Considering we got both the Zeon F2 and the Aggressor F2, I'm kinda surprised we didn't get the Gelgoog Aggressor colors. Especially, as this video pointed out, the standard Marine doesn't come with an antenna. I guess you could buy Cima's Gelgoog to fix that- it comes with all the normal Marine parts (in the wrong colors- but hey, you're already painting it!)
The Meyrin facts are a nice inclusion, I can learn more from you now! If I may, you could use sliding text to cover more text, and also have it slide up instead of just appear. Another great review!
Ok I was planning to buy this but if I do buy it I'm definitely gonna cut down that back skirt just around the thrusters so it would have more mobility
I like the regular Gelgoog more, but that may be my bias towards the beam naginata. Of course, my favorite Gelgoog is still the Jaeger, which is probably a pretty popular choice. Actually, maybe I'll say this ties with the regular one. Naginata and the zulu shield are neater than beam sabers and knuckle shield, but, the rifle's cooler on this and the forearm guns are neat.
I also like the Gelgoog Jager's more aesthetic lines and cut; you can see it in Kararot's Gelgoog comparison lineup. It just has really nice detailing and stronger angles in the torso sculpt and skirt armor compared to the other Gelgoogs. I really wish they would release an updated Gelgoog Jager. The old HG kit shows its age terribly compared to more recent models, despite how nice a design it is. As much as I love Zakus out of all gunpla, even I'm getting Zaku fatigue from the Origin line. Bandai needs to show some love to Zeon's other MS later in the OYW like the Dom and Gelgoog.
The Marine is a solid kit considering it's age. My main gripe is that the machine gun is a bit tiny for my tastes. I'd totally buy a Revive but I doubt Bandai will make one. I've heard stories that the thigh balls tend to break off easily though it hasn't happened with mine (yet).
A warning for potential owners, the hip joints are extremely tight fitting, and there's a good chance you'll break off the ball joints in the sockets if you aren't careful. I would suggest sanding down the ball joints before plugging them in.
Really awesome improvements. There is really nothing I could recommend you to add except for the retail prices in US dollars too. Other than that, it's pretty much perfect.
+M E I did dollar and Euro prices in the beginning, but with fluctuating exchange rates I decided to stick to Yen, because that's the only value with an msrp. Still, it might be something to reconsider.
This kit really needs a revive. I noticed a lotta the revive kits stay more true to the turnaround art so I really hope this gets that. I did cut it's eye to be smaller like the anime ver

Nice video! I really like older kits like this Gelgoog. Sure the newer stuff has a lot of fancy features, but kits like this one meet my needs and are so much cheaper too.
Isnt the reason the gelgoog marine is less equipped is because it was a Earth based machine? So after Odessa zeon had to start getting creature with the weapons packages and in turn like the zaku I sniper repurposed many of its equipment
Um.. Clip=/=Mag. Clips are just bunches of ammo held together with metal pieces, while magazines are the tubes with the springs. Also, that thing with a mag is an autocannon, not a machine gun. 90mm's way larger than what most of us would call a heavy machine gun.

Bought two units of this kit and repainted one into EFSF aggressor colors as seen in episode 13 of the series.

Yeah, I know. You'd think that the EFSF version would be a P-Bandai release, even if that means a lot of duplicate parts due to the color scheme.
That machine gun is worth the kit in itself, that's absolutely awesome.

Find a 1/12 2cm Oerlikon or Hispano. Rebarrel with 1/144 sub-capital naval rifle of choice. Done.
