You'd have to do a lot of justifying to not have Shock players on this list, especially any of the few that play a big part in the Season 2 and 3 wins.
Smurf robbed on Orisa. 'When you think of championship level Orisa, you think of...' the guy who won two championships on Orisa. Then goes on to refute sinatra the doom (which I do agree with), describing the level of team cohesion required, particularly the amount of skill needed for the Orisa player with halts
That pick blindsided me as well. I paused the video and had to think for a good minute on who the best player was that wasn't Fate, Gator, Pokpo, or Smurf and I didn't THINK about Gesture. IMO, OWL 2018 holds the least weight in terms of player greatness as that had the lowest average skill in the league.

Season 1 had tracer, widow, genji and mccree/Cassidy as meta for a lot of the season, while the other seasons definitely had less skillful dps present in the meta (goat to doomfist-reaper rush or mei, etc)
@@ashdude3058 Even so, many of the players on those heroes in S1 either got noticeably better or were no longer in the league in future seasons. Also, mechanics are but a mere part of the full picture; the reason that heroes like Widow found it much harder to singlehandedly carry entire games in later seasons is that teams got better at playing cohesively; it wasn't only individual skill that went up. Also, I'm genuinely not sure you can even _begin_ to compare DPS players in S1 to DPS players in S4; the visible skill difference is immense IMO.
yeah 100% agreed. I thought Smurf was definitely one of the best Orisa’s for a long time, but since fell out of the limelight once double shield was nerfed to oblivion. I love Smurf lol, he’s so damn good
Jjonak is the reason zen is my favorite hero and that combined with how much jjonak did for the league and the way zen is played will always make jjonak my favorite
Maybe during the first few seasons, but he began to get more inconsistent during seasons 3 and 4 as players started to catch up to his skill level. Violet was a much more consistent player who did more healing and damage
I don’t really think it matters, if that’s what decides the pick for him then so be it, it doesn’t have to be consistently for one reason the whole way through.
For me it’s weird that he puts “best player” in the title and then proceeds to look at performance relative to their time. For instance senatraa might be the best relative in time but if you put him up against hanbin in way higher competition years where the level of skill and game sense has not only surpassed but eclipsed the skill and game sense of the year senatraa played her, hanbin would school him. Same with gesture etc. Best just means level of play, and level of play is always better in later seasons, with very very few exceptions from players who were ahead of their generation.
Same goes with sombra without mentioning dding. He's THE sombra player who brought her to the forefront. He pioneered the style of sombra most use today.
I'm a little confused on how the list was put together. On the one hand, longevity/nostalgia is favoured with picks like gesture on orisa and fury on d.va, but then xzi is picked for cassidy, and kai on ashe, without mentioning ans who diffed him on several occasions, and who had the most final blows in a single match vs atlanta on ashe
@@DrewAlvedro There's nothing wrong with that. I wasn't saying the list is bad, just that the criteria for the list seemed a little different than what I anticipated going in. Personally speaking, I would probably put some different players on my _best_ of all time list, but as you said, opinions are opinions and that just happens to be mine.
I think it's more like "when there is indisputable evidence that a player is the best, they have to be said" (i.e. Sinatra on Zarya, Striker on Tracer, Super on Rein and the like) but when there's some debate you're more likely to lean towards some of your favorites over who may be statistically "the best" of all time. Because it's a lot harder to say "who's the best Sigma or Dva" all time than "Who's the best Zarya" which only has one answer if you think about it logically.
I think just his time is too short. And while he is good, Void and Crong just lapped him in his first year in the league, and Piggy did much of the same in his 2nd. He just didn't have a big enough, I guess impression compared to those guys. And Choi has the championships to back up his play which is why ATP chose him I think. While Hanbin is in the top 5 all time for sure on anyone's list, there are a few ahead
@@CrazeeAdam statistically hanbin was the best sigma in the league in season 3 and his team won a tournament with him playing that hero and got third place in the next tourny with him on sig half of the time so saying crong was better is wrong in my opinion.
Ita just that bc of dallas lacking a hitacan and fearless being the best rein and monkey in season 4 they didnt have any reason to play poke/spam comps which are where sigma shines so hanbin didnt play sig
Imo hanbin was an easy candidate for best sig 2 seasons running, best flux use by a mile and general pressure and damage output that no other sig was matching in s3. Imo piggy while statistically good wasn’t actually as smart or efficient and was in my opinion too focused on his own damage output to a point that limited his ability to enable his team, something hanbin executes to a far higher degree
I appreciated the JJanu respect for both DVA and Roadhog. I think people really forget how good JJANU was and if Titans didn't explode with the Runaway core, How great he really could of been in S3/S4 with a team in sync.
I'm giving zenyatta to the player that actually got an MVP award for it and was a top 10 damage player in the inaugral year as a support and literally got a skin made in honor of him

The players around him just got worse every season, that's all.
I like the fact that you put Fissure in honorable mentions for Winston since he literally carried a trash Gladiators team to the playoffs in the inaugural season. I loved watching him play. If it wasn't for him and the Shaz/Biggoose combo, they wouldn't have made the playoffs.
I have 3 things to say: 1: great video, good explanations 2: even though I agree with LIP being the best Sombra, I think Doha has to be an honorable mention as the Doha-LIP rivalary was really exciting to me in the Dallas vs Shanghai games. But even setting that aside, Doha's impact on Dallas' games has been phenomenal so leaving him out entirely is unfortunate imo 3: rest in peace Alarm

I agree with putting both above Doha but he definitely deserves an honourable mention for his sombra (and maybe even soldier) playstyles. I feel like “who was the most influential player on each hero” would be a cool idea For a video. You may need to dabble into Pre-Overwatch league for some of the heroes. But seeing who where the ones to really show what these heroes can do would be a pretty neat way of capping off OW1’s legacy.

I mostly agree but pelican did more when you consider that fleta had a super team around him and pelican was the hardest of hard carries. Just my personal opinion tho I respect yours

@@Infiniti-Benz Ans had 6.1h played in the 2020 season, which is less then Kai’s 8.8h. However, he also had an 84% winrate on the hero to Kai’s 53%. They had near equivalent dmg, kills, and final blows per 10. I think hands down Kai deserved to be the goat of Ashe, he performed magic on the hero whilst on a subpar team. But ANS, probably the second-best Ashe in the league, deserves a little credit

Weird how the reason Sinatraa got best Zarya (his MVP year) isn't enough of criteria for Jjonak to get best Zen (his MVP year). Yes there have been better Zens since then, but there have also been better Zaryas since S2. Sooo which is it?

zarya hasn’t been relevant since outside of a few weeks in s4 and s3 where she was ran over dva in dive comps zen has been a meta fixture every year jjonak simply has more competition
The only thing I would say when it comes to sombra, lip is by far the best. the only person who has ever been able to compete with him has only been fits, fits has never beaten him, but he has been able to compete against him and control his plays which no one has ever been able to do. So when it comes to sombra by default fits is second best and everyone else falls short
I think Choi has an edge over Hanbin in most of these just due to dominance over a longer period, but man if you see that guys stats you’d think he was a hard carry dps not a tank on a great team…
Dding has to be Pharah if there’s selections like Sparkle Doom. No Question. He did what no one else attempted to do and did it better than anyone before or after. Fleta’s great, but he takes #2 in this one, like he does in many of these categories

Honestly bumper's skill isnt what made him 'playable' in owl. He only got value bc of his team and the immense amount of trust he had in that they will keep him alive no matter how much he feeds, and the only reason he had that much trust is bc they had played together in contenders for 1-2 years.
I know this list is personal, but there is definitely some inconsistent thought processes. Mainly with support, I see you reference stats a lot... but the issue with just going off stats is that it's skewed by the overarching teams performance. Haksal stats on brig were good cos titans were beasts in GOATS but skewed is definitely better,, fielder had insane stats 99% of the time because fearless was nuts and let fielder get his coal first. When fearless was not on Winston or rein, fielder struggled for ult advantage.. yet you say fielder managed the super star team? Nah the team helps his stats. Again, same with viol2t vs jjonak. I like viol2t way more, and not even touching on jjonak revolutionizing the hero... but he's better than viol2t. Swap viol2t and jjonak teams...see what happens to stats. This is why having a consistent method and approach would be good... whether they are all stats or all just opinion based on something else
there's a flaw in your argument. you say that when Fearless wasn't on Rein or Winston, Fielder wouldn't be able to get ult charge faster. you're correct there, but you somehow don't realize that if he was on heroes other than Rein/Winston, such as Ball, his playstyle wouldn't be revolved around taking damage, nor would the heroes intrinsic way of playing the game do so, so obviously, Fielders stats would falter - thats just the intrinsic nature of the game. If you were to compare Fielders Moira to anybody else's Moira on the same Rein/Winston comp, Fielder would come out on top, and by a long shot as well. also, your argument of "the team helps his stats" goes for a lot of other flex supports as well, not just for Fielder LOL.

Nothing wrong if he has a different point of view, after all, most of the choices are tough and most importantly, personal opinion it is just that, personal, nobody should be here discussing likes but still funny to contrast our own opinion with respect. Like some on the comments have said, the only thing I’m looking whenever I see these type of opinions is the consistency on your PoV of what you consider the best, even if under anyone elses optics there are other things to consider and you failed a couple of time. Good arguments in defining what for you is the best from the beginning and big shoutouts to not even mix outside game situations with the game itself, whoever gets offended by things outside the game should do some mental exercises in order to be more tolerant and less weak about the world we are living in. Mad respect for bringing this type of content ATP, keep rolling man. And as for my own list, I will skip the ones I agree with because nothing to contrast opinion there, they are just FACTs (kidding...or no...) and not too much to talk about it since you just mention exactly what I got on my mind, the stats are there or they are way too obvious to even discuss. And those are: -Rein -Roadhog -Winston -Zarya -Bastion -Echo -Mcree -Hanzo -Junkrat -Mei -Pharah -Reaper -Soldier -Sombra -Sigma -Sym -Torb -Tracer -Widow -And basically the whole support category, and that means a lot where that is my role on the game itself, so I’m really strict with it and you did not disappoint with your choices. And yes, my favorite player of all time is Jjonak but we all have to be honest about Viol2t. Now about the picks I can understand where you are coming from but I'm not certain whether if they should be considered “the best of all time”: Ash: LIP or ANS. Two of the most prolific DPS hitscan players in league history certainly were the force of domination with ASH of all time and the stats are there to prove it and whichever of them should be considered the best. Kai is not a bad choice though. Kai doesn't even come to my mind even if he has the stats to be among the competition but a general factor I do take into consideration is his contribution to the team to the goals of the season (because remember, this isn't chess, this is a team based game) and unless your numbers are not comparison to the rest (which is not the case) it doesn't matter if your team is bad or not) it is simple a matter of stats and more contribution to your team rather than your personal approach on the heroe, even if you are the only good thing about your team. Dva: I would argue with Fury based on his performance, specially during GOATs era where probably not the most defining moment of Dva or not even the most influential heroe on that era but if you didn't have a well around Dva you were screwed and Fury compare to the others was a deception, specially after Season 1 where he was expected to be a main factor due to his mastery of the heroe. And after GOATs based on stats he never was on the top. JJanu, Choi, Void or Hanbin have more impact and were more decisive for their teams and Fury nowhere near to be found in comparison, but his longevity and his background can be a strong argument and I can see where you're coming from so, I got you. Wrecking Ball: Though The Gigachad himself is not a bad pick for what you said, but based on being impactful and relevant for your team and having the stats with the amount of time, Ameng doesn't make the cut and that should go either to Fate or Ga9A who ended up being better than Ameng at the end but, I don't find Ameng a way bad choice to discuss a lot from what he did and that his stats are top 5 in each of the most important categories so, is not a bad choice at all. And here are the decisions I can’t understand or fails based on the parameters you mentioned at the beginning, even contradicting yourself: Doomfist: The fact you started your argument the way you did doesn't require me to go too deep. You said it all. In one way you mention that the way Brig was played during the Voldermort comp era defines Haksal as the best of this hero (which I totally agree with) and then your turn around the tables saying that what matters the most is when nobody was able to use it? Doomfist needs help to shine…well, the game is a team based game so, that’s the point, isn't it? Also, if the hero by its inception and the way of his playstyle requires to have outstanding team coordination to make some impact specially on that level, that also should be a point to consider rather than a “negative aspect”. Sparkle is nowhere near a bad choice, but stats are stats and are there to prove it. Sinaatra lead his team to a championship in their playoffs, hast the best stats on the hero in Final Blows, Elimination, Damage and even very specific ones like Assist, every of this in Total and per 10 minutes compared to time played so no discussion is needed. Orisa: Ehhhh… what happened to the Horse King Smurf?. Smurf was the most impactful on the hero to the point that in the era where hero was most used (Play Off season 2) he was a key factor that he benched the only real tank contender for MVP on that season and the stats are there to prove it where he has more eliminations and assist (being halt one of the most important abilities during this era, assist where essential part of being an influential Orisa) per 10m than Gesture or anyone that comes into mind when it comes to defining who is the best. Not to mention playtime. Here is a good example where the consistency of the video decays, where you mention with some heroes the playtime and the relevance of the hero is really important but here, you completely forgot about it. Sigma: I can take Choi but its inconsistency and his playtime with the hero doesn’t help him (if you have to be considered the best of all time, you have to be the best AT ALL TIME) and I found way more impactful based on stats Void, Piggy or Hanbin. This has to be one of those where you can feel you went far from bias, especially when you see them play plus their stats, they were true forces of nature. Overall a great list with his controversies and stuff but out of 32 decisions I can safely say is the best list we can find out there for this type of topic. But more than the list itself I love your dedication and continuous pasion about the League and that is at the end of the day what I take from you and will always keep me following your videos.

For what it comes to Genji, it's hard to not go with Sparkle, I mean, he has all the stats required to consider him the best of all time in OWL period (eliminations, damage, final blows, win record) and like OTP mention during some key matches he excel the competition when it comes to dominance (remember how all 2020 SFS succumbed to him in what is said to be the greatest Genji performance in OWL 1 history). We can argue with Haksal (close second to me) but them we will have to include APEX and maybe there, I believe there still a point why Sparkle is called the Genji God. Other cosinderations don't have the enough time to be considered in this comparison or have slightly more time but their stats are not comparable even if we put them in perspective (i.e Agilities, Libero, Kevster, Jinmu, Yaki, EQO).

At their peak, when Genji was way more influential (we have to remember Genji was never hard meta in OWL because pussy devs were and still till today in OW2 scared of having him meta for over 3 weeks, so we have to take in consideration APEX Season 2 to see a predominant Genji meta) it's either Haksal or Whoru, hard to decide which one to go, you can take a look in the Grand Finals of that season and decide for yourself despite the winner. I would take Haksal for being the big factor over that season of taking Runaway "the underdog" straight to the finals with that hero but whoever picks Whoru has been the best at Genjis peak is not an overstament considering he earned that accolade during the performance on that season solidifying it with the Grand Finals MVP he got, some fans would say that Ryujehong deserved it in the finals, just because he was the one who made it difficult to Runaway and specially Haksal to excel while Whoro had it "easy" in coparison, but, that's another story.
generally agree with all the picks, my biggest disagreement is probably Pharah, where I would clearly pick Jinmu. For Tracer, I think it's so difficult to pick among Profit, Yaki, SBB, Architect, Striker, etc, but I would probably go with Profit. Also, we all know that Chipsa is the clear pick for Doom.
I agree with pretty much every pick apart from maybe Genji and pharah. Haksal showed up and played Genji when no-one else played him and dominated, sparkle played Genji when other also did, just he was better than most. And pharah has to go to jinmu, how could it not have?! He's been playing pharah for several seasons now with no contest, he's by far the best

No way my guy picked Viol2t over Jjonak as best zen. Jjonak alone set the standard for the character and basically single-handedly got him nerfed. Not to mention he won MVP pretty much exclusively playing zen. Even in recent years he still performs with less memorable teammates.

Every flex support in 2018 was trying to copy Jjonak, but no one could even begin to match him. He was in a tier of his own and he's still just as good to this day. People just don't realize it because of his lackluster teammates in recent years.
Only have 3 I disagree with, 1. Widow is ANS no question 2. Zenyatta is Violet-league standards increased dramatically since that MVP Nom 3. Hanzo I'd give to fits, the man finds picks outta thin air. Honourable mention goes to Decay for his Sym play, he has some of the best situational awareness, damage and survivability on that character and I would be happy for either choice.
@@itkenreiza9841 I understand your points. For me, Ans only played at his peak in 2020, which is only 1 season in the league. He even did not play that much widow in 2021. For Carpe, he played this hero at an elite level (not the same level as Ans, but he played the hero for 2-3 seasons) That makes the difference. I can see Viol2t being the best Zenyatta, but I think JJonak is the innovator. Decay is very good at Symmetra. He makes tons of plays, but I think Symmetra is a team oriented hero and I think Sp9 and Dallas use it better. But personally, I think decay makes more plays using Sym.

I can respect your reasons for choosing carpe for widow as well, but even if ANS was only at his highest in 2020, his 2021 season showed that he was still incredible at the hero. I love all those choices , but …. my friend …. Skewed is the best Brig we’ve ever seen. I mean the guy can charge rally in 30 seconds , like HOW? How is that even possible?
Brig gets exponentially better the more organized a team is, but even so Skewed is an outlier in terms of peak ability on that hero. Just goes to show that even heroes like Brig aren't quite as simple as some people make them out to be.

I think using goats meta to define the best Brig is also completely ridiculous. Skewed wasn't even in OWL then. Imagine if he had been. He would have shat all over Haksal.
I think just length in the league. We've only seen him for one year. Which is why I personally don't like the pick of Pelican over others like Fleta and Danteh. Haksal is known for his super intelligent and multi year spanning career on Brig. Also it's different eras of Brig. So it's really had to say if Skewed would be as good in GOATs as he is now on her.

well I think people would say Widow, and McCree are ahead of Torb. But yeah maybe after that realistically.

That pick blindsided me as well. I paused the video and had to think for a good minute on who the best player was that wasn't Fate, Gator, Pokpo, or Smurf and I didn't THINK about Gesture. IMO, OWL 2018 holds the least weight in terms of player greatness as that had the lowest average skill in the league.

Season 1 had tracer, widow, genji and mccree/Cassidy as meta for a lot of the season, while the other seasons definitely had less skillful dps present in the meta (goat to doomfist-reaper rush or mei, etc)

Also, mechanics are but a mere part of the full picture; the reason that heroes like Widow found it much harder to singlehandedly carry entire games in later seasons is that teams got better at playing cohesively; it wasn't only individual skill that went up. Also, I'm genuinely not sure you can even _begin_ to compare DPS players in S1 to DPS players in S4; the visible skill difference is immense IMO.

Maybe during the first few seasons, but he began to get more inconsistent during seasons 3 and 4 as players started to catch up to his skill level. Violet was a much more consistent player who did more healing and damage

For me it’s weird that he puts “best player” in the title and then proceeds to look at performance relative to their time.
For instance senatraa might be the best relative in time but if you put him up against hanbin in way higher competition years where the level of skill and game sense has not only surpassed but eclipsed the skill and game sense of the year senatraa played her, hanbin would school him. Same with gesture etc.
Best just means level of play, and level of play is always better in later seasons, with very very few exceptions from players who were ahead of their generation.

On the one hand, longevity/nostalgia is favoured with picks like gesture on orisa and fury on d.va, but then xzi is picked for cassidy, and kai on ashe, without mentioning ans who diffed him on several occasions, and who had the most final blows in a single match vs atlanta on ashe

Personally speaking, I would probably put some different players on my _best_ of all time list, but as you said, opinions are opinions and that just happens to be mine.
I think it's more like "when there is indisputable evidence that a player is the best, they have to be said" (i.e. Sinatra on Zarya, Striker on Tracer, Super on Rein and the like) but when there's some debate you're more likely to lean towards some of your favorites over who may be statistically "the best" of all time. Because it's a lot harder to say "who's the best Sigma or Dva" all time than "Who's the best Zarya" which only has one answer if you think about it logically.

I think just his time is too short. And while he is good, Void and Crong just lapped him in his first year in the league, and Piggy did much of the same in his 2nd. He just didn't have a big enough, I guess impression compared to those guys. And Choi has the championships to back up his play which is why ATP chose him I think. While Hanbin is in the top 5 all time for sure on anyone's list, there are a few ahead

Imo hanbin was an easy candidate for best sig 2 seasons running, best flux use by a mile and general pressure and damage output that no other sig was matching in s3. Imo piggy while statistically good wasn’t actually as smart or efficient and was in my opinion too focused on his own damage output to a point that limited his ability to enable his team, something hanbin executes to a far higher degree

I appreciated the JJanu respect for both DVA and Roadhog. I think people really forget how good JJANU was and if Titans didn't explode with the Runaway core, How great he really could of been in S3/S4 with a team in sync.

They had near equivalent dmg, kills, and final blows per 10. I think hands down Kai deserved to be the goat of Ashe, he performed magic on the hero whilst on a subpar team. But ANS, probably the second-best Ashe in the league, deserves a little credit

The only thing I would say when it comes to sombra, lip is by far the best. the only person who has ever been able to compete with him has only been fits, fits has never beaten him, but he has been able to compete against him and control his plays which no one has ever been able to do. So when it comes to sombra by default fits is second best and everyone else falls short

Honestly bumper's skill isnt what made him 'playable' in owl. He only got value bc of his team and the immense amount of trust he had in that they will keep him alive no matter how much he feeds, and the only reason he had that much trust is bc they had played together in contenders for 1-2 years.
Bumper played like a lunatic which made him an unpredictable feeder.

I know this list is personal, but there is definitely some inconsistent thought processes.
Mainly with support, I see you reference stats a lot... but the issue with just going off stats is that it's skewed by the overarching teams performance.
Haksal stats on brig were good cos titans were beasts in GOATS but skewed is definitely better,, fielder had insane stats 99% of the time because fearless was nuts and let fielder get his coal first. When fearless was not on Winston or rein, fielder struggled for ult advantage.. yet you say fielder managed the super star team? Nah the team helps his stats.
Again, same with viol2t vs jjonak. I like viol2t way more, and not even touching on jjonak revolutionizing the hero... but he's better than viol2t.
Swap viol2t and jjonak teams...see what happens to stats.
This is why having a consistent method and approach would be good... whether they are all stats or all just opinion based on something else
there's a flaw in your argument. you say that when Fearless wasn't on Rein or Winston, Fielder wouldn't be able to get ult charge faster. you're correct there, but you somehow don't realize that if he was on heroes other than Rein/Winston, such as Ball, his playstyle wouldn't be revolved around taking damage, nor would the heroes intrinsic way of playing the game do so, so obviously, Fielders stats would falter - thats just the intrinsic nature of the game. If you were to compare Fielders Moira to anybody else's Moira on the same Rein/Winston comp, Fielder would come out on top, and by a long shot as well. also, your argument of "the team helps his stats" goes for a lot of other flex supports as well, not just for Fielder LOL.

Nothing wrong if he has a different point of view, after all, most of the choices are tough and most importantly, personal opinion it is just that, personal, nobody should be here discussing likes but still funny to contrast our own opinion with respect. Like some on the comments have said, the only thing I’m looking whenever I see these type of opinions is the consistency on your PoV of what you consider the best, even if under anyone elses optics there are other things to consider and you failed a couple of time.
Good arguments in defining what for you is the best from the beginning and big shoutouts to not even mix outside game situations with the game itself, whoever gets offended by things outside the game should do some mental exercises in order to be more tolerant and less weak about the world we are living in.
Mad respect for bringing this type of content ATP, keep rolling man.
And as for my own list, I will skip the ones I agree with because nothing to contrast opinion there, they are just FACTs (kidding...or no...) and not too much to talk about it since you just mention exactly what I got on my mind, the stats are there or they are way too obvious to even discuss. Now about the picks I can understand where you are coming from but I'm not certain whether if they should be considered “the best of all time”:
Ash: LIP or ANS. Two of the most prolific DPS hitscan players in league history certainly were the force of domination with ASH of all time and the stats are there to prove it and whichever of them should be considered the best. Kai is not a bad choice though. Kai doesn't even come to my mind even if he has the stats to be among the competition but a general factor I do take into consideration is his contribution to the team to the goals of the season (because remember, this isn't chess, this is a team based game) and unless your numbers are not comparison to the rest (which is not the case) it doesn't matter if your team is bad or not) it is simple a matter of stats and more contribution to your team rather than your personal approach on the heroe, even if you are the only good thing about your team.
Dva: I would argue with Fury based on his performance, specially during GOATs era where probably not the most defining moment of Dva or not even the most influential heroe on that era but if you didn't have a well around Dva you were screwed and Fury compare to the others was a deception, specially after Season 1 where he was expected to be a main factor due to his mastery of the heroe. And after GOATs based on stats he never was on the top. JJanu, Choi, Void or Hanbin have more impact and were more decisive for their teams and Fury nowhere near to be found in comparison, but his longevity and his background can be a strong argument and I can see where you're coming from so, I got you.
Wrecking Ball: Though The Gigachad himself is not a bad pick for what you said, but based on being impactful and relevant for your team and having the stats with the amount of time, Ameng doesn't make the cut and that should go either to Fate or Ga9A who ended up being better than Ameng at the end but, I don't find Ameng a way bad choice to discuss a lot from what he did and that his stats are top 5 in each of the most important categories so, is not a bad choice at all.
And here are the decisions I can’t understand or fails based on the parameters you mentioned at the beginning, even contradicting yourself:
Doomfist: The fact you started your argument the way you did doesn't require me to go too deep. You said it all. In one way you mention that the way Brig was played during the Voldermort comp era defines Haksal as the best of this hero (which I totally agree with) and then your turn around the tables saying that what matters the most is when nobody was able to use it? Doomfist needs help to shine…well, the game is a team based game so, that’s the point, isn't it? Also, if the hero by its inception and the way of his playstyle requires to have outstanding team coordination to make some impact specially on that level, that also should be a point to consider rather than a “negative aspect”. Sparkle is nowhere near a bad choice, but stats are stats and are there to prove it. Sinaatra lead his team to a championship in their playoffs, hast the best stats on the hero in Final Blows, Elimination, Damage and even very specific ones like Assist, every of this in Total and per 10 minutes compared to time played so no discussion is needed.
Orisa: Ehhhh… what happened to the Horse King Smurf?. Smurf was the most impactful on the hero to the point that in the era where hero was most used (Play Off season 2) he was a key factor that he benched the only real tank contender for MVP on that season and the stats are there to prove it where he has more eliminations and assist (being halt one of the most important abilities during this era, assist where essential part of being an influential Orisa) per 10m than Gesture or anyone that comes into mind when it comes to defining who is the best. Not to mention playtime. Here is a good example where the consistency of the video decays, where you mention with some heroes the playtime and the relevance of the hero is really important but here, you completely forgot about it.
Sigma: I can take Choi but its inconsistency and his playtime with the hero doesn’t help him (if you have to be considered the best of all time, you have to be the best AT ALL TIME) and I found way more impactful based on stats Void, Piggy or Hanbin. This has to be one of those where you can feel you went far from bias, especially when you see them play plus their stats, they were true forces of nature.
Overall a great list with his controversies and stuff but out of 32 decisions I can safely say is the best list we can find out there for this type of topic. But more than the list itself I love your dedication and continuous pasion about the League and that is at the end of the day what I take from you and will always keep me following your videos.

Hi.
For what it comes to Genji, it's hard to not go with Sparkle, I mean, he has all the stats required to consider him the best of all time in OWL period (eliminations, damage, final blows, win record) and like OTP mention during some key matches he excel the competition when it comes to dominance (remember how all 2020 SFS succumbed to him in what is said to be the greatest Genji performance in OWL 1 history).
We can argue with Haksal (close second to me) but them we will have to include APEX and maybe there, I believe there still a point why Sparkle is called the Genji God. Other cosinderations don't have the enough time to be considered in this comparison or have slightly more time but their stats are not comparable even if we put them in perspective (i.e Agilities, Libero, Kevster, Jinmu, Yaki, EQO).

At their peak, when Genji was way more influential (we have to remember Genji was never hard meta in OWL because pussy devs were and still till today in OW2 scared of having him meta for over 3 weeks, so we have to take in consideration APEX Season 2 to see a predominant Genji meta) it's either Haksal or Whoru, hard to decide which one to go, you can take a look in the Grand Finals of that season and decide for yourself despite the winner. I would take Haksal for being the big factor over that season of taking Runaway "the underdog" straight to the finals with that hero but whoever picks Whoru has been the best at Genjis peak is not an overstament considering he earned that accolade during the performance on that season solidifying it with the Grand Finals MVP he got, some fans would say that Ryujehong deserved it in the finals, just because he was the one who made it difficult to Runaway and specially Haksal to excel while Whoro had it "easy" in coparison, but, that's another story.

generally agree with all the picks, my biggest disagreement is probably Pharah, where I would clearly pick Jinmu. For Tracer, I think it's so difficult to pick among Profit, Yaki, SBB, Architect, Striker, etc, but I would probably go with Profit.
Also, we all know that Chipsa is the clear pick for Doom.
Jinmu can't be the fleta's rival as phara. Fleta is much better than jinmu.

Haksal showed up and played Genji when no-one else played him and dominated, sparkle played Genji when other also did, just he was better than most. And pharah has to go to jinmu, how could it not have?! He's been playing pharah for several seasons now with no contest, he's by far the best

No way my guy picked Viol2t over Jjonak as best zen. Jjonak alone set the standard for the character and basically single-handedly got him nerfed. Not to mention he won MVP pretty much exclusively playing zen. Even in recent years he still performs with less memorable teammates.

@@daztheswag1235 I'm not disagreeing with any numbers. It's just that when I think greatest of all time, I think of someone who literally revolutionized the character and his playstyle. Every flex support in 2018 was trying to copy Jjonak, but no one could even begin to match him. He was in a tier of his own and he's still just as good to this day. People just don't realize it because of his lackluster teammates in recent years.

@@itkenreiza9841 I understand your points. For me, Ans only played at his peak in 2020, which is only 1 season in the league. He even did not play that much widow in 2021. For Carpe, he played this hero at an elite level (not the same level as Ans, but he played the hero for 2-3 seasons) That makes the difference.
I can see Viol2t being the best Zenyatta, but I think JJonak is the innovator.
Decay is very good at Symmetra. He makes tons of plays, but I think Symmetra is a team oriented hero and I think Sp9 and Dallas use it better. But personally, I think decay makes more plays using Sym.
@@itkenreiza9841 For Hanzo, I would only consider Birdring or Profit. These two play 7hrs+ hanzo and consistently great. Profit is clutch on this hero and I agree with ATP

I can respect your reasons for choosing carpe for widow as well, but even if ANS was only at his highest in 2020, his 2021 season showed that he was still incredible at the hero. I think that the years carpe has played widow he has been in contention for the goat, but I still think hero wise ANS is just better

Brig gets exponentially better the more organized a team is, but even so Skewed is an outlier in terms of peak ability on that hero. Just goes to show that even heroes like Brig aren't quite as simple as some people make them out to be.
Rascal got a 22 second rally before I think skewed was 44 seconds aswell if I’m not mistaken

Brig was BROKEN back then , her repair packs healed way more than now , her inspire healed more , she had a 500 HP shield , as well as all OW ultimates cost less than now

I think using goats meta to define the best Brig is also completely ridiculous. Skewed wasn't even in OWL then. Imagine if he had been. He would have shat all over Haksal.
I think just length in the league. We've only seen him for one year. Which is why I personally don't like the pick of Pelican over others like Fleta and Danteh. Haksal is known for his super intelligent and multi year spanning career on Brig. Also it's different eras of Brig. So it's really had to say if Skewed would be as good in GOATs as he is now on her.
