It’s also worth noting ‘25 is City of Evil’s 20th as well.. even tho A7X has said they don’t fancy a whole “Play (insert album) in full type tour, they seem like they might be game for a few strategic dates.
I honestly never understood why Trivium an Bullet never toured togetether when I was younger, it was genuinely my dream tour as a kid. I remember when each album came out and they were huge among the greebos, we'd all be discussing their solos and riffs, awesome times. Finally so happy to them together after seeing them each live so many times
@@agentofchaos8942 Yea, i saw them around that time too in Maine (Trivium comes here a lot since Corey is from here). Trivium opened for Bullet. was great, small little local venue. Not sure if they'll be up this way during this tour. Havent seen the locations yet.
Looking back, I feel so incredibly blessed to have had my middle/high school years in the early and mid 00s. That stretch of 2002 to 2008 was awesome. Soooo many icons these days were playing clubs of like 250 or less. What a period to grow up a metalhead.
Trivium, Killswitch, Lamb of God and All That Remains were the standouts for me in my high school days. Listened religiously to these bands on my iPod shuffle on the train to school here in New Zealand. Bullet always sounded great to me too but I definitely got more into them in later years. Love them now of course.
My two favorite bands in highschool. Literally had every Album of both of you guys. First time i heard BFMV was on Madden 05.. And the first time i heard Trivium was Shogun on a Music Choice channel in 2008. Got a chance to see both of you live and different tours. You guys got me through highschool and beyond. Thanks for all the years.
I knew metal existed but didn't get into it even more so until just recently, and Trivium did that for me. Never thought I'd be a fan after being a hip-hop and reggaeton fan for so long.
Trivium was my first band that made me fall in love with metal too! My brother would listen to the monotone screaming metal and I hated it then he introduced me to Trivium and boom I was hooked
@kmilli0313 that's awesome man! It's something about their sound that just hit different than other bands. Goes to show there's always a band or artist out there for everybody.
I was an old school metal purist (maiden, testament, priest, etc) until I was 17, when I opened my mind to killswitch, trivium, ABR, bullet, parkway, etc... best decision I ever made. It has 2 of my favorite things: heaviness, and melody. It works so well together.
These 2 bands got me through a heavy break up back when I had just turned 21, can't believe that was 20 years ago, like Matt said time goes by so quickly. Since then you have both been my go-to bands along with a couple of others when I hit the gym and need to lift some weights. I always used to do my sprint training to "Like Light To The Flies" always making sure to hit max speed at around 2:41 in the song haha! Diolch yn fawr for your music lads, wishing you all happiness and good health my Welsh and American brothers.
These 2 bands absolutely defined my discovery of my love for metal. I had dabbled with post-hardcore and knew nothing about heavy music. My friends showed me these 2 bands and it was over. Of course I had to pay homage to old school thrash, but you guys really got the stoke going! Thank you for making such incredible music.
In 2006 I was 10 years old and saw Trivium for the first time supporting Iron Maiden and I was so overwhelmed to be in the same room as Trivium, now I'm seeing them this month for I think my 23rd time. I've even been lucky enough to of met them in 2023. I think since 2006 I've missed them twice in the UK haha
I was in a band in SW Wales during the whole early 2000s scene and it was f-ing awesome. I loved playing Queens Hall Narberth and Minnies in Haverfordwest 😜
Man, these 2 bands were really what got me into heavier shit later on. Trivium, BFMV, Avenged....it's so cool to see them together talking about the past, inspirations, funny stories, trivia etc. i want a part 2 now haha!
Wolverhampton had the best metal shows, the first Trivium show there we were screaming their name & the place was electric ❤ both bands have been in my life for over 20yrs so this tour is gonna mean so much to me, can’t wait ❤
I was a bit late on the Trivium train. Didn’t start getting into them until around ten ish years ago, first new release I heard as a fan was Sin and the Sentence, but these guys are my favorites. Got me through so many hard times, pulled me out of so many dark places, inspired me to keep on pushing and do some writing of my own. Bullet didn’t come until after but The Poison has a special part of my heart. Hopefully seeing them both in April 🥲❤️
❤💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥 I greatly appreciate both of you I listened to both of your bands and I wanted to just also collaborate and let you know that if you look at the titles of your songs maybe it's just me but if you look at the titles of your songs like when Trivium did the hate from your heart and then BFMV has Tears Don't Fall it's amazing to see that collaboration with two separate bands and how you are so in sync with the names of your songs and how it tells a beautiful story❤
Listened to both bands in the early 2000s and Trivium really captured me, been a big fan since Ember to Inferno. Can't believe it's been over 20 years.
The moment that made me realize, that you guys were the "SHIT!!!" was the Kerrang, Master Of Puppets 20th Aniversary. OH MY GOD. Trivium fucking playing Master and Bullet playing Welcome Home. Still to this day, its a something I listen to and it takes me back to that era. Fucking awesome. Cant wait to see you guys, next month here in Lisbon. Its gonna be great!
Crazy trivium used to play in my garage in high school, of course with Matt being the only remaining original member. Hell I remember him trying out for the band. Just crazy
Can't wait to see both bands in Corbin KY in May!! I know enough parts to play through both sets I bet cmon guys let me get up there and hit a few riffs! Rock On!!!
2006 Download Festival........ I was there. I remember you being bumped up to main stage, Het was wearing one of your tshirts I think. I saw Bullet as well, it was an awesome weekend. So happy you're touring together. I think you should do another Ember and the Infernos gig, that was so much fun. See you at Bloodstock 🤘🤘
A friend of mine at school showed me trivium in 2005, we were 13.. He would send me windows wav files playing like light to the flies (i also had the like light to the flies version with the "iii will seeeeend"). I was already playing guitar and stumbled upon this.. It made me a better guitar player. My friend made me a better guitar player. Sadly he commited suicide a year later. Now i'm 32 and I still listen to fucking trivium (and some BFMV). I miss you Kevin and long live fucking Trivium. Also, i'm going to palacio vistalegre on the 27th of february to see trivium for the first time. Let's goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Two of my ABSOLUTE favorite bands of all time, huge motivators and influences on me as a guitarist and overall person, touring together. HELL YES I'll be to at least one of these shows. Only band missing is A7X Is it too late to add them to the ticket?? Please Matt and Matt 🙏🙏🙏 Let's get the other great Matt (Shadows) involved
Ozzfest 2005. Trivium was on the 2nd stage at like 9:00 AM. I said to myself why the f are these guys the first band to perform. They were amazing and I've been a fan since
Growing up with Limp Bizkit ,Korn and all the new metal stuff .Back in the days in 2005 ,i listend to Hand of Blood from Bullet.Great and awesome Track. From that day im a huge fan of Bullet .Love the old metalcore style.Bullet,KSE,Trivium,Unearth and Chimaira.
Throw killswitch engage in here and youve got the three most influential bands for me when i started playing guitar. I learned the poison by pausing on each note and moving one fret a time on my guitar until they matched, taught me to learn songs by ear.
You guys are going to get along with Josh + the Sylosis guys so well on the US tour, I can already tell. Lots of the same influences, same time period coming up, etc.
I don't know how you could pull it off, but what would be sick is a legit co-headliner merged show where both bands are on the stage at the same time, lay 2-3 songs each, then pass the baton, and go back and forth like that the whole set. Finale is both bands playing with each other for their encore songs. That'd be fucking rad as hell.
Ohhhh lord, I sure hope these guys see this. That is one hell of an idea. Phil Collins basically had the equivalent of two bands playing for him in the background, so it can be done. Then again, that was one man's music, so it was much easier to keep it arranged.
I wish yall would have let M. Tuck speak more. I wanted to hear more about their exposure here in the US in 2008/9. Where was the rest of the BFMV members?
Add Atreyu & Avenged to the table? You four bands were my mordern big four in midschool. A tour needs to happen with BFMV, TRIVIUM, ATREYU & AVENGED SEVENFOLD. That tour would be insane! Considering all you guys are friends as well.
TRIVIUM, BFMV, A7X... They were my youth... .glad to see them like this now in 2025!
The Matts
If the 3 bands play together they would break the Internet
Zakk Wylde bigged them 3 up because because they played guitar solo's.
The three Matts of metal for sure!!!
It’s also worth noting ‘25 is City of Evil’s 20th as well.. even tho A7X has said they don’t fancy a whole “Play (insert album) in full type tour, they seem like they might be game for a few strategic dates.
Trivium, BFMV, A7X that was the holy trinity at the time ❤
the matts😂
Alex: And I'm here too
And thank God he is here lol
Paolo feat. Matt and Matt
And some Corey
He's trying to do the right thing, he wasn't part of the bad during the time so he lets the others talk about it.
He's still beloved
Reminds me of Rob in Metallica. Interviews always seem to focus on the early days when he wasn't there. Must be a bit awkward
Take a shot every time Alex talks. You’re good to drive.
LOL. I dont blame him, he can't talk much about stuff he wasn't a part of.
Better game would be take a shot everytime someone says 'like'
I agree with Alex's points.
I feel like I'm 15 years old again
Exactly 💯
Same here 😊 and I'm going to see them this coming April.
Me too 😊
@ASHERTHEARCTICFOX Awesome 😊 🤘❤️
Me too man
I honestly never understood why Trivium an Bullet never toured togetether when I was younger, it was genuinely my dream tour as a kid. I remember when each album came out and they were huge among the greebos, we'd all be discussing their solos and riffs, awesome times. They did play a few shows together. Saw them co-headline a show in Buffalo NY back in like, 2017-2018 I want to say. Good show too.
@@agentofchaos8942 Yea, i saw them around that time too in Maine (Trivium comes here a lot since Corey is from here). Trivium opened for Bullet. was great, small little local venue. Not sure if they'll be up this way during this tour. Havent seen the locations yet.
@@agentofchaos8942 yea i saw them in Nashville in 2018. Great smaller show. I'll see them again with my kid this year for this 20th anniversary tour
Alex is like me when I'm with more than 2 friends
You have more than 2 friends? Must be nice
Twenty years listening to those guys music and I'm still freaking hyped for what's next. Hell yeah!!🤘🤘
I'm old enough to remember Paulo with long hair.. 😢
and matt too
Less of a round table and more of a “listen to Paulo talk”
I never realized how much I wouldn't like him
Looking back, I feel so incredibly blessed to have had my middle/high school years in the early and mid 00s. That stretch of 2002 to 2008 was awesome. Soooo many icons these days were playing clubs of like 250 or less. What a period to grow up a metalhead.

You guys are BOTH the reason why I got into metal period. This is such a full circle moment for me.
These 2 bands got me through a heavy break up back when I had just turned 21, can't believe that was 20 years ago, like Matt said time goes by so quickly.

you ever get another shot at love bro?
Tuck & Mathias duel vocals will blow everyone away that hasn’t witnessed it before. So tight
I'm 35 and it doesnt feel like 2005 was that long ago but it was 😭😭😭
I'm 32 and feel exactly the same way.
It is a very long time ago 2 decades ago
Same here bro , I feel old as hell
I was born in 2005 😂
It’s 20 years ago brother, let’s stick to the feeling and not rationalise stuff 🥲
Been a fan of Trivium since 2006. Hearing the tour stories and insights from back in the day was fascinating. More content like this please. 🙏🏻
This is great! I'm really getting excited for the tour.
Thanks for doing this for the fans. Always a huge fan of both bands. Nobody else captures that sound like we had it in 2006.
Loved this paulo interview
Seeing how excited you lot are to bring this anarchic tour upon us makes me so excited!!!
These 2 bands absolutely defined my discovery of my love for metal. I had dabbled with post-hardcore and knew nothing about heavy music. My friends showed me these 2 bands and it was over. Of course I had to pay homage to old school thrash, but you guys really got the stoke going!

You guys set my musical tastes to this day. I'm going to be seeing you the end of the month. Cant wait.
Trivium, BFMV, and Children of Bodom…man they shaped my taste for life
Bought the children of bodom live album cause it looked cool and life was never the same after
Fantastic input from Alex 😂 absolutely buzzing for the glasgow show on Tuesday 🤘🤘🤘
Didn’t realize Paulo could talk so much 😂
Great video! Can't wait to see you guys on April 23rd 🤘🤘
In 2006 I was 10 years old and saw Trivium for the first time supporting Iron Maiden and I was so overwhelmed to be in the same room as Trivium, now I'm seeing them this month for I think my 23rd time. I've even been lucky enough to of met them in 2023.

Dedication! I too was 10 in 2006 and discovered them in 05.

I was in a band in SW Wales during the whole early 2000s scene and it was f-ing awesome. I loved playing Queens Hall Narberth and Minnies in Haverfordwest 😜

I second that ❤ So many memories of seeing great bands at the Wulfrun back in the day!

This is gonna be my first concert after many years of listening to you and BFMV since 2012, can't fuckin wait to see y'all kill it at the O2!
THE two bands from my youth ❤ see you in vienna!!
Bmfv, trivium, a7x & CoB shaped my teen years!!!! Can’t wait for this tour! 😊

❤🫶🔥 Huge fan of both of y'all since day 1.
20 years since I got that Kerrang! CD with pull harder and her voice resides. That was a core memory.
Hugs from Portugal. 🇵🇹🤘🏻
I saw that Taste of Chaos tour with Bullet, Atreyu, and A7X in Atlanta. It was amazing.
I was there in 2006 and I'm still there
Damn bro did they play at IKEA? How you still there? 🤣
@Abaddon92 far out bro
Take a shot everytime Paolo says "like"
Hate to point it out but this is a rectangular table… jokes aside you all helped shape my life and I can’t wait to see you twice in the next months
This is amazing
See you guys in April! Got VIPs for BOTH Trivium & Bullet 🙌
See you guys in DC❤
Ascendancy and the Poison are the two best metalcore albums!
Crazy trivium used to play in my garage in high school, of course with Matt being the only remaining original member. Hell I remember him trying out for the band. Just crazy

According to google, All That Remains supported Trivium in TJ's Newport on the 2005 Ascendancy tour. Home town!!!
To this day, I listen to both these bands early stuff, heavy.
Bullet and Trivium were my introduction/gateway to metal music. And I get to feel 13 again next week when I see them both in Manchester 😄
BFMV is like 80% Matt man .. this guy is doing everything all interviews, records all guitar/bass parts etc .. the pressure must be immense for him 🍻
Can’t wait
Matt Tuck is clearly such a chill guy, he just gets kinda drowned out by Matt Heafy, Corey and Paulo 😂
Two of my ABSOLUTE favorite bands of all time, huge motivators and influences on me as a guitarist and overall person, touring together.
HELL YES
I'll be to at least one of these shows.
Only band missing is A7X
Is it too late to add them to the ticket??

I can't recall any other bands becoming big at that time like Bullet did, bands coming from this exact place and scene-like they talked about.
Jeff and Ginge are legends! They recorded a couple songs with my old band!
Paolo thinks he's the main character

Metallica made me got me into metal. Bullet, Trivium and KSE made me truly fall in love with metal
Bullet for my Trivium. Trivium my Valentine.
Love to see you guys together.
my dad is taking to one of there concerts soon cant wait.
Bfmv ❤. Trivium ❤
Anyone else hear "Your tears don't fall, they crash around meeeeehhhh" whenever he talks??
You guys are going to get along with Josh + the Sylosis guys so well on the US tour, I can already tell. Lots of the same influences, same time period coming up, etc.
these 2 bands shaped my music taste
i love matt mentioning Funeral For A Friend

Trivium and Bullet literally sitting down to figure out how to give Gabe the best concert in Vegas. What nice fellas 🤫🤔

8:40 Trivium played at TJ's on 13th September 2005. Ironically TJ's is in the same city as where the aforementioned Skindred was formed.
Alex is just happy to be there
Matt isn't bald anymore? Man, I'm glad. That look made him appear terrifying, NGL.
Apparently not, some months ago he discover he wasn’t getting bald and started to grow his hair a bit haha
which matt though ?😂
We need a tour with Avenged, Trivium, Bullet, Atreyu and Saving Darkness
💕💕💕💕💕
Bullet Matt is hearing some of these Trivium stories and kinda wishing he was in Trivium too.
See you guys April 12th.
Brasil ❤
Trivium with Matt Tuck
this got to be new collabs album
