I bought a replacement ignition switch for less than $8 on Amazon. They're about $10.50 now but worked perfectly and came with 2 keys. Fixed my problem and very easy to install.
Ive the 4x4 400 Kawasaki. It runs, but it won't charge. Hadn't had the chance to work on it yet. That and I need the rear seat and the rear plastic. It's for sale. Trade or cash either or.
IT is here too, just gotta find the deals. Sometimes I get lucky and find easy repairable machines for cheap. I think in total i think i was in this one for like $550 and it was ready to ride anywhere.
I saw on one of your videos that you had the 400 with the shifter being hard to get into high and low. He said something about taking the pins out. Do you have a picture of the pens so I have an idea what I’m doing when I do it, if so, that would be appreciative. I just could not find that video and you didn’t really show the pins.
I got one thats 4wd an mine is a 2003 had it running all work good ride mine everyday then now it won't shift into gear if it runs now an works I'll trade you mine
hello, I have the exact same four-wheeler, but I'm having problems putting it in any gear (it only works in reverse and neutral, and sometimes H and L jump, but again I can't put it in neutral), can anyone give me some advice, please, what should I do? Thanks for every reply
If you have the same style of shifter in this video with the button then the button isn’t supposed to be pressed to go from N to H. I took the pins out inside the shifter to make it shift right again. These shifters are bad about the pins seizing up.
@@TheATVHustle okay, thank you ... but just now I came from the quad and found that there is almost no oil in the gearbox (I completely forgot to check the oil:/ ), could it be why I can't shift gears? do you think this could be it?
Good evening, someone who can guide me, I have a 2001 Kawasaki Prairie 300 4x4, I was driving it and suddenly it turned off I checked it and asked for it but when I accelerate it goes off, I raised the throttle and if it works, what could be wrong?
@@TheATVHustle I replaced the starter button relay in the battery box with a new one but still will not work but if I unplug it and cross with wires in the plug it’s a 4 slot plug it will start with the button.
@@JamesSmith-eu8eg it’s hard to say. A lot of products now are the same Chinese products put in nicer packages. I would say it sounds like either a bad relay or the connection isn’t good.
I got one all worked great but now it won't let me shift into any gears mines a 2004 model 4/4 but justs won't let me shift into my gears now can you help me out
The shifters are prone to fail, you can take the shifter apart and pull out the 2 pins. It makes it to where you can just push the lever forward and backwards and get it into the gears.
I got a 2003 model pairie 360 thang is ment 4/4 it's nice I ride it every day but went to ride it today an runs good but it won't let me go now win I go to shift into any gears can some one help me out

thats a steal , with the way it runs that might be a 1200 dollar machine all day long ( in my area at least it would be )

Where is the voltage Regulator at on the prairie 300?
If i remember correctly its under the seat.

I don’t have any pics but it’s prettier simple when you open it up. I’m 99% the are square pins.

@@nicolasdemjan6222 yea it could be but that engine would also be your engine oil. Which is kind of a problem lol

I’m not sure, possibly the carb needs rebuilt.
@@TheATVHustle I put a new carburettor, new coil, new spark plug, new cdi and it's still the same, what could it be?
