... so by “exploit” you just mean “leveling up and playing the game as it’s designed to be played”. Huh. I guess America and Britain really are two countries divided by a common language.
@John Failphins Not really, Americans lengthen vowels that shouldn't be lengthened, they add in r's where they're are none. Like the name John becomes Jaarn in most of the US, the thick southern drawl is incredibly difficult to understand. Much like the West Country or Scottish accents over here.
@@nekogod Clearly you don't live in America (I wouldn't either if I had a choice to be honest), because these are all exaggerations, and most Americans don't sound like what you are describing. I will however concede that we do have those few that do in fact exaggerate their own speech to sound like that when talking to people in public.
Yeah the stealth in this game is a little iffy. Kill a guy from stealth, nobody in the town notices, but your rep decreases. Snipe an explosive barrel next to an enemy from 200 meters out with a silenced sniper, they all know where you are instantly, but if you shoot them in the head, no biggie.
@@TheNomnomnommer yeah I can't imagine it's intended. It makes me yearn for the good old days of stealth in Skyrim and Fallout 4, when you could walk up to somebody in stealth and they wouldn't notice as long as your skill was high and you had the right perks. I wanted to make a stealth sniper build, but everyone sees me after I fire two shots, even if I'm at a distance in a bush. I have to let their suspicion fully reset before I fire again, and that can take like 20 seconds. My sniper build at this point is a handgun build with a sniper's hat on.

Now scroll to the junk tab and select the stack of adreno. Choose 'remove from junk' and move the entire stack back to your consumables tab. You now have a stack in the consumables tab AND in the junk tab. Continue selecting 'remove from junk' as much as you like and the stack in the consumables tab will keep growing. Rinse and repeat until you have a few million (Don't go past like 10 mil or you may bug your inventory and not be able to sell the adreno, but anything under 10 mil is definitely safe) then sell them. Just got finished with a two handed playthrough, my super OP science hammer did 10k+ damage with its amazingly awesome power attack. Killed everyone and everything, then flew into the sun. It was glorious.
Nothing hard to feel this game is broken. Every build is potentially OP. Even on Supernova, i go full teamworks skills so my teammates do all dirty jobs and i just stay and watch :D
To be honest I don't think this is an exploit (the sniper exploit) since those are skills that you had to pay for not like Skyrim where you make infinit money for free
The first one doesn't actually seem like an exploit to me, just seems like a massively specialized sniper build, possibly in one of the easier difficulties. As for the second "exploit" you actually lost money, you started with 1,401,062,883 at 14:48, and ended up with 1,401,062,257 at 17:44, so clearly it's not full proof. I am honestly disappointed with you Spiff if this is the best you could find, and not really surprised given we are talking about Obsidian, an actually competent game developer.
It's because he got a run of bad luck on the mod drops. You can sometimes get pristine rare mods, which in my playthrough (almost no speech skills) sold for 700+. Normal Rare mods, which have a 20% chance on salvage, sell for around 350. The trick is only buy armor that's under 60. That's not including the calculations of common mods. When those are factored in, as long as you buy under 60, you have a 97% chance to get a ROI.
"There's actually an exploit!" Proceeds to teach people how to create a Synergistic build! Not yet at the RAM fight, curious how it works there, and also what difficulty this is.
@@timeforvintagepancakes9751 She's such an adorable muffin and must be protecc... Though with the way she handled a hammer in my game she was usually the one proteccing me xD
@@vallergergo737 Because he had a *really* unfortunate run of bad luck on the mod drops. Not a single mod was a rare, and you have a 20% chance each salvage to get one. The cheapest rare mod is 300 base value, the most expensive is 500, getting a pristine doubles the price. I do the exact same thing he does for money, but I only buy armor that's 60 or less. I tend to get a net gain of 2-3k, sometimes as much as 9k if I get extremely lucky with pristine rare mods. All of this takes about 4 minutes.
The damage isn't all that impressive, with a plasma rifle you can build something similar that scales with long guns and science. I ended the game doing 3k dmg.
There’s two ways to be more broken. 1) get the “pink slip” 2) the science weapon called the prismatic hammer. I’ve hit over 38k in one hit and I wasn’t completely built for it.
Pink slip is absolutely trash, if you are still playing the game just compare it to any hm assault rifle and you are gonna se how terrible of a sniper is
Nice sniper build, it's a great thing the game allows. Playing and specing your own way. I actually did the last level without firing a single shot (RAM can be hacked). Though, I am going to have to try this mod selling bit.
About stealthing the last mission: "stealth" is incredibly easy in this game. I had medicore stealth and still finished the level without firing my gun. You just pick up an id card from somewhere and the cloaking device makes enemies think you are one of them, and then just walk towards the objective. You'll just need to pass a few dialog checks when guards start suspecting you of not being one of them. It saves a ton of time compared to going in guns blazing and is less risky too, but I can see how people would not be that interested in the said playstyle
Out of my many criticisms of this game. I did love that you could play a build that was almost entirely non combat focused, and not get screwed as soon as you did the main story. Looking at you Deus Ex Human revolution and your first boss fight.
This is one of those games where having unlimited money is practically worthless to you because there's hardly ever anything worth buying other than ammo, and you get enough supplies+ammo+bits just exploring and selling your loot.
@Dahn hi, thanks for the question! My goal here is to see how many would like to see the same thing, and to see if the longer I display an example of something fun *_that Spiff himself said,_* the more other people would like to see it at well. Seeing as this comment already has a 400% increase in likes compared to day one, I'd say this is already successful to a degree, but that could also be because I commented this earlier in relation to yesterday's attempt. On your second point, no? This is a pretty common thing for fans to do, both because it shows dedication to the Creator and the series, but also because it helps the creator with audience interaction on TH-cam, like rating the video, or replying to comments like you just did. (Ninja Edit: who said I was nagging besides you?)
I love this channel so much. He has successfully exploited my viewing experience to enjoy the videos more than anyone ever should enjoy a youtube video
I feel like I'm missing something with the money exploit. That seemed like it barely made you any profit. Like, hours and hours of repeating that to reach the amount you had.
The money system is a joke in this game since it becomes practically worthless over 10K as there's nothing worth buying it's only good for bribing and upgrading weapons.
Well, considering if you're willing to take advantage of the vendor reset mechanics (waiting for x days), the game actually has unlimited money. So you can cheese broken trades (like in the clip) and just grind for it.
I suspect what actually happened was that he converted all gear he found into mods, then sold them. Probably made mad bank just playing the game efficiently.
In Baldur's Gate 2, you can get jillions of gold pieces by having a thief in your party, getting enough potions of master thievery to raise your pickpocket skill to 200, going to Mae'Var's guildhall, stealing all the +2 maces you can from Gorch in the trading screen, then selling them back. It takes a while but you'll never have to worry about money afterward. You can also steal tons of equipment from other vendors and can just buy what you can't steal.
I actually was shocked he didn't do a melee build with the science hammer. You can do 9k dam per hit with out stealth and with a full party, and heal after everything you kill effectively making yourself immortal
Now that we've seen Reanu Keeves outside Skyrim's reali-TEA, I can't wait to see Keanu Reeves find his lost brother in Cyberpunk 2077 and how they develop their story Spiff, make it happen!!!!
I found his "game breaking" crits of just around 2k pretty cute. While I'm sitting there hitting for regular power att of 8k damage in a cone aoe with the prismatic hammer science weapon. 21k if I sneak attack+power attack. All I did was get 2 handed weapons up to 80, science 100 and took all of the perks that increase science weapon damage. Also have Vicor Max in the party for his perk that increase science weapon damage. And pretty much everything in a cone in front of you will die in one purple splash of hammery death. To which all that is easily accomplished pretty quick. You can pick up the Hammer right after the starter world. Than its just a matter of the perks. So blindly run into combat and take damage so you can get free perks with flaws. Flaws don't mean much when you kill everything in one hit anyway. All said and done you could probably get this monster build by level 15 or 17 if you really wanted to. Which leaves plenty of game for you to just be a Hammer wielding god. My companions are basically just there to cheerleader me on and watch me massacre everything. The best part is is that I didn't even mean to be op. I just started using the Hammer and took the perks associated with science weapons and next thing I know I'm doing insane amounts of damage.
I done the same but only on my 2nd playthrough (guns 1st),seemed a no brainer to take all the science perks when I grabbed the hammer. It's absolutely devastating,it tears through hard like it's normal
@@victorvondean I know right. Like how did they miss how much damage all the science perks + the hammer does in testing. Its pretty obscene and makes all the other weapons pretty obsolete.
