This build is Awesome! The only thing that would make it better is if the exhaust blew the lid off another smaller toolbox, that would be hilarious. lol.
@@gieljannoe6404 That's an even better idea! Or maybe an old boot or something. It's not a real sleeper work truck until there's some trash rolling around in the back.

Awesome videos!! As for welding, less heat with stainless. Base material should start slightly melting, then add filler. Slow and steady for each melted dot of filler, it worked for me! Never give up and keep on doin it, its the only way to get better!!!

Really enjoyed this video, that’s an awesome shed! Only thing I’d probably do is add some kind of screen or mesh anywhere there’s venting to keep small animals, birds and most importantly, big ass spiders out!
Fyi: that exhaust flange on the turbo is called a marmon flange. Its the typical flange on diesel trucks, since most aftermarket turbos are based off of old diesel turbos. Same concept as a vband with the clamp, just tapered instead of flat. And the exhaust pipe side is normally just flared, rather than having another machined flange.

Always wanted to use an old tool box to hide a nitrous bottle in the bed a old el camino I was building back in the day. It was already a bit of a sleeper. Ran high 12s with a hopped up little small block that looked completely stock.. stock air cleaner and all. Sold it before it ever got nitrous. . Fun times.
I'm wondering if the cut out should be done at the bottom of the short pipe. Then it'll block the long side when open then block the short side when closed? Just my 2 pennies. Awesome build!
Journal bearing turbos should almost never never be restricted. If they smoke its usually because you have a poor drain. If you look at Garrett or similar manuals they state 3/4 minimum to 1" ID drains should be used. Almost no one does that. Also if you look into most journal bearing turbos they have build in restriction before the bearing. I run an6's to all my stuff and I've never had one smoke. But i do use 3/4 ID drains. Prob won't put 30k worth of miles on your turbo car... so a little restriction isn't going yo be the end of the world longevity wise... But its basically a "no-no". Call up any real turbo manufacturer and ask.
I literally said you’d have a ton of turbo lag and I was right and you said I was an idiot. A goood amount anti lag can fix that but damn you won’t get that thing lit without it
Chrysler Conquest TSI = Mitsubishi Starion The Shelby Charger was based on the K-Car platform (as were many other Chrysler vehicles in the 80's) and it had the 2.2 or 2.5 turbocharged engine. No Mitsu parts were used and Carroll Shelby just slapped his name on them, neither cars are related to each other.
I have a question. Not a criticism but curious why you didn’t just do a tonneau cover? The toolbox looks janky since you cut it up. Everything looks like it would fit under a tonneau.
I have a question, this isnt a criticism but after spending so much time and effort hiding everything in the tool boxes, why then have an exit from the top of the toolbox. Looking forward to the rod build.
I have always wondered what all of the powder overspray would look like if collected and sprayed. That's pretty cool. You should clear a part to see if it makes the illusion power change the look any since the illusion powders change a bunch with clear.

Why not make a box under the tool box with a pump and oil for the turbo has it own oil system feed line and a return line
