Hats off to you for breathing life back into a blast from the past. You have to hand to GM. In the mid 60's their intermediates were knocking it out of the park with the styling. Be it a Buick Skylark, Olds Cutlass, Pontiac Lemans, or Chevy Malibu all of them were good looking cars then and still are today.
Beautiful car. I would get it road ready and drive it while slowly working on getting it better. No reason on letting that gorgeous car just sit. Loved the video, brother!
You know when you see cars that have been left to sit just a bit TOO LONG and you're crying "Why? Why? WHY??? Well this car is being rescued at the exact right moment! Just before any real rust is about to go to town on that beautiful body and before any real damage has happened to the engine etc. Good on you man!! Saved ANOTHER ONE!!
Good show! As to the fuel consumption, if its fixed up, it is a weekend FUN driver. If you got money, you should get some fun while gasoline is still legal.
Old chevelle’s never die they just intimidate the rest by just being there . Needs some care and show the new crowd what a real car is with power and character.
It’s a chevelle it deserves to be saved. That color blue has to go lol. Chevy orange all the way 😂…. Great job in keeping the channel real. Love the content 👍🏻
Unreal that someone would just let that car sit, like another commenter said, criminal. Great potential there, shame they won't sell it you. Must have more money than brains. Great video.👍🏻
Even though it has a BB and SS hood, it was nice to see it still wearing Malibu badging. I have a red 66' Malibu, 327, Muncie 4-speed, SS buckets. It's a driver but still looks good because it is cared for. This car will bounce back once someone does the same.

Back in 1974 when I bought my 68 Z/28 for $3,000 a guy I knew with a 68 Camaro did the exact same thing, raising the rear of the hood. He did it to let the heat out. Nice flow from the front to the rear.😅
Should have in the back of your truck a (gas generator)( and a battery charger jumper )(bigger commercial type) and a (compressor) and guess what you'll be ready willing and able to do everything ! 🎉
That car looks identical to a friend of mines who went missing 30 years ago. The car and friend have never been seen again. Had a big block in it and manual transmission.
I had a ,67 SS back in 78, baby blue, it came with a 396 and a muncie, 3.73 12 bolt, but when i bought it from a guy for 100.00 it had a 283 2 barrel. I replaced it with a 350 350 hp and headers, it ran really strong. i drove it for a couple of years and one day a drunk driver in a F 150 decided to end the cars life and broad sided me totaling it out, i was actually awarded 1200.00 for it because of its SS value at the time, it would now be worth a lot i would imagine.
Some folks would rather let the car sit and rot to the ground, rather than sell it to somebody who would bring it back to life, why I don't know. Wouldn't take much to make this beauty a beast.
