Yeah nah, like the plan to kill Godzilla in this movie is like the best one ever. Like the man said, ocean pressure at like a mile down below sea level is INSANE. The reason animals like Sperm whales can do that is because they don't do it quickly and they all but dump all the oxygen in their lungs, or they would get crushed. And then, the plan to drag it back up is good because once an animal is down that far, if they go back up again really quick, they'll basically explode because to survive the pressure down there their internal pressure needs to match the external pressure of the surrounding water, which means that if the surrounding water suddenly becomes far less pressurized, the internal pressure of the animal would basically blow them up like a balloon. So when Godzilla is taken down to the bottom of the sea you can see man is STUNNED because the pressure is so great, and then when he gets dragged back up again, you can see man's eyes are popping out of his head and his scales are falling off because he's bloating. The only reason the plan didn't work is because they underestimated just how tough it was.
He also chewed through the wire which allowed him to settle at a depth for a few minutes. It wasn't enough to mitigate all the damage he received, but it did give him time for his body to start adapting to the pressure and slowly repair some of the damage.

There's so much that makes this arguably the best Godzilla movie. I love the original, and I was blown away by Shin Godzilla and felt that nothing could top it at the time, but this one really got under my skin. In Hollywood blockbusters nowadays they claim 'it's about family' or 'it's about the friends we made along the way' but aside from running from green-screen set-piece to set-piece the characters rarely share any genuine emotion or moments. (There's a few honourable exceptions, sure.) In Godzilla Minus One you grow to deeply care about this post-war family growing together out of the shattered ruins. Tokyo lost over 100,000 people in one night of the fire-bombings, and the film is a sobering reminder that a lot of 'families' weren't related but were survivors trying to piece their lives back together and beginning new ones. I honestly feel that this film could have gone on being a post-war family story without Godzilla showing up, and I would have loved it. But Godzilla does show up. And because we love and care for the people (and the people of Tokyo are all sharing in this same story) we grow to fear and hate the impossible, near-malevolent unnatural force that crashes into their lives. I've never hated Godzilla until this movie. Shin made me a little in awe of him at points, but this one, this one I truly dreaded the big monster appearing. I'd hope this next appearance would be delayed each time, that things would get better for the characters. As I usually want to see big monsters stomping on things in movies, this was something of a unique experience where I actively didn't want Godzilla to show up. I just wanted him to leave them all alone. It's the most emotional Godzilla movie for me and it's actually about something, which all great monster movies are. Destroy All Monsters was also my favorite as a kid ('cause it had all the monsters). JUST finished watching G-1.0, ( by the way, shouldn't this be called "Godzilla One Point O"?) it was great!
This movie was originally in color, but a black and white version has been released. In Japanese culture, "death before dishonor" was a serious credo. And kamikaze pilots were volunteers. Shikishima swore an oath to die for his country, but he was too afraid. It wasn't him his neighbor was specifically angry at, but all the "cowards" like him she blamed for Japan losing.
Those Warships on the movie are real ships that survive the war. The one that Goji stomps and get blast in the face was IJN Takao. She is the largest Heavy Cruiser in the world (no, Alaska is a Battlecruiser), she armed with 10 203mm guns and carries 8 sides of 610mm Type 93 Torpedoes. It is also the most heavily armed cruiser at the time before Alaska Class. The other two that participated to defeat Goji are IJN Yukikaze and IJN Hibiki. This is legitimately my favourite movie ever. I know that’s weird to say about a Goji movie, but it’s the truth. The characters are amazing, the music is beautiful, Goji is absolutely terrifying… except his arms are kinda goofy. Aside from that one incredibly nitpicky thing, this movie is absolutely perfect.
Fun fact: Takashi Yamazaki the director of this film is a big fan of Godzilla, he also featured Godzilla as cameo in "Always: Sunset on Third Street" on 2005 and he is the director of "Godzilla the Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate Battle" which have same design for Godzilla in this film
18:38 Yes, that was the exact implication to their reactions, and this same social view on failed kamikaze pilots plays a big role. His redemption wasn't necessarily based on his own actions, but based on how society around him evolved for the better and learned to forgive him.
Also wanted to point out, the director said if TOHO gets him to do a sequel, he feels like he HAS to add another monster to the film. So if Minus One gets a sequel, we will get to see this version of Godzilla fight something.
if minus one references godzilla 1954, then the sequel MUST reference godzilla raids again, because even because goji 1954 died from the oxygen destoyer, he somehow lived in godzilla raids again, and because thats the movie after godzilla 1954, then the sequel must be related to raids again, with anguirus.
Minus 1 was able to capture the pure terror of what a Godzilla attack would be like. It’s the little details like the squish noise when he takes a step that really put you into this scene
Okay, Imagine someone tells you there was a movie focused on a kamikaze pilot trying to rebuild his home and life while dealing with his survivors guilt in post war Japan. It already sounds like a fantastic move. Then they say it's a Godzilla movie... I wouldn't have believed it could be this good. It's not just a great movie it's a great Godzilla movie!

Its hard to explain, but basically the gas created a wall around godzilla separating him from the water pressure. So he went from zero water pressure on his body to being sunken down to 1500 meters and that pressure hit him instantly instead of it gradually getting heavier as he went down. Thats why his spikes went into his back again the pressure crushed them in. Then bringing him to the surface was like essentially bringing a blob fish up. If youve seen a blob fish in the pictures theyre disgusting flesh blobs. But under water at their depth theyre beautiful fish. The transfer from deep to up at that speed breaks the barrier and breaks their body down. So godzilla breaking the barier of the surface exposed him to the air causing his body to break up
The coment about "why you are standing there" or "Go, don't stop" is not a real reaction about the trauma of the humand mind, the real reaction is shock, terror and fear.
44:51 He might've been standing on a continental shelf or a underwater mountain, which is also a common theory for how Godzilla stood in the water in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Or, because of his weight, he could be buoyant and be floating.
There was a surprisingly well-done 1980s Chewitts sweets stop-motion advert with a giant monster set in London that had one do this, but was then given a giant chewey fruit bar instead and thus the day was saved. You'll find it on TH-cam somewhere.
Fun fact, the director of Godzilla minus one actually based Godzilla's movement and his actions off his own cats. It's true and that's also what the director of Godzilla X Kong did for Godzillas actions too.
the atomic explosion effect is cooler than Oppenheimer's film, if Oppenheimer is the one who made atomic, Japan is more experienced in sfx. Really very experienced, we know
Christopher Nolan didn’t use any effects on his explosion besides camera angles.. he used real TNT to simulate a “large explosion” then he filmed it from certain angles to appear much larger. And Godzilla minus one effects team won the Oscar lol. I like both done the way they were done. Nolan loves using practical effects and a modern Godzilla movie is for sure gonna have effects
What i really like is the contrast in the different Godzilla's mentality. Most dont really care about the destruction they cause, it just being a side effect to their existance, but Minus One really goes the extra mile to show that he's the most ruthless monster of them all. Also, by the way if its not been mentioned, 49:05 it was said by the director that she's basically been marked by Godzilla's Cells. What that means is for fans to figure out
So glad your reacting to this because i have been waiting and glad to see you are reacting to it as i never got chance to see in theaters in my small town, very awesome
I like how there are two simultaneous versions of Godzilla running. The hero and protector Godzilla is being run by America. The villain, force of nature, destroyer Godzilla is being run by Japan who invented the character.
the black thing on her at the end was radiation damage being that long inside a radiated area will cause damage like that (we dont know when exactly they found her so she could have been under the rocks and bricks for a few days or even weeks if she found water and food which would also be radiated)
Every version of Godzilla seems to have his own gimmick and with the wolverine healing, this one is probably one of the scariest versions 😮😅 I would definitely love to see a sequel to this one
The reason the fish looked like that was because they were deep sea fish, they aren't accustomed to not deep waters therefore their skin inflates whenever they get too close to the surface rendering them basically dead because it forces them to float.
at 49:00, the thing on her neck is actually Godzilla's cells, which was confirmed by Takashi Yamazaki in an interview. Apparently, a sound effect was going to be added during that scene, but was removed.
I am Japanese. As has already been said in other comments, the heroine, Noriko, was alive because she was struck by Godzilla cells that were spewed out along with the rays. The black bruise you saw on Noriko's neck is the part where Godzilla cells were infected. It is said that the director originally planned for him to die, but he wanted him to meet Shikishima, so he changed it to a cross-section arrangement.
A good old fashioned Godzilla movie. I love it. I haven't seen the entire thing, but I intend to. Love the old Godzilla design. This is the Godzilla I grew up on. 🥰
The best thing about this movie is how absolutely everyone loved it, it was made with so much love for the character and some Oscar worthy visual effects, true cinema 🏆🦖
Yall know the term "fight or flight"? This occurs when your in a situation where you have too choose one of these For exemple: your in a fight and you have too choose to fight or run away Theres a third option called: "freeze" For example: you acidently make a fire and your brain chooses this You basicly just stay there before your brain snaps out of it Or it can be called E.D.P(emotion driven paralasyis) Its basically is what it sounds You enter this when your filled with surprise or fear More information on this on a episode of a boxing series(idk the name) On the third episode called "emotion" at the end
Noriko didn't run because she was in shock - she had just survived on a train where everyone around her likely died, then barely survived herself by dropping into water from a decent height, and then she was almost hit by falling debris. Deep shock can cause people to just freeze in place. Getting off the train wouldn't have helped - elevated tracks.
People only talk about the dropping of nukes on Japan. Operation Meetinghouse was arguably just as bad. Firebombing Tokyo had about the same amount of deaths as Hiroshima and was far more brutal. Nuclear blast.. or a city wide 1,800 degree oven and fire storms. I know what i'd choose.

this was a beautiful story told about Koichi, Noriko and Akiko in the aftermath of WWII and the state it brought Japan down to. Even if Godzilla wasn't in the story at all, it's still a great human interest story, and I would love to see that version!
The original Godzilla was a villain. Not acting like a hero like in Legendary films. And Minus One is also made by TOHO (The creators of the first ever Godzilla film)
00:54 It may be because they mixed it up with Minus One (1954) which was the original, maybe first, Godzilla movie. Godzilla Minus One (2023) is the remake of the 1954 version.
49:08 Theory: the splotch on her neck is g cells (godzilla cells) and like in one of the old movies she turns into this big plant monster called biollante and godzilla comes back to life and has to stop her
The scene 49:08 was the result of the radiation when godzilla blasted his atomic breath, and many other survivors probably have it. Expect a sequel in a while (5-10 years as my prediction)
Brother...your reaction was on fire. From 30:02 to 30:34. Atomic fire dude. Only reactors I enjoy this much is Kathateshorrormovies and JenMurray when she gets caught off guard. Damn dude. Many, many thanks!!!!
That black thing on her neck at the end……. That is the reason she survived. Her body became hosts for g cells. Remember when it was said that Godzilla “marked” Tokyo as his territory.
Noriko totally did a mom move shoving Koichi into the alley before the shockwave hit. She'd clearly fully become Akiko's mother over those two years. Ask any mom about the "mom arm" that she does whenever hitting the brakes in the car a little hard, top stop a child from hitting the dash. :D As for his "standing" in the water I believe his very long tail can be used to maintain buoyancy and keep him upright partly out of the water, like we humans do by distributing our weight when we float on our backs in salt water.
on 49:00 my assumption what is on noriko neck its G-cell (godzilla cell) maybe when noriko on train she was very very close at godzilla mouth and exposed to radiation from godzilla mouth. why is she stay alive when she get blow by the wind? because the G-Cell (gozilla cell) regenerate her
Shin Godzilla and legendary Godzilla would be able to beat minus one because they’re both three times bigger than him, and then when legendary and shin fight, Legendary would win. also I love minus one Godzilla, he’s a recreation of the first Godzilla in 1954, the reason Godzilla was created was because he’s a representation of the nuclear bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki because he’s a giant monster that destroys everything in its path, also the reason it’s called minus one, is because Japan is already back to level 1 at end of world war 2, and then a giant monster comes up and destroys it even more and puts it to -1
If you ever wanted to watch more godzilla would definitely recommend the orginal 1954 gojira, final wars and the heisei era of movies. All are really good
Youve been corrupted by monsterverse to think godzilla is a protector XD original godzilla was always just a mindless monster who only knew destruction
I feel -1.0 works so well because Godzilla's scenes are only him being a menace. If we saw it too often, the effect might wear off. Compared to others, -1.0 doesn't kill much, but leaves SUCH an impact.

I’m Arab American I LOVE Godzilla movies of watched almost all of them and collect there figures it sucks that they change a lot of this dialogue 😢
One of the best movies of 2023 AND for under 15 million!!! Should have won even more awards!
Its not weird to love Godzilla
It’s not weird it’s Godzilla
That’s awesome, this movie is GOATed!
It's not weird to love the gman..
Also his arms also not weird at all it looks cool to me in this movie since shin
@@Dark_Trap998 when he’s moving his arms, they look awesome. When they’re just still, they look kinda goofy to me. Still love the design though.
Minus one literally have best regeneration ability but he's not that tanky
It doesn’t matter how strong or flashy a Godzilla is, they are all still cool nonetheless.
Might be shin as his skin is constantly regens
@@chrisgomez1262 shin's regen took hours to form an eyeball. The novel for minus one says his regeneration is visible to the naked eye.
@@finleydoyle4913 shin skin is being ripped and reformed
@@chrisgomez1262and he still heals slower.
And another Fun Fact: Third Street Godzilla is really large.. not even funny its larger than Godzilla Earth.
I hope it's Anguirus
if minus one references godzilla 1954, then the sequel MUST reference godzilla raids again, because even because goji 1954 died from the oxygen destoyer, he somehow lived in godzilla raids again, and because thats the movie after godzilla 1954, then the sequel must be related to raids again, with anguirus.
is it gonna be the noriko the girl?
@@izuto727same
It's gonna be minus two since Noriko got g cells 💀
Minus 1 was able to capture the pure terror of what a Godzilla attack would be like. It’s the little details like the squish noise when he takes a step that really put you into this scene
0:00 bro was flabbergasted
Ngl i had the exact same reaction
ooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
Okay, Imagine someone tells you there was a movie focused on a kamikaze pilot trying to rebuild his home and life while dealing with his survivors guilt in post war Japan. It already sounds like a fantastic move. Then they say it's a Godzilla movie... I wouldn't have believed it could be this good. It's not just a great movie it's a great Godzilla movie!
This is one of theee best godzilla film ever made no wonder it won an Oscar 🙌🙌
@@KingGoji-m1r3 wrong lmao this movie was phenomenal
@@iskiiiexactly such a great movie
@@DOOM6628 exactly
@@KingGoji-m1r3 dude why are you still replying a whole day after your first reply. also, i never said anything about the writing. don’t know where you got that from. the special effects in the movie were phenomenal, especially considering budget. i also don’t know why you’re talking about 2021. what does any of this have to do with 2021?
@@KingGoji-m1r3reread my comment a couple times and figure out how whatever the fuck those three replies of yours are trying to say has anything to do with what i said. you're putting words in my mouth without actually taking my argument into account.
three replies? really? you say im gonna cry without attention? you have replied to me some 5 separate times, once literally days apart before i replied. i do not know how you do not see the irony in that at all. get a hobby.
i am done replying now because you are unintelligent, will misunderstand me again, and the thought of you replying another 12 times with more insults just to not get a reply is funny to me.
Godzilla is also a sea monster. Who has an extremely powerful long tail. That could help in his buoyancy.
Genuinely one of the best Godzilla films so glad you’re reacting to it!
I just love how Godzilla picks up the train like a chew toy
Edit:cheese 👀
👄
There was a surprisingly well-done 1980s Chewitts sweets stop-motion advert with a giant monster set in London that had one do this, but was then given a giant chewey fruit bar instead and thus the day was saved. You'll find it on TH-cam somewhere.
Thanks nice fact
Fun fact, the director of Godzilla minus one actually based Godzilla's movement and his actions off his own cats. It's true and that's also what the director of Godzilla X Kong did for Godzillas actions too.
"Helpless people on subway trains, Scream bug-eyed as he looks in on them"
@@MassProducedEva1997 You also seen that TH-cam short right?
the atomic explosion effect is cooler than Oppenheimer's film, if Oppenheimer is the one who made atomic, Japan is more experienced in sfx.
@@Viper72 about Nolan's problem, I know, you know, we know, they know, but you don't know the point of my comment hahahhahah
The regenerative ability is how it survived Operation Crossroads and gained its new abilities.
I like how there are two simultaneous versions of Godzilla running.
The hero and protector Godzilla is being run by America.
The villain, force of nature, destroyer Godzilla is being run by Japan who invented the character.
Also, the black veins in her neck at the end are confirmed to be Godzilla Cells. Essentially her and Godzilla are directly connected
Pretty sure that's how shin godzilla was made, gojira cells and human dna
the black thing on her at the end was radiation damage being that long inside a radiated area will cause damage like that (we dont know when exactly they found her so she could have been under the rocks and bricks for a few days or even weeks if she found water and food which would also be radiated)
The director confirmed it wasn't normal radiation poisoning, it's Godzilla's cells
@@beanzaruyeah was about to say that
It was g-cells
@@beanzaru I was thinking maybe she was a Mothra twin. I didn't even think of Godzilla's cells. Thanks for the info.
Yeah I also thought it was that until recently,
great video!
19:32 those news ppl are one of the biggest godzilla fans i have ever seen
Every version of Godzilla seems to have his own gimmick and with the wolverine healing, this one is probably one of the scariest versions 😮😅 I would definitely love to see a sequel to this one
The reason the fish looked like that was because they were deep sea fish, they aren't accustomed to not deep waters therefore their skin inflates whenever they get too close to the surface rendering them basically dead because it forces them to float.
2:36 bro was not ready for this💀
at 49:00, the thing on her neck is actually Godzilla's cells, which was confirmed by Takashi Yamazaki in an interview. Apparently, a sound effect was going to be added during that scene, but was removed.
"That building's lookin' at me funny..." XD
This is the best Godzilla film ever made. Great reaction bro! 👍🏿
Nah "you got experience where's your kids" had me rolling 🤣
I am Japanese. As has already been said in other comments, the heroine, Noriko, was alive because she was struck by Godzilla cells that were spewed out along with the rays.
The black bruise you saw on Noriko's neck is the part where Godzilla cells were infected.
It is said that the director originally planned for him to die, but he wanted him to meet Shikishima, so he changed it to a cross-section arrangement.
Legendary takes time to regen like hours after failing to defeat ghidorah. But this is the fastest regen we have seen.
30:18 my man went "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" i love it when he says that lol
A good old fashioned Godzilla movie. I love it. I haven't seen the entire thing, but I intend to. Love the old Godzilla design. This is the Godzilla I grew up on. 🥰
300k congrats
The best thing about this movie is how absolutely everyone loved it, it was made with so much love for the character and some Oscar worthy visual effects, true cinema 🏆🦖
This one of the best movie i've seen this year and one of the best godzilla movie i've seen in a long time just amazing.
Yall know the term "fight or flight"?
This occurs when your in a situation where you have too choose one of these
For exemple: your in a fight and you have too choose to fight or run away
Theres a third option called: "freeze"
For example: you acidently make a fire and your brain chooses this
You basicly just stay there before your brain snaps out of it
Or it can be called E.D.P(emotion driven paralasyis)
Its basically is what it sounds
You enter this when your filled with surprise or fear
More information on this on a episode of a boxing series(idk the name)
On the third episode called "emotion" at the end
Bro was waiting his whole life for this One 💀
I’ve been waiting for this bro I know u gon enjoy this 🔥
I saw this movie 5 times in the theaters, I never saw the black and white version, and I’m kinda disappointed I didn’t see the black and white version
This is the first movie i’ve ever watched 4 times in a movie theater, it’s THAT good
I saw this for my birthday when it first came out it was all in Japanese and had subtitles but it was worth it I didn’t even look at subtitles great reaction ❤ love ya don keep up the amazing work
ABSOLUTELY PEAK MOVIE, THE BEST OF GODZILLA NO DOUBT.
By the way Don, GXK: The New Empire comes out on digital later this month if you didn’t peep already.
this was a beautiful story told about Koichi, Noriko and Akiko in the aftermath of WWII and the state it brought Japan down to. Even if Godzilla wasn't in the story at all, it's still a great human interest story, and I would love to see that version!
Had the opportunity to watch this movie in theaters when it realsed, in black and white. Absolute cinema.
The reason they didn’t run in the boat after the second mine explosion is cause the boat was damaged.
First reaction to this movie from my subscriptions, can’t wait to see more. It was one of my favorite movies of the year
Yesssss I’m so glad you’re watching this!!!
30:16 bro that atomic breath is just insane
The original Godzilla was a villain. Not acting like a hero like in Legendary films. And Minus One is also made by TOHO (The creators of the first ever Godzilla film)
00:54 It may be because they mixed it up with Minus One (1954) which was the original, maybe first, Godzilla movie. Godzilla Minus One (2023) is the remake of the 1954 version.
This move in cinemas was AMAZING its indescribable
49:08 Theory: the splotch on her neck is g cells (godzilla cells) and like in one of the old movies she turns into this big plant monster called biollante and godzilla comes back to life and has to stop her
The scene 49:08 was the result of the radiation when godzilla blasted his atomic breath, and many other survivors probably have it. Expect a sequel in a while (5-10 years as my prediction)
It was G cells
watch her turn into Biollante.
cant lie, been refreshing ur channel to see when the reaction was up lel
Its nice to see your reaction to this Godzilla Movie
Brother...your reaction was on fire. From 30:02 to 30:34. Atomic fire dude. Only reactors I enjoy this much is Kathateshorrormovies and JenMurray when she gets caught off guard. Damn dude. Many, many thanks!!!!
Love this movie, it's just incredibly written
Hands down, the best Godzilla film of the 21st century and the second best film period.
That black thing on her neck at the end……. That is the reason she survived. Her body became hosts for g cells. Remember when it was said that Godzilla “marked” Tokyo as his territory.
this movie is more intense than the shin😂
Noriko totally did a mom move shoving Koichi into the alley before the shockwave hit. She'd clearly fully become Akiko's mother over those two years. Ask any mom about the "mom arm" that she does whenever hitting the brakes in the car a little hard, top stop a child from hitting the dash. :D As for his "standing" in the water I believe his very long tail can be used to maintain buoyancy and keep him upright partly out of the water, like we humans do by distributing our weight when we float on our backs in salt water.
17:32 My Brother straight up said ‚They‘re Dead‘ without hesitation 💀
Ah so he's the VA of Taki in kimi no nawa

HOW DO I WATCH IT?! ITS MY FAVORITE MOVIE AND I HAVENT SEEN IT SINCE DECEMBER
on 49:00
my assumption what is on noriko neck its G-cell (godzilla cell)
maybe when noriko on train she was very very close at godzilla mouth and exposed to radiation from godzilla mouth. why is she stay alive when she get blow by the wind? because the G-Cell (gozilla cell) regenerate her
where are people watching this outside of the theaters? ive been waiting for it to come out on streaming platforms
Shin Godzilla and legendary Godzilla would be able to beat minus one because they’re both three times bigger than him, and then when legendary and shin fight, Legendary would win.
also I love minus one Godzilla, he’s a recreation of the first Godzilla in 1954, the reason Godzilla was created was because he’s a representation of the nuclear bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki because he’s a giant monster that destroys everything in its path, also the reason it’s called minus one, is because Japan is already back to level 1 at end of world war 2, and then a giant monster comes up and destroys it even more and puts it to -1
people in the Train im flying oh im dead 27:22
the infection thing on her neck in the end is how biolante formed and its hinting that there is gonna be a second movie with biollante and godzilla
19 dollars in 1950 is like 240 dollars today
If you ever wanted to watch more godzilla would definitely recommend the orginal 1954 gojira, final wars and the heisei era of movies. All are really good
Youve been corrupted by monsterverse to think godzilla is a protector XD original godzilla was always just a mindless monster who only knew destruction
Mindless yes. But the Beast was in Constant Pain. It’s a beast that only knows pain and can only return that pain 1000 fold!
Strongly disagree on the “mindless” part. Never mindless. But usually just angry and a rage God. Like the Hulk but worse
Thats just shin godzilla @danielramsey6141
LMFAO purists
I feel -1.0 works so well because Godzilla's scenes are only him being a menace. If we saw it too often, the effect might wear off. Compared to others, -1.0 doesn't kill much, but leaves SUCH an impact.
Regarding the Yen conversion, the yen to pound conversion was different back then. In today's equivalent, his sign on pay is equal to about 523 pounds.
They did a re-release of the film, sans color. It was called, ''Godzilla Minus One Minus Color''.
For those who don’t know: this version used the Heisei Era origin
She was killed in the explosion, but some of Godzilla's G cells went into her neck and regenerated her.
Did a simple conversion of the exchange rates to inflation, in 1946 the exchange rate for JPY to USD was 50 yen to $1, so at 3000 yen thats $60 dollars in 1946, or about $970 in todays money, the job was very high paying for the time
I will forever see this movie as a remake of the 1954 Gojira.
