I had to decide between this and the Instinct X2. I choose the Instinct X2. It was tough decision, as it came down to a few small factors I.e., Training Readiness, flashlight and ruggedness. The new Sensor in the Venu 3 was also appealing, but you can’t have it all!

Helpful review thanks for posting 👍 I’m trying to hold out for the uk approval for ecg then I’ll get the venue 3 (currently have venue 2) just for the additional stats. I’m new to gym and training (63 yrs old!) and find the stats interesting but I’m not sure how much longer I can wait for Garmin to get approval with so many others already offering it - that said important to me is battery life and Garmin are excellent with that also their App is really good so lots to consider. Thanks again 👍

Hi Steve just thought I’d let you know that I emailed Garmin directly before I jumped into buying a watch. I asked if the UK has ECG capability (as per the US) they did answer although not overly forthcoming, but it was a “No the UK does not have ECG.” And that was pretty much the reply..it came directly from them so I think I’ll look elsewhere now. Just wanted to let you know. It’s possible it will change in the future but there wasn’t any indication in their reply. 👍
@@craigdaly5111 if you log in with US VPN you can use ECG function all over the world even it it is not supported in that country. Most important thing is to use an US VPN
Venu 3 or Vivoactive 5? I don't quite need the altimeter, especially that it was buggy in many models.
If you have the extra money I would go with the Venu 3. It's a very nice device.
Did the elevated sensor dig into your skin at all? I had to return a venu because if that issue and I am not sure if it was some faulty device or what? I wasn’t wearing it tight.
I didn't have any issues with mine. But I do take a break from wearing fitness watches from time to time , as my wrists start to get irritated after a bit.
Forerunner 955 vs venu 3 both the same price right now what one would you go with?? The 32gb storage on the 955 has me stuck on a decision

I know the notifications ends up on the watch, but what I don't understand is why no single creator on TH-cam are showing this. This watch is a daily smartwatch combined with sports and health. I would really like to know what a notification from Facebook,Outlook,Whatsapp as example, looks like on the watch. Will I then see the notification logo and how will it work? Does the message disappears or remains on the homescreen, do i have to go to the menu specifically to read the messages. So little information is given about this that I still hesitate to buy this watch.
Just got my venu 3 in white, the auto detection in the gym is so bad ! Also when u are resting not sleeping, it recored you as sleeping ? Comparing to pixel Watch which one do u prefer ?
Give it a bit time... but i got same problem sometimes... it tracks nap but i am awake but sitting real calm. But this happend just twice till now in 6 six weeks right now... other measures are very accurate! And bodybattery sleep recovery feels like i feel. And heartreate is also very accurate
I preferred the Venu 3 over my new pixel watch 2 that came with my pixel 8 pro.

I would say yes, it's a really nice looking watch with a big amoled screen that lasts quite a while without the always on display.

@@brucelin5842 Camera is great, along with the built in AI, happy with the speed and size of the phone. Defiantly recommend, plus the new free pixel watch 2 is a nice bonus.
Do u find the venu3 get scratched easily in the gym ?
Nope i train a lot at gym i dont got any scratches till now

I’ve tried both and still deciding if you have an iPhone the Apple Watch is way more seamless for podcast, Spotify l, navigation, now playing, or replying to messages. The Garmin fitness data tho is much more feedback gives you recommendations and lots of different info. The battery is also much better around 10-14 days vs one day for the Apple Watch. The Garmin also runs into weird glitches like rn my venu 3 is not showing any weather data. The Spotify app was screwing with my Spotify on my phone fixed now though.
