  • Three-year old, sweet Belgian Malinois rescue dog has been trained to understand commands and instructions in German to do tricks. His human said he himself learned enough German to instruct his Belgian Shepherd dog to do tricks in it. He said he had the 3-year old Mali's DNA tested and the dog is full Malinois. The Mal weighs one hundred pounds. His human calls him "beachin' Malinois" because he is so "chill" and calls him the nicest Malinois around.

Yes, but I think a lot of K9 handlers and Malinois owners in general in America like to use German voice commands as the German Shepherd is so popular and kind of similar in it's use as a service dog. In some parts of Belgium, they even speak German, since it's our close neighbor.

Yes, Belgian is in the description. His human said he learned enough German to instruct his Malinois in it so I searched, and German is listed here as Belgium's third official language 🙂: language-diversity.eu/en/knowledge/regions-of-europe/die-deutschsprachige-gemeinschaft-in-belgien/#:~:text=These%20are%20predominantly%20German%2Dspeaking,Vith.

@@BootneckAlphaKilo I searched and read in Encyclopedia Brittanica that German is spoken in
      Eupen-et-Malmédy, a region in Belgium.
