I was in love with the Buick until you pointed out the rust on the brake lines. I'd have never even noticed that, and if I had I wouldn't have known that is a danger sign. Then you looked at the rockers, and it was ate up with rust. Goes to show you need to know a lot more than I do if you're interested in a fixer up project. I learn something new with nearly every copart video. Thumbs up.
That 750 is a risk bc most of those lights are on bc of 1 problem there isn’t multiple, the stability control light turns off once you drive it, but always is on after the battery is disconnected. The engine ideal is most likely a cylinder misfire you probably only need to change the coil, and everything else on that car is good
Still though that is a 7 series Li (which btw is the longer version of 7 series) also as i have seen it has less issues than the 6 series coupe that Randy was looking to after the 7 series.. 32:00 Check for rusted through brake line on that Buick. Buick was the first car I ever had that problem with. Luckily, it popped and the pedal went to the floor as I was pulling into a parking space, rather than on the highway. It was good to go after I replaced the damaged section fitting to fitting. Also had two windows quit working, both after a small nylon cable retainer broke in the regulator. I replaced regulator in the first, scavenged another nylon retainer from a returned regulator to fix the second.
Go for the BMW 750. Those light are likely the result of one or two simple issues. Clear the codes, buy one more Pirelli to match, service if needed and it should be a good driver then.
You know what I love about you? Im sitting here in South Africa watching, then I go to Copart and can find the Cadillac and look at it. Maybe nothing special for you guys, but awesome if you dont have it...
I'm not much on Volvos because I had one. A 1998 S90. The drive train was actually very good with a straight 6 but the rest was crap. That one looked good and would make someone a good commuter car. Definitely go for it.
The Northstar is not a terrible motor as long as you buy it from 2005 or younger, or you sort out the head bolt design flaw by yourself by using GM's small-block V8 "LS6" head bolts, which are longer than the originals but also crucially have a coarser thread with superior grip. There is a tool kit available that make this work a piece of cake. I like the Northstar. It is GM's most technically complex engine with overhead cam, four valve per cylinder, aluminum block/aluminum head V8 design.
It looks like one that a shop was taring down to repair, and then the owner didn't want to pay the amount they said it would cost to repair it. Seeings they removed everything that needs to be removed in order to take the head off, It could be something as simple as a head gasket replacement. Our shop has gotten to that point on vehicles many times and then had the owners decide not to fix them, and buy a new vehicle instead. Had one guy that had just financed a Jeep from a used car lot, and he took it in a pond and sucked water into the engine and caused damage to the head, and he went and financed another truck the next day and called and told us not to fix it that he was going to let the finance company repo it. Some people do some crazy shit sometimes just to keep from having to pay a couple of thousand dollars in repairs. lol. Some will go $20k or more in debt to keep from paying $1000 repair bill. lol.
the bmw z4 jerks into gear, I drive with my friend, who a professional car mechanic and his opinion on this - it's a torque convertor. When car stop, converter get 1/2 spin. Effect exactly like many describe - first touts - I get rear ended.

I mean think of it- this car a really nice and working night vision system, and that was back in the 2003. The best thing of the e65/e66 was how quiet it was, especially when equiped with double glazed glass.

In a static sense, the fundamental difference between a liquid and a solid is that the solid has elastic resistance against a shearing stress while a liquid does not. Thus, a simple liquid will not typically support a transverse acoustic phonon, or shear wave. Gels have been described by Born as liquids in which an elastic resistance against shearing survives, yielding both viscous and elastic properties. It has been shown theoretically that in a certain low-frequency range, polymeric gels should propagate shear waves with relatively low damping. The distinction between a sol (solution) and a gel therefore appears to be understood in a manner analogous to the practical distinction between the elastic and plastic deformation ranges of a metal. The distinction lies in the ability to respond to an applied shear force via macroscopic viscous flow.[1][2][3]
The BMW Z4 is in limp mode. Myself and a family member had the same issue. We replaced our transmissions. We sold both I purchased another Chrysler Crossfire.
The Cadillac SRS could make for an awesome vlog, and a departure from your norm. This could work on any car, find the previous owner that lost the car due to a tow bill, repair the car, and surprise the previous owner with his/her newly improved ride. Would be especially good if the owner had been living in the car as their only roof which may be the case in this Cadillac.

The BMW 750Li is most likely a low voltage issue (old battery) or the ABS control module is bad, common problems on the E65/E66 BMWs... Both of these cause the dash to light up like that...
