I have the previous Dogma F and I love it. It rides so good and it looks different than all the other race bikes, that is something I really like about it. 😊
the last 5 Tours de France Pinarello bikes didn’t play a significant role, same in most significant races; so according to your introduction we should assume that Pinarello now is outdated…? No, but most top bikes today are equally good - it’s the rider who wins or loses
All frames are manufactured in Asia and only the painting and assembly of the Dogma models takes place at the company's headquarters in Treviso. Therefore, to the purist, this is NOT an Italian bike! But still nice, though!
The secret to bikes that are successful in grand tours is getting them under riders that are capable of winning a grand tour. It’s not the wand, it’s the wizard….
I know they worded that as if to say "off level/on a slope" , but they'll be referencing the asymetric, slightly to one side off center nature of the bb shell , like Cervelos bbright system.
Pinarello Dogma F carbon frame is more stiff than cheaper carbon? (wilier gtr or specialized Tarmac sl4) and cheaper carbon are more comfortable than high quality carbon(like dogma or other high end frames) ??
Pure marketing genius! Ya gotta hand it to them, they've made a fortune selling bicycles with their decal on them made by others. Not original of course, but they've done a fantastic job making sure the best teams are using bikes with their decal on the downtube. But don't forget, the bike doesn't do s__t until an athlete climbs on and starts pedaling.
The first Dogma was not the FP. It was simply the Dogma .. a magnesium frame with carbon rear stays. The FP was released on 2004. Explain how I had a Dogma in 2003 bought in Treviso from Giovanni Pinarello. You really need to get your facts straight
That is next level shilling. They make the frames in China and they're owned by LVMH that owns Louis Vuitton so it's absolutely a luxury brand, not a performance one on the edge of innovation. Does colnago win the TDF with pogi and UAE because UAE owns colnago, or because colnago is one cut above the rest? I'm sure pinarello makes great bikes, but this video sounds terribly hollow.
@cannon1156 they sold them this year to an individual. And production is China and Vietnam, finishing in Taiwan and and painted in Italy. This is all for the Dogma.
@cannon1156 the F8 and 10 were under Pinarello ownership. After that, it was under LMVH. I do believe that the quality went down bc they were really pushed to produce as many as possible. Fausto even said that in an interview.
I love that they kept the mud & grime on the Roubaix bike. Reminds me of former LeMans racecar in museums.

It's not the bike it's always the rider
They've also won World titles in XCC, XCO MTB, and Cyclocross......

By your definition there isn't a carbon Italian bike.
@@flipper2gv well so be it

Its not the bike that wins, its the rider. Everything else is marketing...
Sorry but can you explain “the bottom bracket has been tilted”???

@@Cycle.every.day. O.K, I believe you but in what way can that possibly be described as being “tilted 3 degrees”?

Often, you can not get a fram to fit you, and because of this, you feel left out of the bike industry.

The real Pinarello frames are made by Carbotec Industrial of Taiwan and China. Painting are done in italy ….

How did it hold up? And your experience?
@@tommyfreckmann6857I raced that bike until 2015. It was a great bike

still, an OEM frame is made in Taiwan and ROC No such thing as authentic frames anymore😂
The handbag bike firm? Colnago has won more. And watching @mapdec it's clear Penisrello bikes aren't well made
Is this Pinarello’s carbon frame made in China and then sent back to Italy for painting?
Yes! Made in Taiwan
No, it's not. They are made in China or Vietnam.@@ageofsigmar7236

I do agree to a degree. But, when the Dogma F8 was released. It was very cutting edge at the time in 2014.
LVMH are recent owners of Pinarello .. not the woners when the F series started
