You did a fantastic job. One thing, you missed the little black stripe on passenger side up between the front bumper and wheel. Lol. Turned out great. Keep up the good work.

About 25 years ago I used to make prototypes for an inventor guy who was the retired stuntman for Lee Majors (The Fall guy). He looked just like him. His name was Tom Sutton and he invented the "ball cap buddy" a hat washing cage for washing hats in the washing machine so your hat wouldn't get all messed up....Dude was crazy and wild with a million cool Hollywood stories

The truck on the TV programme was a 1984 GMC High Sierra LWB. It has to be a 1984, because apparently the grille changed the year after after only a couple of years with that design and light cluster. In fact they got through quite a few trucks, because as you can imagine, the stunts etc were hard on the vehicles. In the opening credits you can see one bust through an obstacle, before the front axle promptly collapses. The engineers on set ended up fabricating reinforced chassis to reduce the number of trucks they were writing off. Great programme, loved it as a kid and a lottery win would see a truck like that on my driveway.

Nice job. A little trivia. In the show opening, when you see the truck jump, you will notice the engine is located in the middle and just behind the driver. It can also be seen in a couple of episodes. Pick-ups are front heavy and it would nose dive during a jump.

Great job. That music was the perfect way to end the video. The way it started
    I was sure that it was Craig Chaquico on guitar. A bit jazzy, a bit new age, just his style but then the beat picked up an the guitars got all countryfied. Just what those mid-air poses called for.;

the real truck was an 81 K2500 GMC. This model is pretty close.
Bit of trivia for you. The stunt men on the Fall Guy got tired of waiting for a new truck to be brought up after every atempt at a jump or what not, so they made a jump truck. They took the front drive axles out, and made a plywood cut out to make it look like it was still four wheel drive. Then they moved the engine back, most of it was under the tool box in the back, a little extended into the cab. I don't recall what else they did, but they did a lot to lighten it up especially in the front end. In something like 40 jumps, they broke one bolt. Saved the company a lot of money too, but did they get any credit for it... naw... they're just the stunt guys.
Stunt guys party like there's no tomorrow.

Looks amazing Danny! I can see Colt Seavers and Howie chasing bad guys and jumping over things in your gorgeous truck. To this day I don't understand why Ertl made such crapy versions of T.V. and film cars. They made the best farm equipment diecasts on the planet and you'd think that they could do the same thing with their other castings. I remember when this was released and was so disappointed that I didn't buy one. But after seeing what can be done by a talented builder as yourself, I am wanting to find one and try to make it look as good as you make yours. Just wish I had the equipment to make the decals like you do. Can't wait to see what you build next my friend. Have a great weekend!

Is it just me,or does the roof on the driver's side look slightly lower?🤔
COLT's truck had a shorter front end & a really long back end.
    But,as you said,this isn't a very authentic casting.
The front grille, however, looks exactly like the real thing (after season 1).
The colour of the truck in the pilot episode (as seen in the first shot of the opening sequence) is completely different!
Metallic gun-metal grey with wood-panel detailing on the sides, without any "Fall Guy" logos at all, anywhere.
I've always liked that colour scheme more.
It's one of my all time favourite shows, just LOVE it❗❤️🖤💜💙💚💛🧡♥️
    (Got Seasons 1 & 2 on DVD.
Halfway through Season 3 now, downloaded from the internet.
Someone's REALLY GOT TO get Seasons 3-5 out on DVD,NOOOW❗❗❗
    - SHOUT FACTORY,VEI,20TH CENTURY FOX,are you guys listening???)
That said,it just bothers me how the truck lifts off without any ramp (or excuse for) in sight❗
(Now,some scenes did have a reason to justify or explain the jump, but in later seasons, most didn't).
K.I.T.T. has "Turbo Boost",so that makes perfect sense!😚
The "COYOTE",HARDCASTLE's Truck,"THE A-TEAM"/B.A.'s van & the "GENERAL LEE" (did I leave anyone out?) ALL had reasons to justify their jumps!🤭
But for an "ordinary" car (or in this case, truck),to just lift-off without as much as a mound of dirt or SOMETHING to explain it taking to the skies, just bugs the hell out of me!🤔
One question,if ya don't mind (just to save me the trouble of experimenting & finding out for myself).
What would happen if you didn't strip the chrome or paint from the plastic parts first,& just went over them with the primer & new chrome or paint?
    What would happen?
    - Thnx.
