Hey I’m setting up my Logitech and I can’t find the video capture device and my webcam keeps lagging
Is there anything you could suggest for me to do

Yup I just figured that out today before watching this video, my camera looked like it was in 15 fps and after I took it off looks wayyy smoother.

Nice. I was finally able to get my c920 to give a decent picture. I'd already done that thing where you adjust the focus ring inside and it got a little better, but those settings really brings it into focus. Thanks!

Dude, I can't thank you enough for this! i was wondering why every time i would start up my webcam that it would look so low quality and sometimes a bit spotty due to the lighting. but i had no idea about the Low Light Compensation! and thank you so much! I subscribed for all the help you gave me!

I use camtasia 8.6. I had Logitech Capture and am trying to use Ghub instead. I downloaded Ghub. I have the icon on my desktop. Any idea why in camtasia in the available video devices area it lists only HD Pro webcam C 920 and C 920 and Logi capture?

does the camera stay like this or is it only for obs?
question - I just got the Logitech stream cam and when I go to properties in OBS there's no way to adjust all the custom settings you have available. it only shows input format, color space, and video range.
When you click on your webcam source you should bring up a window that you're talking about. You should see an option that says configure video, if you click on that it should bring up the ability to adjust everything I was talking about.
I know the Logitech stream cam is a new webcam, maybe there are more settings for adjustment in the Logitech g hub software if you cannot get OBS to work.

DestroyerSTP thanks! Unfortunately it only shows device, resolution, and frame rate. No configure video. Not sure why my options are so different from everyone else’s!
@@MishaGoetz it might be something that Logitech put into their camera to prevent you from altering the image with anything other than their own software. The good thing is if you go into the lunchtech g hub software and you edit the video that way, those settings are saved and you won't have to redo them every time you start up your screen and software.
so unfortunately even though you have to take a couple extra steps, you should only have to do it once :-)

Hi, do you think it's ok to use the logitech 920c camera instead of a normal camera to shoot videos? I want to shoot videos for ad copy and run live webinar while using a teleprompter.
It all depends on your budget. The C920 can look great as a webcam when properly lit, but it won't have the quality of a dedicated video camera. Best of luck!
Hello, I am using a C920 On a macbook pro with the latest OBS but I cant see the configure video option? Is there something I am missing as the drivers just say they are plug and play?
Someone else said they don't see this option either. Unfortunately OBS or SLOBS is the best way to edit the video, but if you can't find that option then try Logitech'e GHub software. It will let's you edit the video feed from the webcam but it doesn't have as many adjustment options
If you download the Logitech Capture program it will save save your settings once you set it up once manually.
Where can I find those settings on a Mac?

Hey dude im using OBS on mac, I can't find all those saturation settings and stuff, where do I do? Are you using OBS or streamlabs OBS?
I use OBS Studio to stream from. If you cannot find the settings on OBS in Mac then I would recommend downloading the Logitech G Hub software and you can make your changes from there.
Sorry I'm not a Mac user so I'm not sure if those settings are available on Mac or not

I have the C920 but when I go on Adobe Connect for a virtual class, I can see the teacher & the other participants in different windows on top but in the window where my name is. I can see my name but not my picture above my name. The teacher says that he can see me no problems. I ran a test of my equipment on theAdobe Connect website and everything is fine. Can you please help. Is it the resolution that is set too high or the software that came with the webcam. Thanks
I'[m sorry, I know nothing about Adobe Connect or using it for conference calls. I've only used this webcam to stream on Twitch via OBS
hi im getting this for my partner for christmas but i know nothinggg about gaming and streaming. will this camera work for the ps4? and like does it record the tv screen and his face at the same time? (like screen recording but also getting his reactions and walk through?) sorry if its a dumb question. maybe he'll know how to work it but i just dont wanna buy it and find out that its not what he wanted exactly.
That should record his face, but I don't know if it will work with his PlayStation or if he needs to connect it to a computer. If he wants to record what's going on on his screen, he is going to need something called a capture card. I can suggest one called the Elgato HD60S.

How do you make it where you can see yourself even when your not on obs
you have to use some sort of program to see yourself, i think logitech has one called logitech capture
on streamlabs i dont have the zoom option i rly wanted to use it can someone help??
On stream labs my voice gets echoey on stream and I think it’s from the built in mics from the c920. How do I eliminate that echo?
on streamlabs you should see your c920 in your audio mixer section (the green/yellow/red bar where you can see audio levels). just click the speaker icon next to that bar and it will mute the webcam

Actually, it's probably not the best idea to have focus and exposure on auto. It's better to set the focus to 0 when it comes to most webcams because if you try setting it so that the background gets blurred, you're just gonna blur the entire image. Plus, if focus is set to auto, there's a big chance that your webcam image is going to suddenly blur on occasion. And when it comes to exposure, it's better to manually set that to a level of which doesn't worsen your framerate.
White balance should also be manually adjusted so that it's consistent, and doesn't change in the middle of recording a video or streaming.
Reccomend more the 922?
either one is fine, honestly they are nearly the same camera, both do 1080p with 78 degree field of view. c922 does 60fps but MOST streams are 30fps so it really doesnt matter.
Im not sure why but Turning off Low Light Compensation made it much more better for me. Other than that good video.

I see the 1080 x 1920 option in the logi capture software ... then you set your video format to mjeg ... huh? This is not is logi capture? This is in OSB?
This is in streaming software such as OBS or Streamlabs OBS. I highly recommend using the Logitech GHub software over the Logi Capture software as well.
Oh man, 49 dollars.. They are like 140 dollars now and sold out on every single webshop due to everybody staying home. I need this for my livestreams lol!
I know man Zoom and internet classrooms has made webcams sold out almost everywhere, pretty crazy.

Logitech g hub is good too but it doesn't let you change as many things as streaming software does, I don't use g hub for that reason

No, changing settings in one software doesn't affect the other.

Help ! My settings do not look at all like yours. I have the c920 HD Pro only see the Logitech Capture software with limited options (you can see it here: www.logitech.com/en-us/product/capture#logitech-pass5). I have very limited slider type options and the image does not seem to be improving. I am really just looking to get a effect similar to the "improve my appearance'" setting on Zoom. Should I uninstall that software and get some sort of driver to see the settings you have? Any and all advice welcome please....
The software that I and other twitch streamers use is called OBS studio, or some people use streamlabs OBS. My video is more or less how to make your camera look good for live streaming on those programs, you can download those programs and use them to alter your video feed, but changing the look of your camera for something such as zoom or other video conferencing programs might not be able to use this method.

@@pyguy9915 this is a full size mirror less camera. Sony A5100. Wouldn't recommend it unless you wanna spend 500 for the camera and 200 for the cam link lol I use it for other things besides streaming tho too
