unfortunately , these games are rerecorded fro emulator.80% of special effects (like material, glow, flares, fog, atmosphere),are not active.... this is the original th-cam.com/video/IfHuxb6APjU/w-d-xo.html
loved this! thank you. I love dreamcast some of my happiest memories is because of the console and to see a complete list so I can see what games i missed out on. super great
21:05 wow i dunno if this game is good or not but that camera perspective, the enviroment and the navigation under the water looks amazing, never saw that in a game before, even in this year
the reason that it failed overall was because of two major factors... 1. SEGA lost a ton of money between the SEGA 32X, SEGA CD and sadly the SEGA Saturn, the Dreamcast was intended to be their last hurrah, no matter how it faired. 2. Sony was dominating the market at the time, only the SEGA diehards bought the Dreamcast over the legendary PS2. Nintendo was also financially hit with the N64 and Gamecube's failure, but they survived since their fanbase was fairly larger than SEGA's, Sony was killing it back then and that's no joke at all.
Fantastic video as usual, Dreamcast was an amazing console for its time, the catalogue was lacking the many mainstream genre games that other western consoles had, instead it had a huge percentage of japan focused graphic novels, board games, fishing simulators. Technically was ahead of its time but the catalogue didn’t make justice to it.
never had a dreamcast, but something about dreamcast games hit different. they strike a good balance between that retro simplicity, and the capability of new hardware... only to be mostly forgotten.
Latest Added Dreamcast Games 1. Power Stone 2. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. 3. 90 Minutes 4. Shenmue 2 5. NBA 2K2 6. Propeller Arena 7. NFL 2K2 8. Sega Bass Fishing 2 9. Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX. 10. Phantasy Star Online Version 2.
Man, the Dreamcast had a good library of awesome and unique games. Too bad Sega of Japan's poor management of the company during the end of the the Genesis and throughout the Saturn doomed the system from the outset.
I was lucky enough to have one as a child when it came out. It's such a weird occurrence because it came and went so fast, and as someone who's very nerdy and has a great memory of all the tech gadgets I had growing up, the Dreamcast feels like a dream that you woke up from too soon and couldn't go back to sleep to capture it. I'm in my later 30's now, but one day I'd like to get a Dreamcast and my old Samsung CRT back and finally beat Code Veronica so my 12-year-old self can get closure on that.
Dreamcast to me is prolly the most underappreciated console of all time and if the pirates didn't run it into the ground I think it may have been an astounding success and we would still have Sega making hardware in 2021!!!...
The games on DreamCast running so fast,, nothing to jealous about arcades.. House of the Dead, Virtual Striker 2, Virtual Tennis 2, Daytona USA,Sega Rally 2... One of the best consoles ever!!!
Man some of these games are just insanely good still, that Japanese soccer game had better motion capturing then alot of games do to.Dreamcast is legendary, and Shenmue to this day holds its own graphically and thats a fact!.as does Soul Calibur and Dead or Alive 2 etc.
Great video for getting game ideas..Wierd to think Dreamcast is considered retro now.. Especially since when I think about I'm brought back to the nostalgic feelings I'd get as a kid thinking this was the future of gaming. :/ It was only Microsoft took the torch I guess..
Best console ever. Here's a fun fact. It's 2021........Dreamcast is back online. Grab yourself a DC, a DreamPi, copies of Quake 3 Arena, Alien Front, Gundam Federation Vs Zeon DX and Phantasy Star Online....... And go get you some.
Thanks. This helped me a lot to better understand why the DC failed. I had no idea the system had so many bad games. Actually, majority of games exclusive to the EU/US are. Not all of course, but I remember very well Nightmare Creatures being one of the worst games I played my entire life. Also, many of the games I liked back then haven't aged too well tbh. Still the best system I ever owned.
I think US catalog was a little better (except for shmups or fighting games), but some videogames was ported from PS1. Fortunately I can play my favs on my japanese console :D In general, region exclusives tastes are US: cars / EU: sports / JP: rpgs- shmups - visual novels - kofs - table games.
The Dreamcast was a much more capable system than the PS2, but Sega were fighting an unwinnable battle going against Sony after the success of the original Playstation. If Sega had the support of developers that Sony did and actually got their own better looking version of games that were released on PS2, I think we could be playing the DC3 or DC4 today.
In my opinion, the Dreamcast is Sega's second best console and one of the best consoles in the world, it was so ahead of its time, it's a shame it had such a short life.
Hi, i have a question, I added up the total of games from the 3 separated videos of dreamcast games and the total of games was 628 meanwhile this video have 636 games, why?

It is hard to accept the Dreamcast was stopped prematurely when you see how many games were developed in only a few years.
What impress me the most about Dreamcast graphics is how good was the antialiasing and texture filtering compared to n64 and even ps2.
You watched gameplay from an emulator. And most of dreamcast games are animation not 3d.
Also it was generation of PS 1 not PS 2
So it was great technology
@@StrongRespect the Dreamcast is considered a 6th generation console, which is in fact the same generation as the PS2
@@just2scare maybe but with the same price as ps 1
It looks even better with the vga cable.
I loved the Dreamcast, ahead of it's time, hopefully one day they'll do a mini version.

dreamcast has ps1 vibes with ps2 graphics, awesome
The graphics are even better than ps2
Yeah it feels like it hits that sweet spot between PS1 and PS2.
man i remember burning my dreamcast till the laser broke by playing hundreds of hours of the evolution series :P

Jesus I didn’t realize how much anime is on the dream cast. I swear, at least 35 % of these games are anime games.
Probably 50%.
And the rest are fighters and racing
No wonder why
Thats y dreamcast is dead. When xbox and ps making some adventure games and sega making games like 16bit
It's even moreso on the Saturn
I am addicted to this videos... +10

@@ibrahimag-arts5302kkkkkk😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
loved this! thank you. I love dreamcast some of my happiest memories is because of the console and to see a complete list so I can see what games i missed out on. super great
21:05 wow i dunno if this game is good or not but that camera perspective, the enviroment and the navigation under the water looks amazing, never saw that in a game before, even in this year
Maneater and Jaws are similar.
It's always good to review the games from the library of video game titles.
636 games!! I thought the library was way smaller. No way this thing should have failed the way it did
It did because the wide japanese library market.
the reason that it failed overall was because of two major factors...
38:04 That football game looks wayyy ahead of time wow! Look at the smooth stepover animations!
Best movie of 2018!
haha! thanks
my favorite too :DD
2024😂🎉🎉🎉
Отличное видео! Спасибо за Вашу работу!
Нет проблем, я рад, что вам понравилось.
@Virtual Gaming Library - VGL Nani?
Thank you so much for this video !
Masterful work as always thank you VGL
Goddamn. So many visual novels.
This is a fantastic job, and much needed, thank you friend!
1:22:43 Skies of Arcadia, i love that game
Best gaming catalogues ever made! this channel is brilliant! thx so much for the info and good presentation of the games!
1:36 why is he shooting Amiga balls?
Good question. Commodore computers and Sega consoles are my favourite gaming systems. The rivalry between these beauties never feel right.
This channel is a goldmine
Consola infravalorada, buen diseño , grandes juegos , exclusivos , muy buenos gráficos que envejecieron bien
Lastima que no tubo grandes juegos como la play 2 o el xbox
never had a dreamcast, but something about dreamcast games hit different. they strike a good balance between that retro simplicity, and the capability of new hardware... only to be mostly forgotten.
Latest Added Dreamcast Games
1. Power Stone
2. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
3. 90 Minutes
4. Shenmue 2
5. NBA 2K2
6. Propeller Arena
7. NFL 2K2
8. Sega Bass Fishing 2
9. Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX.
10. Phantasy Star Online Version 2.
Some of these Japanese games look wonderfully weird.
Well maybe but I dont like it personally
Best console ever for having fun for 30 mins, btw love your work, appreciate it so much!
Best TH-cam videos. Thank you :)

great video!!
My favorite sega system of all time and owned ALOT of these games. How I miss the dreamcast days. :(
The Dreamcast had a certain glow about it.
I always felt Sega visuals were colourfully bright and appealing especially the arcade games.
I felt that way also, I think it was Power Stone and Soul Caliber that pointed that out to me
@@twangyeh Exactly it’s soo vibrant. SEGA Arcade games have those glow aswell.
Man, the Dreamcast had a good library of awesome and unique games. Too bad Sega of Japan's poor management of the company during the end of the the Genesis and throughout the Saturn doomed the system from the outset.
Counted about 135 games worth playing
47:34 - It's Mahvel Baybee
NICE JOB!!!! Shenmue.. god what a game
Thanks Gulyás, Shenmue is great! I love it! Did you played the remastered version for PC?

Good job!
Thank you so much! I was looking for a game a vaguely remembered and found it thanks to this video! thanks!!
you're a legend
I hope there is a list of only Dreamcast exclusives games to see what the hardware was capable of
Отличное видео. Наконец нашел как назывались те игры, в которые играл в детстве.
че за игры были?)
@@никитаполяков-ж8я Test Drive 6, Pixar Toy Story 2, Dead or Alive 2, Silent Scope, Spec Ops 2 - это из тех, чтоискал названия.

The games on DreamCast running so fast,, nothing to jealous about arcades.. House of the Dead, Virtual Striker 2, Virtual Tennis 2, Daytona USA,Sega Rally 2...
One of the best consoles ever!!!
Great work bro
thanks for your work
Man some of these games are just insanely good still, that Japanese soccer game had better motion capturing then alot of games do to.Dreamcast is legendary, and Shenmue to this day holds its own graphically and thats a fact!.as does Soul Calibur and Dead or Alive 2 etc.
57:41 It came out in europe as well.
30:09 That's no is godzilla maximum impact, that are godzilla generations 1
Nice list. My favorites on here are jet set radio, project justice, shenmue, sonic adventure 1, 2, power stone, super magnetic neo, kao the kangaroo
Great video for getting game ideas..Wierd to think Dreamcast is considered retro now.. Especially since when I think about I'm brought back to the nostalgic feelings I'd get as a kid thinking this was the future of gaming. :/ It was only Microsoft took the torch I guess..
Love your video!
Amazing work😍. Your channel is my favorite.. Finally I found a place that has the videos of all game😍. Please keep going
Lol
What A Bloody Tease :) x
1:14:14 if you wana party 😆😆
05:34 Bangai-O👍
1:41:44 I see what you did there.
Dang there are so many weird games on the Dreamcast 🤣
back when gaming was allowed to not be MP trash
Dreamcast has like a dozen great games, hundreds of visual novels, and like 50 baseball games where the players are chibi for some reason
I think US catalog was a little better (except for shmups or fighting games), but some videogames was ported from PS1. Fortunately I can play my favs on my japanese console :D
In general, region exclusives tastes are US: cars / EU: sports / JP: rpgs- shmups - visual novels - kofs - table games.
To bad
In my opinion, the Dreamcast is Sega's second best console and one of the best consoles in the world, it was so ahead of its time, it's a shame it had such a short life.
Tremendo trabajo gracias
Amazing games , i love Dreamcast ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🇧🇷👏👏🇧🇷
A awesome console what deservs Better and more. And Sehenmue.. one of the greatess game ever created.
