Thanks for this video. I’m so glad you have accomplished your goal. Everything you said is me right now. I’m about to call it quits. I just can’t take it anymore. I need to box up everything to donate. This is so overwhelming. Thanks again
I am so proud of you for purging what was not selling. I am going through my inventory right now purging older items that I bought before I found my niche of things I enjoy selling, I too had purchased a lot of things that were trial and then they became errors and a waste of my listing time. I really like your work space it is awesome.
Your space looks good and manageable. I work online from home and resell on the side. I’m using a large hall closet to hold my inventory which limits me to 8 bins, hanging space and two shelves above. It’s also how it keeps me from looking like a hoarder, lol! The sale of those items goes toward fun stuff like memberships, travel and hobbies. I also recently donated some old inventory and keep one bin for family consignments. New subscriber wishing you great sales!
You have an awesome workspace! I just gave my own workspace a huge makeover due to a shift in our business too. It feels so good to have a dedicated spot for work!
I bulk up dead piles and list locally on fb marketplace caption calling all resellers ,booth venders and antique collectors. Highest bid wins and do a once a month Clear out … and I do clear out sells on jewelry on my little live auctions on whatnot and we do freebee Friday every week where we give away curb alerts and buy something pick a freebee . Cleans out the space every single time . Then we pack up and go on thrift hauls and start all over ! Love it we have a mother in law suit on our property that we have a processing center in .. Photo Booth area , storage for home goods and trinkets and a curio to house vintage glass to protect it … then a shipping room for packaging weighing and the postal lady to pick up ! We love it it’s definitely a big reason we don’t live at the lake full time YET because we’re currently on a waiting list for several booth spaces near the lake house so… I’m sure your going to miss this home for many reasons when your ft at the lake but then if I could trade off w full time paddle boarding you might not have to twist my arm to hard lol !
You should give the people the baskets back, it is a lot of headache to sell stuff and they have to do it for themselves, if they want to make the money, or they need to donate it. I would never agree to sell for someone, as it is giving me enough headache already😂I can't sell car parts and I might have to donate them eventually.
Great job on the cleanup - your space looks amazing! I am exactly the same way. I cannot function unless everything is organized. I have a question about your clothes that you sell. After you purchase the clothing, what do you do to make them look good? Do you wash and iron them before taking photos? I was just wondering about how to do that! I am very new to this world of re-selling. Thank you!
Thank you! - I throw what needs to go in the washer. If an item is new with tags or I feel it doesn’t need to be washed, I steam them with my clothing steamer.
@@thethriftyjewel thank you for the tip! For my own personal clothing, I use a spray bottle full of water and a capful of Downey softener (homemade - not the Downey brand you can buy). I spray my clothes when I take them out of my closet to wear. It helps release wrinkles and my clothes smell amazing! I also freshen my sheets and pillowcases with the Downey mixture and the sheets smell so good! I think I may do this with the thrifted clothes now that I think about it. I’ve always just wondered if there was a standard cleaning practice for selling used clothes! Thanks again!
