The next morning a hotel employee said you are the guy surfing out front there. I said yes it had some good waves but a bit disorganised and I had to catch waves to stay in the area. He said yah you surf good but don't surf there you will get dragged out to sea. He asked if I had a 4x4 and I did. He gave directions around a golf course through cane fields past no go signs and down the beach to a spot. He gave his name to surf there and it was good.
