He’s been doing it for so long that the way he explains it makes it so easy to understand
Right words, movements, tricks and demeanor, he’s a master on his trade
Thanks a lot!
I’m 56 YO and I’m going to do my very first window tint
With your help I will make it happen, with a few mistakes on my side, 😅

@@Octavariam Absolutely amazing. Best decision I've ever made😎
there are so many good tint videos but what makes this great is all in the details, the smoothness of your motion, the subtle confidence.
Thanks for this. I’ve done my quarter windows and rear window, now im ready for the the real test. Used some cheap tint for a practice with the pattern already but the techniques on your vid should help me get a great diy result
Appreciate the video! I’m about a month in with tinting and I was kinda struggling with cutting the film with the edges along the window and this helps! Ty.
I have to say brother, your videos are awesome. I can't afford to go to school so I watch your videos every chance I get and practice on my own car. I pray that's enough to get me going because I really want to make this my career and I'm no spring chicken. Patience and attention to detail are a couple of my best traits so I pray that I can be successful
Fantastic!!! Thorough and informative with great tips...a real professional!!
I've been watching a lot of your videos, man you are the best trainer out there.

You are the man!!,thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I just learned so much from this!! Thank you so much!
Thanks brother. You make it look so easy. God bless you
Thank you for all of the great detail!
A true artist. So many tinters now rely only on the plotter and the top edge is pre cut etc. So with window shapes not being the same, u have the hideous top line showing of bare glass some times. It amazes me of how many tinters have no clue what filing the edge is on window tint film.
GOOD JOB EXPLAINING THE LITTLE DETAILS. THANK U
I'll have to try this method next time I take a swing at tinting our car (last time didn't go so well).
It's pretty old so it's a perfect candidate for some cheap $10 tint attempts haha
Best tint install demo I've seen
I tried tinting a window for first time and ended up with a inch gap in the bottom why is that and after i re done it i ended up with tiny bubbles
thank you for the video man you've been a great help

Hi I like your videos they way you explain
Is there way I can come to take classes from you because I’m having hard time on tinting especially on cutting.
Awesome!! Thank you.
Hey shawn on a 2017 Acura RDX do you have to remove the whole panel in order to bottom load.
Hello very nice video, you explain so good thank you a lot have a nice week-end, (Loic Strasbourg France)
Thanks for taking the time to put this video together! A lot of great and helpful tips on this!
Thank you very much

Great video but how do you cut out the pattern if you got vent visors installed already
Thank u brother
Ur the best man. Thanks
This is amazing thank you
I want to do just 8in down and have visors on windshield and side windows on my Peterbilt. Do I just use tape to create the bottom edge and follow same process?
This video helped me more than 100 other videos did
Thanks.Good job.
Thanks for the detail
Hi
What angle do you use when cutting top edge of the window tint that is on thr window?
Thanks! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Incredible !!!
Awesome video
Amazing Work 👍😃
I can watch these for hours
Right like shifting it back before cutting the bottom ? I noticed he only shifted to the left, once then roxeesws to cut both sides . Is this the correct way?
Great help.
Very good instructor
😊watching from philippines
I don't understand why some videos it seems people are shifting the sides and sometimes they're not? How do we know when we need to shift it? Thank you for these videos!
Hi mate,
What dryer sheet are you useing…in fron France and I can’t find any here…thank you
Awesome job cheeeeeerrssss
Good job friend
thank brother
Good thing they sell pre cut tint for your cars now days :)
Man I’m trying to tint my eclipse and the side mirrors are in the way and the windows are crazy curved and the tint keeps snagging onto the window weather gasket
Thanks my friend i got it
Hai mate, please show the installation process of tinting a range rover, any model...
Great job love the extra details, some Other videos I’ve watched have suggested at the end mounting it on the outside and taking a heat gun to give it a little more of a curve and fit but do you think that’s necessary I noticed you didn’t do that at the end?
okay 👌🏾 i’ll what
Appreciate it!!!!!
10/10 explanation
3:00 you said spray some soapy water, what kind of soap do you mix the water with man?
great work
So when i go to roll the window down i shouldnt pull the film down a quarter inch? Maybe thats why my cuts dont end up with jus the small flaps at the end to cut with a ruler then huh?
Osm bro ❤😊
Thanks sirr
Can you show a video on how to tint over existing tint ?
How cutting the back screen???
Thanks Shawn! I’m planning to tint my Toyota 4Runner. What is the purpose for shifting the film 1/2” forward?
So you dont undercut the film and have gaps when mounted
Can you use a 30 deg blade for tint? I was told it's mainly for vinyl as it may scratch the glass. Thanks!
It will definitely cut the glass. Because it is much sharper
Unrelated to this specific video but quick question guys. I literally just got my front windshield tinted at 35% ceramic earlier today and realized I want it darker (I want to do 20% ceramic instead). My tint guy said removing the tint would be a mess with all the glue (at least with it being the same day since the tint had no time to cure) so he suggested he put over another 35% tint to create that darker effect. Would you guys ever recommended double tinting or should I just get it removed next week and replaced with the 20% tint?
Thank you guys (I appreciate this channel).
Double layer windshield tint isn’t a big deal, it can be done easily. But 2 layers of 35% is approximately 12%, which is very dark for the windshield. For reference, 2 layers of 20% is about 4%-5%.
Shawn, why did you leave the tint level with the bottom edge "window seal"?? I'm super curious
i really wanna know this as well, usually it goes into the trim like half an inche isnt it?
Wait did you not pull down a bit? Wont the tint be too short
Ship về Việt Nam ko bạn
nice
So If necessary do you shrink your film after you install it? My instructor taught us to shrink it on the outside before installing but I guess you could really do either
I typically only shrink the bottom when it comes to doors.
In my opinion, this is why you shouldn’t cheap out on window tinting. I trust His knowledge and expertise way more than some nut job or my own shaky hands doing the work.
Tinting legal in your state? % ratio?
Where r u from?
THANK YOU SIR , I'M LIVE IN INDIA HELP ME OTHER TECHNIC
Goat
When dude is literally tinting my exact car I’m about to tint
Do you use just water or anything else with water?
... my husband & i a sprayer full of fresh water & a few drops of baby shampoo...
We do Tinting on the side.. 👍🙋♀️
Thank you so much my friend
Where do you purchase your film?
we are tint factory
After you shift the film forward and cut the back edge you have to shift the film back half way or when you cut the top edge the cut will be off
Why is that? Ive been tinting for 11 years and don’t do that.
I also would like to know why I have to shift it back… are you not giving yourself bottom slack
the devil is in the detial, the finger trick was great !
❤
👍👍👍
