need to replace the whole bed only the damaged side.
It is awesome that they are letting you walk around the are great people there
LunarOutlaw’s Garage here to in tx curfew at 10 till 5am
The key on the A8 slides apart and has a little key to open the trunk.
Dam that's sukxz. Here in Houston Texas gas is $1.35 a gallon
But you have free healthcare!
Glad that the people at Copart are letting you continue to make videos
I know someone with a 97 civic that has 400k n it's still goin strong. Like you said, it's a Honda.
That BMW is great
I love these vids about damaged cars, keep em comin
It would be helpful to know the prices or beginning bids.
10k means 15- 20k in repairs
At my local Copart, the expensive cars have to ask them for the keys
Randy, why don't you take down the rear seats and pull the emergency trunk release, in the audi?
Randy theres significant storage under the bed on the Ridgeline
Hey rendy i am not sure but for audi A8 i think if remove rear seats maybe can open the trunk
I love that Nissan truck. What year was it?
When PRNDS blinks means the mecatronic unit of the gearbox is done
Honda is the best car on the road period,I love my accord never a lick of problems
kenny koester my 2013 accord sport is about to be paid off in August. I bought brand new 8/13. as a left over. I’m at 160k. No breakdown ever. I’m keeping it forever and getting a camaro as my other car.
Say that to Africans and they be like nah
The Honda Ridgeline is titled as a. "Station Wagon" in Michigan. Randy
Exhaust and bumper with those options is about 15k alone for brand new parts and a terribly long wait. Talk about months if you can even get one.
Well one thing I learned from Audi is to get the trunk open just pull the passenger side floor mat and there is your battery points to boost it
I really enjoy the walk around!! Thanks Randy
The Infiniti just needs a cleaning under the hood, and in the interior, maybe a headlight and I think that the gauges is just a fuse. Could also use some tires lol.
The Check engine light comes on when you flip the key forward on the top right hand corner
last chewy is easy fix plowtorch and get the bends out its bit time consuming but easy
Slap a new bumper on that 7 series and you're good to go.
Telluride I don’t care what year it is. Stay away from any BMW 7 series. I would rather take a Lexus LS500 for that money.
yep
If the key is there...
That's what I was thinking.
Yes
On the Audi convertible this is a common fault. These issues are usually caused by internal failure of the Multitronic (CVT) gearbox ECU that is bolted directly onto the gearbox itself. Not a difficult job and the ECUs can be rebuilt but are available.
saludos muy buenos carros y buenos modelos saludos desde perú - latinoamerica
Loved the Beemer
Randy I would get the ridge back and the BMW with all the parts
The Infiniti I35 would say "service engine soon" and it did turn on but then it turned off @ 20:12 ...
Well yeah if you own a car , when the key is in position one before the car cranks over that light is always on then once your car starts and does a check it will go out if all is ok...
@@the_first_resort940 I would know because I have a 1999 Infiniti Qx4 and the check engine light reads "Service engine soon"...
Again that is normal function of the obd2 system. It illuminates the light in key position one then when you turn the key it checks all monitors which monitor each system and if any fault is detected it will stay illuminated but it goes out like any other car.

Honda seemed to think about making a smaller version of the Chevy Avalanch in my opinion and they have no room in the Honda Ridgeline
That Nissan was a nice vehicle
The Ridgeline is basically a Honda Pilot with a bed ….its like the chopped the back top off the Pilot. I don't like them either but it is a good vehicle and does sell well
Regarding the 2018 BMW 740il: “$20,187.40” will be the price to fix that one!
I was expecting you check the Jagar on the other side of the Ridgeline
Hey Randy, thanks for the update. Please lately you've been looking for a BMW, please consider that one
Randy I am willing to bet you that 750 would run but some smuck stole the key but that my guess atleast
I know people out their who would put it on a frame puller and also repair the cab corner damage and what ever else it needs like seat belts
If the truck doesn’t open can’t you put down the back seats and pull the emergency release? Thats what I do at the junkyard
That white 19 Silverado looks nice
That chocolate brown leather in that BMW is nice
That E400 AMG looked nice
There is a nice Acura TL gen3 shown at the 11:28 min mark. Do you ever consider the Acura's? There is good demand for the gen 3 models 2004-2008 and they are easy to work on. I have a 2006 TL where everything still works on it and I only have to do maintenance after all these years. I have 3 friends that all want to buy that car off me when I eventually get a newer one. I am just curious if you stay away from the Acura's because they cost too much to purchase at auction and there is maybe not enough profit for your effort.
Randy why don't you do Honda's nd Toyota's
I can’t believe some of those vehicles. As far as some of the damage I don’t feel it’s that big of a deal. All the trucks look good to me. They can straighten the frame somewhat and put a bumper on and drive it. Great transporter of parts and large things. Nice video Randy, looking forward to the next one 👍💥💥
