could you guys address the farm situation over there? how the government is cracking down on small farms due to water restrictions? We are thinking of moving there but this is a HUGE concern to folks like us who grow our own food etc.

That’s not something we’ve had a lot of exposure to, but not something I’ve heard about being a big issue either. The coastal communities get about 70” of rain a year.

There's one in Astoria now too. It used to be a drive to Road's End only for me but it's nice to have more options. Some places are really expensive, so if you're not going to harvest your own seafood (which everyone should, really, it's basically free for your time) and you don't want to go have a 60 buck slice of questionable halibut Mo's is a nice option. There's a lot of great pizza up and down the coast too.
