It still is really hard to believe that I was part of this. It was the best thing that happened to me and I am soo so thankful. I would come back any time when you organise this again. Maybe for me fall would be the most tempting season, but summer also🤗🤗🩵✨

So nice! Me (Celine) and my boyfriend (Wesley) are from The Netherlands and are going to live permanently in Sollefteå kommun (Långsele) from september this year. We discovered the area by your videos and when we visited it a couple of times we fell in love. We would like to connect and help with future events and of course join them to meet new people! 🙌🏻

WOW! So nice to have all those people out there. I was just wondering how this came together because I've been watching your videos and I have a paid subscription but I didn't see any notification about this event and you didn't bring it up in your videos. But I'm glad it came together. Everyone looked like they were having a good time. I think personally the best time would be toward the end of winter. That way there is still snow coming, but not too much, and days are longer so everyone can have more time outdoors. I think for many people, they have never seen snow, so it would be new. And snow is a big deal in northern Sweden, you spend a lot of the year in snow. But you wouldn't want it in the dark winter months, because you cannot enjoy the outdoors as much and see as much. I like all the activities you have chosen. The Yoga class was a nice touch. Maybe an afternoon doing crafts, or a cooking class with Swedish recipes. Maybe a little Swedish 101 language class or a little cultural background. But regardless when you do it, you should keep doing it. Maybe once a year or so. Have a great time!
Yes! You should do one for each season that can showcase the amazing nature and activites of each part of the year.
Spring bursting forth with new life. Endless summer nights. Harvesting the bounties of autumn.
Id love to see some folks working to build a cabin, planting a garden, fishings and foraging and visiting the town for a significant sweedish holiday to show traditions and how they are done in a more remote region.

I’d like to move to northern Sweden for a few months next winter to see how it is… even summer too…. I’d like to know where I can rent a house?. I’m from Ireland and I’m living in USA now but moving back to Mallorca & France asap with my two hounds Louis & Ruthie. How would non Nordic dogs adapt? Does everyone in town speak English? I’m interested in studying Swedish to compare it to Irish as I’ve noticed there’s a few similar words. Afterall the Vikings did conquer my town in Ireland! 🥰☘️🇮🇪💚

Great video, I really enjoyed it! I think having it in the fall would be really cool, as the weather would be perfect for most I imagine. Also, having the group tour around different things that Sollefteå offers (restaurants, stores, entertainment options, etc.) would be neat. Or, have "profiles" of people where you interview a few select individuals about where they are from, what they do for work, their family, and why they decided to volunteer for this opportunity. It would be neat to learn more about your next group of people.

We are a couple of Polish living in the UK and are planning to move to the Sweden in a few years to live a peaceful life in this beautiful country surrounded by nature.

I would be up for anything, kayaking or wild river rafting in the summer. Hikes in the hills but would also want to try the full on winter adventure.

My opinion is that it was all the exposure to nature earlier in the day that would later give this serene and releasing effect from yoga. Nature will do that, for sure.

Dear Kalle, this has been SO magical to watch, such a beautiful and meaningful experience for all those people from every part of the world! We follow you and your lifestyle with passion and joy and being part of such a fantastic “family”, community, is just magical! THIS is the content that I love to watch on TH-cam! It reminds me of my 8 months living and working in Tromsø, northern Norway, which felt like a dream, I was in my happy place there (I come from Switzerland) and I would definitely LOVE to join one of your amazing group experiences!
Anything from walking in the forest picking berries, activities on the snow, watching all the colors changing in autumn, maybe we could help you build something you need help with on your property 😃 eheh

I grew up in northern Minnesota. While I didn't partake of going into water (where the ice was chopped off) I have done these things. The cross country skiing. Downhill skiing. Ice skating. Sledding. Walking to school in -20 F weather. Rode on a snowmobile (of a neighbor) Dug a snowcave in my yard. (Elementary school age) I'm glad you had fun. Frozen ice on lakes got to 2 feet or more thick. Others went ice fishing. No thank you to the "ice bathing". I got cold enough doing those other things and thankfully avoided frostbite.....

I really enjoyed watching this event and sharing with my wife who also enjoys watching kalle and his growing family in beautiful Sweden with its raw nature. I am a little jealous but need to be here for our children while they make their start in life as young adults however watching for a few years if kalle can make that leap anyone can. I'm not a fan of the cold but loved Germany in the snow a few winters ago and realise that English snow is not the same as it's not as cold so ends up being ice and slush. I would love to see Sweden and meet kalle & co. The group all seemed to have their own ideas and I enjoyed seeing people share their feelings openly which is refreshing. Keep up the good work. Hopefully we will see you on the next event

I would love to come for the next one. As idea I would like in the summer at the summer solistice, fire festival and all kinds of outdoor and nature activities, hiking, fishing, swimming, flower crown making and dance in the summer night. Maybe some oldschool traditional skill learning, i.e.: basket weaving, yarn spinning from wool with the Talasbuan yt channel family. :)

What a great video, Kalle! I’m already coming next summer for whatever plus Urkult! This video was basically my childhood in Canada with XC skiing, snowshoes, snowmobiles, and lots of snow! No ice bathing, though, but I’ve promised to give it a shot at the lake this August. And *maybe* come for the next winter event! I’m not much of a fan of winter any more, but I’m a big fan of camaraderie!
I guess, now that I think about it, I’m coming *this* summer to Urkult and Sollefteå.

Very reassuring that no matter from where, and despite technology, people still want and need to connect. We are all still nervous big kids inside but are brave enough to face change and challenge. What a great lesson and experience.
