1 buy salvagers helper from Glaydis in groundbreaker. 2 get medium armour. 3. Engineering at 20. 4 tinker untill salvagers helper does 1100 dps. 5 steal everything you can. 6 sell everything you dont need. 7 you should up handgun and sneak skill. You should be good to go.
It’s been bloody lovely to relive some Fallout and Skyrim glory-day goodness. As soon as I saw the fourth or fifth one of those neat looking heads that indicate there’s only 3 different bloodlines in their world and old people are young people but with ripples on their skin, I felt at home. But the conversations (so far for me) are better written and much more carefully woven than they used to be as there are custom responses from my AI depending on what dialogue options you’ve chosen and in which order... evidence of loving care. The pacing of the first ten hours has been too slow for me but I have great respect for this game. This is what Bethesda might have been capable of, if ever since Skyrim, they hadn’t made resting on their laurels in to a dreadfully fascinating form of performance art.
Dave L Bethesda never really made good rpgs. They made great sandbox games where the world was the star, not you. They’re moving more and more toward mindless cash grab games too. The reason the writing is better is because that’s what these guys do. They’re more about player choice and story and good dialogue, Bethesda is more about giving you a huge, gorgeous world without any good story beats, minus a few cool side quests every game
humdrumfeast I think Skyrim and Fallout 3 were accepted with love despite their many faults because of the sheer size of the worlds and sheer amount of gameplay and we assumed Bethesda would improve their wonky presentation but Todd and co were apparently so impressed with themselves that they just stopped even trying to create let alone refine and clearly decided that working hard was for chumps so they basked in the love of their gaming community and bought boats and houses and hot cars and trained interns to use there game engine to copy and paste their old shit in to Fallout 4 etc. so they could just focus on the holy trinity of buying cool jackets, jerking each other off and being amazed with themselves. Shame.
Played the first week on Game Pass put it down an came back to it randomly 18 months later. That my friends is the power of Game Pass. I’m taking this game in on my seasonal break from the Destiny grind an man it so good, so refreshing. Phil Spencer.. thank you 🙏🏾
Having your companions not die when playing outer world's is not always easy as on one playthrough on monarch I lost both Ellie and nyoka in a marauder ambush because they had multiple snipers
Literally the best weapon in the game is the prismatic hammer with high science the science weapon perk and two handed melee it one shots everything lol
As I'm modding and tinkering with my armor and weapons it seems you cannot do so with armor and weapons that you are wearing or have equipped respectively.
My companions get melted by well, everything. Edit: i beat it on supernova last week followers are useless only take them for the final fight they will die btw
They're terrible. I thought it would be like fallout nv where companion deaths are few and far between and really emotional but the fact your companions are pretty much guaranteed to die in most encounters makes it kinda tedious.
@@ismathem I know mate, thanks though. I was getting really annoyed so I asked around and found you have to set them to defensive or passive. I've also found another good option, leave them in the fucking ship!
I think I could get through Supernova with the battle difficulty and the needs thing, that is actually fun but what kills it for me is Companions dying, those morons will get killed sooner or later no matter how you babysit them. Then also flaws being mandatory. Flaws suck and they are not worth any perk.
huge tjp on saves everytime u enter a loadzone (atleast as of now) it auto saves idk of its supposed to or a big but definitely ruins the saving worry in supernova mode
@@One_Sun_One_People You have a wide disconnect between what the creators stated purpose is "7 tips to make you a PRO at this game" and the difficulty of the game. If he claims to be making people a pro, he is open to criticism when most of what he says is flat out wrong.
@@One_Sun_One_People And you have an inflated belief in your control over others. He put it out into youtube and has a comment section for relevant criticism, which my comment was. It's a single player game is not an excuse to be wrong, it just means that it's not as competitive. And yes, I would agree that most perks aren't necessary, in fact I would go as far as to say that the game has disappointingly shallow RPG mechanics.
Syisulis Solease yeah, you can only sleep on the ship, and the only way to hard save is on your ship as well. Entering and exiting zones gives you auto saves. It hasn’t inconvenienced me too much, game isn’t too hard
I'm sorry but on SuperNova mode I wouldn't accept any FLAWS. Its not worth it since half of the perks are totally useless and the 15 you do get by level 30 are all you need. Not worth it to take penalties in anything, especially when you get to the prison, that place is ridiculously tough.
When I played through the game... on supernova.... as a F%#$ING MELEE BUILD....... I really wish I wouldve seen this. Couldve made my playthrough a lot lot lot simpler
Keeps on crashing in SN Mode on PS4. Which is lethal in a game mode that restricts your saving options serverely. Obsidian like we used to know them...

Sprint Perk is a must for people playing on Super Nova where no fast travel is accessible.

Tips for Supernova go solo two handed get science hammer profit
Some really great tips on here but most won't suit my style of play. But everyone does things differently, so cheers!

Yea it's OP. I'm thinking of going higher difficulty cuz combat on a well built melee character is buuusted.
Nah I'm all about the charged plasma rifle with Corrosion damage. Tends to deal with the worst of the worst very quickly
As I'm modding and tinkering with my armor and weapons it seems you cannot do so with armor and weapons that you are wearing or have equipped respectively.
Yep. For best dialogue skills boost - go sublight armor + silver tongue. Also Reeds hat is sweet
00:41 song pls ?

Also look for the armors that are +7
